The location was beautiful. The local staff where amazing so helpful and friendly. Food was good although breakfast could have been hotter. Plenty of menu choices. Good evening entertainer.
This is an older property built over 3 levels with lots of stairs. The shower is over a deep wide bath there are grab rails. So be mindfull of this if you have mobility issues. This should be mentioned on the website.
The first room we where given was dark and dingy and had major air con issues which took 4 trips to reception to have resolved. We where eventually moved to another room which was lighter and brighter. The toilet in this room need attention twice. Both rooms had grubby upholstery and in both rooms the sliding doors where hard to open and close. Room was advertised as having a balcony which was only big enough to stand on.

We absolutely loved our stay here at the Holiday Inn in port villa. It was our first time visiting Vanuatu and we had an absolute blast. The resort by far exceeded our expectations and it had everything we needed. The staff were an absolute highlight, so friendly and gave recommendations on places to visit etc. Paul, Mary, Jane and Belinda were amazing at reception and David and the team at the pool hub were fantastic! So many activities at the resort and we loved the on-site Catamaran and Melanesian night!! We just arrived back home and are already looking to re-book. 10/10

All facilities are great. Staff are all wonderful especially the GM who took control of our delayed flight in sorting our entitlement with the airline.

The staff are incredible! So friendly and welcoming, always extremely helpful. Great kids club that exceeds expectations.
The rooms and facilities are getting a bit tired however the fact that the staff were so good made up for it. We stayed at a 5 star in Vanuatu that didn't have staff as great.

Good location, amazing views and great facilities. Room had all the basics and was very comfortable. Stayed here after a cancelled flight and it was amazing. The staff and service were impeccable. After a disaster of a holiday it was nice to end on a wonderful note.

Following the dual cyclones of “Judy” and “Kevin”, we were evacuated to the Holiday Inn Pt Vila.
The care and attention we received from the staff and management, Randy and his wife was impeccable.
Highly recommended.

Dirty old and tired hotel. Pool had danger hazards and wasn’t regularly cleaned. Food was always 1hr late. Promised GF food and they couldn’t provide it.
Staff never gave you what you asked for. Staff were extremely slow and seemed confused at times.

-good location, close to city centre and airport
-the overwater villa was quite dated and lots of repair needed: sliding doors out of rail, outside sliding doors bolted and unable to open, blinds not opening and closing properly
-even if it was an overwater villa, there was no access to the balcony over the lagoon, hence you are just inside the villa
-it is quite far and troublesome to go to the lobby, restaurant and pool from the overwater villa - you need to ride a boat or call a bus to pick you up and drive you to the lobby

Large resort with large pool relatively close to airport location
The entire resort has been let go a bit over covid. The whole place is looking a bit run down. The pool has green edges and the staff are all undertrained. It was very obvious which resorts retained their good staff on over covid and which ones fired everyone to save money, and now cannot get competent staff now they are trying to get started again.

The staff are very friendly and try to help where they can. They are still recovering from covid I guess so they had a lot of new staff in training which was fine. They are all willing to learn and do their best.
The continental breakfast was amazing!
Highly recommend the Melanesian nights the experience was excellent.
The pools were quite dirty and needed a good clean.
When checking in we asked for our rooms to be together, they advised that they were together. Went to our rooms to find out there were on the same level but not near each other. Took over an hour to sort out.

I liked the location, magnificent scenery overlooking the lagoon. The staff were very friendly, very polite and happy to help.

Resort's territory is very beautiful and safe for staying with little kids. There are kids areas - sand pit, kids' splash pool. The Resort 's staff and managers are extremely friendly and helpful. The beds in the room were SO comfortable. Very clean Resort. Room cleaning service is great. There is a place to play beach volleyball. Free unlimited internet. In the room- a mini-fridge, an iron and an iron desk, a TV.
Overpriced food in the Resort's restaurant 😒 the quality and taste of the food is not worth of pricing 🤷♂️ The Resort needs the investments into maintaining of the air-conditioning system, changing the filters or even installing a new mordern air-conditioning system. Kids are eating free only☝️ if an adult is eating. There is no Resort's shuttle from and to the airport.. There is no safe entry to the ocean from the Resort's territory. You can't swim in the bay.

bar staff could not make a cocktail, whole place needs an upgrade. one washing machine was working for the entire hotel. breakfast was not the usual holiday inn standard. cook making the omelettes was incredible. room was musty unless room was left open to air.

The venue was beautiful and the staff members were easy to deal with. We enjoyed using all the facilities from the kayak, kids pool area and never had any issues arranging a driver as they were always readily available. Rashmi the Manager there treated us like family and often came to chat with all guests individually during breakfast which gave the venue a sense of family.
We wish we had stayed for longer.

It was quiet and we stayed in the overwater villas which were roomy and private.
water activities were good - free to use kayaks and sailing boats.
Staff didn’t seem overly friendly and often flustered. Simple things like ordering water for your table, had to keep asking. Drinks didn’t turn up and food was a bit bland and over priced. We had to get a van to and from our villa and the road was terribly bumpy, need maintenance on the road.
Location - needed to get taxi everywhere as the hotel didn’t provide shuttles for guests.
