Lovely accommodation in nice town

Nice house with lovely large room and nice bathroom with large shower and good water pressure. Breakfast top class. Quiet location and walkable to best beach in Hermanus as well as cliff walk

Great value for money

The check-in was effortless. The room was spacious. TV was big enough with YouTube on it. Lovely patio with mountain view.

Beautiful short stay, perfect room and will definitely be back for a weekend

everything, our room was spectacular with amazing ocean views, sparkling clean. very quite area, 4mins walk to the beach. Ww also met the lovely owner, friendly staff and amazing guest as guest as well during breakfast.

We really really wish we had booked a few more days!

It was exceptionally safe, beautifully clean and well decorated. We only stayed one night but we would have loved to have stayed more. We had the sea facing room with a balcony and the view was so wonderful. It was so quiet, I thought we were the only ones there but at breakfast, it was full! Thank you Aurelia and Antonia, we really enjoyed our stay ☺️

OUTSTANDING

Friendly, welcoming staff. The accommodation is modern, clean and very inviting. The breakfast is generous and scrumptious. It is in walking distance to well know Grotto Beach and Dutchies Restaurant. Highly recommended. A bonus is they have alternative power supply, so no loadshedding.

Loved our stay and will be back

Very very well kept, beautifully decorated and well managed by superb staff. Breakfast is a treat.

Limited Tv and no Netflix streaming service. Pillows and mattress are uncomfortable

Que pena no haber podido estar mas días

Primero valorar el esfuerzo del personal para que todo fuese bien a pesar de la gran tormenta que hubo en la zona y encontrase con problemas ajenos a su establecimiento. Fue una pena porque la zona, el hotel y la gente es para estar mas tiempo y disfrutar.

Perfect location when visiting Hermanus

The place was very clean and pretty with amazing views of the mountain, the location was perfect for visiting Hermanus and nearby towns and the breakfast was excellent. The staff (Antonia) was very helpful when we checked in. The manager told us where to find the perfect viewpoint for whale watching and she was absolutely spot on. While our whale-watching trip has been cancelled because of the weather, it has been a lovely experience staying overnight and would certainly book here again when we come back to Cape Town for another holiday.

There were no cutlery in the apartment although we could have asked the staff and they would surely have provided, we didn't bother. We only needed a teaspoon to stir coffee so a disposable wooden stirrer could have been provided in the rooms.

Aurelia is a so nice, she prepared everything we need in the room. She reminded us and helped send the cellphone back to us that we left in the room. All the staff are friendly and helpful, they made us feel like home. Also the breakfast is delicious. Wi-Fi is strong, and we’ve been informed schedule of load shedding for preparation, which helped a lot. The accommodation is cozy and modern, much more better than photos. The location is good and quite. You can drive to the cliff beach and town center in 10 minutes.

I booked this accommodation for my parents to celebrate their anniversary. The host (Aurelia) went above and beyond for us. She even went out to buy wine and roses to put in their room and helped me by writing a special message for them. My parents loved their stay here.The staff were friendly, the accomodation was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. Aurelia was so warm and friendly and gave them lots of tips about places to visit and things to do. They will definitely go back!

Delightful stay at Whalecoast Ocean Villa

It was a wonderful, relaxed vacation at Whale Coast Ocean Villa. Trevor and Charity were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Trevor made a warm fire on the afternoon of our arrival. We had a delicious breakfast every morning. The villa is a short walk to the Hermanus cliff paths, which were very safe and provided gorgeous views of the coastline. They had solar and we were not affected by loadshedding. It is only a few minutes from the city centre and harbour to explore shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning again.
