Wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte und ein rundum sorglos Paket haben möchte ist man hier genau richtig!

Die ruhige Lage und das freundliche Personal lassen einen richtig ankommen im Urlaub! Der Strand direkt vor der Türe und die Anlage ist super gepflegt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und es wurde, wenn gewünscht, alles vom Hotel aus organisiert (Ausflüge, Taxi,…).

Das WLAN ist funktioniert nicht konstant.

Nasz najlepszy hotel na Sri Lance. Cudowny nowoczesny obiekt położony nad samym oceanem. Zarówno śniadania jak i kolacje wspaniale! Personel spisał się na medal, pomocny na każdym kroku, byliśmy wspaniale zaopiekowani. Z pewnością wrócimy przy możliwej okazji i możemy zdecydowanie polecić Serendivi Resort Villa! Tutaj można naprawdę wypocząć 😊

We had a great, peaceful, enjoyable, relaxed stay !

The staff Nilanka & Farees were very friendly, competent & helpful. They managed all the daily duties! Thank you to the two of you! The cook prepared us some delicious Sri Lankan food - also with red rice (as we wished) . The manager especially organised us dark toast bread. The free usage of bikes is nice and the pool was used daily ( beside swimming in the ocean) . So thanks for all !!

The black heavy chairs at breakfast & dinner with this (leather?) coating made us feel quite hot. Why not arrange these nice airy local chairs with the woven sitting surface? And maybe put 5 additional clothes hangers for people who stay longer than just one night? We got them immediately when we asked for them - by the way

Incredible! Would reccomend to anyone and would love the opportunity to come back.

Beautiful design, remote with what felt like a private beach and small and cosy as there’s only six rooms. Special shout out to Nilanka and Farees (and the chef) who were superb, from welcoming us, to pretty much catering to anything we wanted. They were so kind and friendly and definitely made our stay - the service was outstanding. Next, the food - absolutely DELICIOUS. Some of the best food we’ve eaten. They were so accommodating, and asked us what we’d like to eat, and nothing was too difficult. It almost felt like we had a private chef.

I wish we could’ve had easier access to the beach/that it was more usable, however it was still lovely to be able to go for sunset walks.

Le personnel était super serviable et agréable. On était accompagnées par Nilanka et Farees qu’ont été infatigables avec nous.

On a eu un jour de pluie mais on a pu quand même profiter des locaux.

Lovely villa and great accommodating staff

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were wonderful and the food was exceptional. We have been to many resorts and villas around Sri Lanka and would definitely come back here again!

Wifi was not available in the rooms but we enjoyed our stay so much we didn’t really miss it.

Just an amazing experience!

Everything was just amazing! My partner and I were the only guests for 4 days. We got the half-board package which included breakfast and dinner. We are vegan and the chef accommodated us very easily -- and the food was amazing! The room view is stunning. The shower is really good. The bed is super comfortable. We barely stayed in the room because staying by the pool was much better. Since we were the only guests, we could take the wifi/modem with us to the room at night and then back again to the pool area. So we had absolutely no problem with internet connection like others reported here. The place is quiet and isolated. Good restaurants are about 15-30min drive with a tuk tuk, which the hotel will arrange for you whenever you want -- visit Let's Sea if you have the chance; it's in Tangalle. As someone mentioned, the only type of alcoholic beverages they have is beer -- and you have to ask them a bit in advance so they put in the freezer or else it will be warm beer for you! So we brought our own alcoholic beverages (like wine) and it was fine to have it in the restaurant/pool area.

Nice place with serious ants problem.

They prepered special breakfast package for our 2yo son when we had to leave early morning - pancakes and fruit salad

Place have a serious problem with ants - they were everywhere - We couldnt leave any food in the room because ants were on the food in about 20 min. They even laid eggs in my eye drops and I had to throw them out. I had to disinfect whole toiletry bag because of it.

The food was incredible, the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They arranged numerous day trips for us and the hotel was so gorgeous as was the beach

Very nice

The room was amazing! Was exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable bed, amazing bathroom and spacious room. The breakfast was good as well. Plenty of food and a nice variation. The pool was fine too and since there are not too many rooms the common areas were not too busy. Excellent service.

The Wifi was barely working in the common areas and not at all in the room. There was also not really any atmosphere. The common areas were very basic. That's why we thought it was not really worth the price. You can get much nicer looking accommodations for cheaper. But the rooms were amazing!

secluded wonderful small place at a picturesque beach

beautiful pool side, directly at a very very long beach with no people around, so super relaxing - nice breakfast and dinner, friendly staff

Quiet and relaxing, would stay again

The food was very good, and the staff was friendly and solicitous. Our room was spotlessly clean (including the concrete floor, which isn't always the case in some places). They allow pets and our indoor cat was very comfortable in the room. The staff even asked if they could make her something special. The swimming pool is lovely. When it rained we enjoyed the satellite tv--they have a better satellite package here versus other places we have stayed in SL.

The wi-fi was a problem the first couple of days, but this was fixed when the manager arrived and gave us a router for our room. There is no internal intercom in the rooms so it was sometimes difficult to contact staff when we wanted to order food or had a question. It rained a lot, and as a result, at night, insects swarmed the outdoor lights and beetles found their way under the door into the room. A door sweep/gasket/seal would address this issue. This is a small detail, but we have found it is a very Sri Lankan thing to not put an extra roll of loo paper in the bathroom, requiring guests to ask for more when every place outside SL would already have it in the bathroom. It's annoying, to say the least.

Serene pool, great staff and facilities

We had a great time at Serendivi. This place is about 30 min drive from the centre of Tangalle, so a little out the way, but the benefit is that there is peace and quiet here. Rooms are well equipped and bathroom is finished to a high spec and design detail, we loved the rain shower. The location is stunning, the sand is fine and clean. The beach is very wide too. There isn’t much to do in the area, but the hotel serves fantastic food, so there is no need to venture out. We recommend the seafood platter, but you must order in advance to make sure chefs get chance to source all ingredients during the day. They offer free bike hire too, we cycled to the nearest village - it’s so safe on the roads here, very quiet, hardly any cars or tuk tuks. Staff are really looking after you here, from chefs to the main reception, nothing was too much trouble. We’ve been able to check in early and check out late.

I made a recommendation before we left to invest in a filtered water system to reduce plastic waste. We stayed in other boutique and luxury hotels in Sri Lanka and it’s common to offer filtered drinking water supply instead of plastic bottles. The room wasn’t made up on the first night, so we had to ask for toiletries refills twice, as shower gel comes in quite a small bottle. It would be nice to have a stack of clean beach towels outside, so we could help ourselves.

Best property I had ever stayed in

This property is one of a kind. One of the most uniquely designed properties I have ever seen. Wish I could have stayed for longer as everything about this property was so lovely. The rooms were spacious with a balcony with direct sea view. The bed was so comfortable. The food was very tasty and we could not stop eating :D
