Nice place, spacious and convenient

Convenience of a mall below. Marius is super friendly and welcoming. Excellent manners. Location is close to all restaurants and the marina.

The couches are for small people not larger sized people. Very uncomfortable. We didn’t eat breakfast as the area has a better variety for the same price. Rather exclude breakfast here. The location is above a shopping mall. Very very noisy in the morning and you can’t lie in or rest. No Dstv.

Disappointing

Location. Staff very helpful and friendly

Dirty bath on arrival, appartment not very clean, some appliances not working, extractor fan in one bathroom not working and in other bathroom could not switch it off, light on balcony not working, only 2 instead of 3 emergency lights available. Legs of one bed kept breaking off. Website is misleading: no built in braai on balcony, only portable one on request. Braai not cleaned after we used it. Quality went down since our previous stay a few years ago.

We did not enjoy our stay at all and wish the hotel had been more upfront about what was going on.

The location is great.

The hotel had no electricity 3 days prior to my visit (due to the storms). They also have no generator. The hotel had WhatsApp me a day or two before my arrival with the location etc. In my opinion they should have informed me then that there was no electricity in the hotel. When we checked in we were told v quickly right at the end of checking in that there was no electricity and due to no generator, no lights or hot water. But it was ok as the power would be back on at 4pm (it wasn't),. This isn't the hotels fault as it was due to bad weather, but they should have informed us before we came to Hermanus what the situation was. We would not have come otherwise. Its important to note they do not have a generator. The fridge wasn't working well and was v noisy. Lights didn't work in one of the bedrooms. No hairdryer and the TV didn't work properly. The kitchen was quite bare, not a lot to cook with.

The staff were lovely and accomating. The bedrooms were comfy.

It's based on top of a mall and the generator was very loud. The aircon in the bedroom didn't work.

horrible cockroach infested place.

location relative to the city center

we spent the night evening killing cockroaches. we even found one on the bed. needless to say we did not sleep and left as soon as possible the following morning.

Exceptional

Wonderful large fully equipped appartment in a shopping center with all amenities around. Short walk to the water front with many good restaurants.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful when the TV and WIFI would not work. The positive aspect of the location is being able to walk everywhere which was fantastic.

The only negative was the noise from being above the shopping centre. Taxis with their loud music at all hours, deliveries to shops etc.

As described, but much more a conference hotel than a holiday apartment.

Large apartment with lots of space. As described, short walk to centre of town and all facilities. good free secure parking.

Very low level of equipment, very little kitchen things, no salt, pepper, oil etc. Balcony overlooking very busy car par.

Great central location once you get used to the idea of living practically in a shopping centre.

Staff super friendly and very helpful. Rooms impeccable. Breakfast was excellent, beautifully presented exactly to order each day.

Not really the Hotel's fault but the Taxi situation in Hermanus seems to be very limited. Forget Uber, the local companies are good. Also, the whole town seems to go to bed at about 8 p.m., lots of restaurants still open though, just very quiet streets.

Exceptional

The friendly hotel staff allows for early bag drop off. The room is actually an entire apartment located above a mall in the city center. Clean rooms with comfortable furniture make this place as cozy as home.

I liked everything about the hotel.

Perfect accommodation to visit Hermanus without having to bother about transport.

The location is very central and allows guests to just get out and walk to restaurants, cafes, and bars around in the village. The apartment was spacious and clean.

Availability of some little snacks or breakfast food (e.g. crackers, biscuits, cereals) would have made the stay perfect.

We had a great time

The flat was amazing although it looked a bit different from the pictures, the location is amazing.

There were issues with the lights in the flat, one bedroom light could not switch off at night aswell as the on suite bathroom light

Nearly great

Comfortable bed and spacious shower

Kettle fixed to wall. No tables by seating area. Lack of basic cooking items such as salt, pepper and oil Oven didn't close properly
