Nestled in Kill Devil Hills, this attractive house for $241 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Wonderful location in the heart of the Outer Banks. Located at Milepost 6. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and a great coffee shop! House only rents Saturday-Saturday in the summer. House is 10 years old and was completely redone by me when I bought it in 2011. I put in all new kitchen appliances and flooring throughout. New dishwasher in 2022. In 2016 I had a completely new air conditioning system installed. In 2017 I replaced all the mattresses. in 2019 I replaced all the carpet in the bedrooms (its softer on bare feet now!) My family and I use it a lot in the off seasons and the house gets fully booked for summers so it has everything I know you want! The Lazy Susan is located in Kill Devil Hills, NC at Mile Post 6 on the West (Sound) side. 3 blocks from The Front Porch-the best coffee shop in the OBX. The house has 3 bedrooms-2 queen beds, 2 single beds and 2 full bathrooms with tubs that were all completely redecorated. Ceiling fans and new light fixtures throughout. Flat screen Smart TV in the Great Room. Flat screens in all bedrooms as well. Large deck on the second level. Gas grill. Free Wireless Internet. New outdoor shower in 2012. Perfect house for couples, families or small groups. It is a Beach Box (on stilts) so there are stairs to get to the living area. The house is pet friendly but there is not a fenced in yard, so you will have to walk them. There is a 3 night minimum in the off season. 7 night minimum (Saturday to Saturday) Memorial Day-Labor Day.

The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. Even though it's pet friendly, you cannot tell that animals have been there. The only recommendations I have would be a fenced yard for dogs and a more comfortable chair in the living room, such as a recliner. All in all, it was one of the nicest places I've stayed at in the Outer Banks.

Our family completely enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Susan. Plenty of space inside and out, even if it rained, under the house. Loved the hammock, but not near as much as the sound sunsets. Breathtaking. Thank you for life long memories.

We recently stayed at the Lazy Susan and had a wondeful time! The house was the perfect size and had all of the amenities we needed for four adults, a baby, and two big dogs. My son loved taking afternoon naps in the hammock under the deck. The house is located within walking distance of a coffee shop and a walking path along the sound, which was perfect for walking our dogs in the morning before it got too hot. It is a short drive to the beach, grocery store, theater, and other local activities. The house was very clean and ready for us at check-in. My only critique for this fabulous stay is I wish sheets and bath towels would have been provided because we specifically had to buy sheets for the beds due to not having those size beds at home. Overall, the house was fantastic. If you are looking for a pet friendly house in the OBX I highly recommend the Lazy Susan!

This property is well located for exploring everything OBX has to offer. The need to bring bedding and towels was a bit problematic for a group flying down. If your not a fan of bright white LED lights this is not your place. Overall though very enjoyable.

Lots of seating inside and out. Walking distance from all kinds of different stores and a 2 minute drive to the public beach. We walked to get coffee every morning and the beach was nice and clean. Neighborhood was peaceful and very quiet. Follow the directions for check out that you get in the email not the binder and don’t forget to bring your linens! Would definitely stay again!! Highly recommend!

The house is amazing - great location, beautiful inside and outside. It has everything that you may need and more. I’ve been renting for years through VRBO and this is definitely one of the nicest places we stayed at. Great communication with the owner and property manager. Wifey turned 38 and all she wanted to do was getaway and relax and the Lazy Susan was perfect. We were nothing but lazy the entire trip, lol. This time of year in OBX was perfect for us. Thank you again. The house was very nice and well supplied.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! Our entire family, including our pup, felt at home and absolutely loved our trips to the beach and walks to the sound. Friendly neighbors and close to all of the places we were looking forward to visiting this year. Agree with another guest that the mattresses were a bit squeaky, but overall a great stay and we look forward to returning!
