Much more than what I was expecting. Excellent!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He’s a great cook. Guesthouse is not far from internacional airport. It’s in the heart of Kalinago territory. Wonderful views around.

Very good

We liked the friendly and attentive host. The breakfast was nice also. We liked the fact that the host Kevin gave us a local cellphone to keep in touch and make local calls. We were really surprised and greatly appreciated it. We highly recommend you stay at Danglez as they cater to the needs of the group.

Exceptional

It was a pleasure to stay at Kevin's place. Kevin was very welcoming and happily shared recommendations on things to do arround, in the Kalinago territory, but also on Dominica in general. He organised transportation (e.g. from the airport) and tours and helped with plenty of other information. Thank you again for the pleasant stay (and the amazing breakfast!).

Nice spot in Kalinago reserve.

Kevin is a great host. Breakfast and dinner two nights all great.

It's a bit of a drive from the airport but not too bad, maybe 25 minutes.

Home away home near Kalinago model village

The location is close to Kalinago model village and Klingon territory where indigenous tribe inhabited. owner Kevin is a great guy who treat customers well and arrange transport from airport ,also to travel around the country with a good guide. clean property with a communal bathroom, has a beautiful view, WiFi , free local delicious breakfast and local guava and pineapple juice. we had a great time , good value for money.Felt like wear in our home country. we loved the place and experience.

Great

The owner Kevin is awesome . He is welcoming,arranges for transport and even food. He made my stay comfortable and I recommend it.

The toilet is shared, and there is no standby power source without the grid... which is the norm, though

Nice country side place in Kalinago. Close to Kalinago Barana Aute culture center. Owner Kevin is a good cook too. He even arranged public transport to go to Roseau.

The DOM airport pick up price was high.

An overnight stay that was a great start to my travels. very friendly host. Excellent location.

Breakfast excellent the host provided more than my money's worth by the breakfast alone. The breakfast was so filling that I had to skip lunch. The location is a bit far but with transportation it is more than worth the price per night

Home from home in an unusual location

The location is part of the experience, a bit off the beaten track and reached by public minibus from the ferry terminal. Very clean property throughout ; views from my room at the back included a distant sea view. The real value-add of staying here was Kevin's ability to put trips together for me - organising a car and driver/guide, arranging a hiking guide, contacting minibus drivers for public transport. I did a number of long hikes and visited several parts of the island by car, but specifically the Kalinago territory which has its own history, people and culture. I don't believe I could have got this exposure staying at a resort. Meals were representative of the local cuisine and prepared with local produce - I appreciated the fish dishes which I asked for, and the fresh fruit juice. There was an electric fan to cool the room before going to sleep (but no aircon). Excellent wi-fi, and I was able to share Kevin's office to work from.

Some minor points. Little storage space in the room, I mostly lived out of my bag. The dinner portions would make an elephant blush, and the various tubers eaten locally I found very heavy and filling over several days.

Exceptional

It was a brilliant experience. Kevin is a great host. He makes the entire trip feel like a home away from home. The included breakfasts are always a treat, and if you pay 9usd you can have a dinner which is also just amazing. Additional notes: Great WiFi, With the way the rooms are set up, the ventilation and fans make the night extremely cozy, Great water pressure.

Kevin is a great host who cares a lot about the customers and will help you with everything you need. He is such a caring host that even calls when its dark outside and is willing to even get you if there is need for that. The house itself is clean and has a beautiful view (its possible to see the sea from a far). Near the house there 2 small shops in case you want to do grocery or get some other product. If you want to escape the busy life and be near the nature then ill surely recommend it.

Its on the country side of dominica but that can be a good thing.

Lovely host, meals, and location

Kevin is a lovely host, very welcoming, great conversation, and an excellent cook. Dinner was $8 US and amazing. The breakfast included was delicious. Perfect place to get a real feel for Kalinago living. Close walk to the Kalinago native center where there is a historic, pretty walk, crafts for sale, and a snackette/bar. We loved our experience here.
