Has the potential to be amazing…

The design of the place is absolutely beautiful, well thought out with lots of natural materials. The room was spacious and clean, there was a nice outdoor covered area to chill and places to dry wet clothes. The kitchen was equipped with all the basic bits and there was refillable water facilities. The staff were helpful.

The bathroom was really dirty around the shower area, there was a dead cockroach there for the entirely of our 3 night stay. The bathroom tap didn’t work so we had to use the shower to wash our hands. The WiFi didn’t work at all during our stay so we had to hotspot. The shelves in the kitchen were dirty. The place could be absolutely amazing with a bit of TLC but it’s been neglected for a while it seems.

Arlene's hospitality and the hotel's unique charm made our stay delightful.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel, thanks to the warm and helpful manager, Arlene. The two adorable cats added a charming touch, and we even made friends with one that stayed with us all night. Arlene quickly resolved all our concerns and arranged a shared van for us.

The loud AC led us to turn it off, but we hesitated to open doors and windows due to concerns about insects (pesticide is provided). Furthermore, the shower head on our side of shared bathroom provided only a small amount of water (the other side worked perfectly fine). Wi-Fi was weak, considering getting enough data.

Super Preis Leistung in gemütlicher Seitenstraße

Von den 5 Unterkünften in denen wir waren das mit Abstand beste Preis Leistungs Verhältnis in Siargao. Wir haben uns eine Wohnung mit zwei Familien geteilt und hatten genug Platz und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und steht bei allen Wünschen direkt zur Seite.

Viele Ameisen, Kakerlaken und Geckos. Wir fanden es nicht so schlimm, aber manch einer hat hier vielleicht Probleme mit.

Gutes Hostel mit fairem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und guter Lage und kostenlosem Wasser

Die Unterkunft liegt ziemlich nah an der Cloud 9 und man kann innerhalb weniger Minuten in verschiedene Richtungen laufen oder mit dem Roller fahren und mehr verschiedene Cafés und Restaurants ausprobieren. Trotzdem ist es relativ ruhig und man hörte nur manchmal abends Musik von den angrenzenden Hostels oder Bars am Strand. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet und das Bett ist sehr bequem, obwohl es nur eine Matratze auf einer Palette ist. Wir hatten zwei Ventilatoren in unserem Zimmer. Es gibt aber auch Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Es gab immer frisches kostenloses Wasser, welches man nutzen durfte.

Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist eine holprige Angelegenheit und bei viel Regen ist der Weg etwas überflutet. Am besten ist man nur mit FlipFlops unterwegs oder fährt mit dem Roller mitten durch. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder sind ok, wobei es kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen gibt, obwohl es so geschrieben wurde. Die Küche haben wir fast nicht benutzt, da das umliegende Essen relativ günstig ist. Es war aber alles etwas eingestaubt und es lagen sehr viele offene und benutzte Lebensmittel herum, die dort schon länger keiner mehr benutzt hat.

The broken board is a hidden gem. We find it very accessible to a very affordable bbq place, mad monkey, cloud 9, kanaway place and catangnan bridge (sunset bridge) for just a few minutes walk and a bit of good exercise. Actually, we saw andi and philmar on our first and last day. The homestay is a few meters away from the road and a couple kilometers away from GL tourism road which is the best to keep the nights quiet and well rested. Ate Arlene was very accommodating to us, she answered all our inquiries and also helped us arranged for some island hopping and land tours. What I love on their homestay is the hot and cold showers and of course, the bidet!! Bidet is life and good wifi! I will gatekeep this homestay for my next siargao trip!

The place is ok its clean and near the beach but we always wakes up in the morning with back pain.

Ate Rlene was kind and always ready to help Kitchen is provided with basic stuff so we were able to cook some meal Near the beach

Replace the drier as 2 of our garments were damaged Bed is quite uncomfortable They should automatically change the throwpillow cases when there are new occupants. I informed ate Arlene and she washed them straight away but I keep on forgeting to mention that some pillows stinks! Too many ants!

We had a wonderful time.

The staff (Ate Arlene) was very welcoming, friendly and approachable. Lots of nice plants, hermit crabs, comfortable rooms, functional kitchen, with water dispenser, spacious rooms, lots of wall outlets and clean bathrooms. The room rates was very reasonable.

The doors were hard to open/close. Wi-fi needs improvement. That’s all!

I like the place overall it was convenient and worth the money. I got to enjoy our little bonding time with the cat there.

There was a construction going on so it's a bit noisy during our stay and my partner noticed that when you shower some of the construction worker do peek when someone is inside the restroom and shower room

Very nice place and staff

The place it is very nice and the owners are also very friendly and helpful. The room it is basic, but does the job. The common area is really spacious and has all the things you need.

The bathroom could be cleaned a bit more. The road to the place and the entrance to the resort was a bit bulky to reach with the motorbikes.

JUST BOOK AND ENJOY!

Very spacious, calming, relaxing, and even if we had booked the fan room, it isn't that hot during day time as air can pass through the window and front door. I like how I can move freely around, cook food, make a coffee, free water is available, walking distance to cloud 9 and other stores where I can easily buy stuff I need. So close to Andi and Philmar's house and their Kanaway Snack Bar where we got a chance to meet Andi. Near the bar hopping site and food hubs. They have a reliable internet connection. Excellent for work at home setup. Ate Arlene is very accommodating and very helpful in providing your needs. She helped us arrange our tours, motorcycle rent, and van to airport. Her boss answering my inquiry here in booking.com is very accommodating and responsive too. Such a great place to stay! And WORTH THE PRICE. So affordable!

The road is quiet challenging during rainy days. Definitely needs to be fixed by concrete or asphalt. But it's okay since I wanted to feel the province vibes so getting my feet wet and muddy should not be an issue =)

Great stay!

Ate Arlene is really helpful and is available at all times for any queries. There were 3 of us and there were 2 good sized rooms, and aircon working fine in both rooms. We also got the room with balcony, sitting area and table provided in the balcony which is good.
