We had a blast-- come stay for the huge wrap-around porch : )

The location couldn't be beat. A short walk to everything we wanted, but not on a main road, so pretty quiet. The porch totally made the house; we spent all our free time out there, sheltered from the rain, and enjoying the cooler weather. The house is older, but that's fine. The upstairs bedrooms were adequate; comfortable and clean enough.

When we walked through the house when we first arrived, we noticed dirty towels on the floor near the shower. When we unfolded the couch, there were used sheets on it. We had to call for a pillow and blanket for the couch. The shower liner had mold at the bottom of it. The help line did seem to take our concerns seriously, and sent someone over with pillow/blanket for the couch, new sheets for the couch, and to clean up the dirty laundry. The listing had said there were 3 bedrooms, and that bedroom 3 had 2 beds. This is not the case. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed and a fold out couch in the living room. The listing says there is room for 8- no way. We were a group of 4, and I would think that is maximum. Also, the bathroom is on the first floor, so we had to walk through the "bedroom" of the person on the couch to use it during the night. We made it work, and it can't be changed. Would have been fine if we didn't need a bed for our 4th person, and 3 of us slept upstairs

The property was nice and the location was excellent.

The house did not have air conditioning which was very uncomfortable during our stay since it happened to be very hot.

I was disappointed, I felt that it was not worth the money I spent. Next time I will book a hotel.

The pictures did not reflect what the property actually looked like in person. I would not recommend if you require a sanitized environment. I would not bring a baby or elderly person here. In fact for the same price you can stay at a 4 star hotel in oak bluffs or Edgartown. The sheets felt like potato sacks and there were ants everywhere- in the kitchen, in the couch it was really unclean. The furniture was also old and broken down. I had to spend a night in a hotel because it was so unsanitary.
