Best stay so far and would like to come back in the near future

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were superb. Facilities are world class.

The beach must be cleared of rocks.

Exceptional

It’s very relaxing and so much things to do.. Our one bedroom with pool is super nice and clean . I also like tha staff there they are so accommodating and friendly helpful to us. I would like to go back again. And I highly recommend it.

The restaurant our food too long to serve we dine there for dinner but we lost almost appetite because of so slow giving our orders and too long to serve that’s why not hot anymore. The Pangit we ordered subrang alat super. And even for the drinks super long to serve even we asked this many times for only 1 glass of ice tea because my partner needed it so badly bcos of his sugar drop but still it takes too long to serve and btw they are so many staff at the resto and the resto is not full but us only and in the other table inside

We enjoyed most the water activities. Not only the jet ski but also the resort offers water aerobics , water polo and soccer. The staff in charge of recreation were all great and accommodating. We had a wonderful time because of these activities.

The restaurant at the Milll. I find it poorly managed. On our first night - we tried the buffet dinner. We made a reservation for it. We were a group of 13. It was only 7pm and a lot of food was not refilled. We have not even started eating when we asked - there were 3 food that needed to be refilled. It took the kitchen to do it for nearly an hour. The tuna panga was refilled after nearly an hour and after us bugging the server about it. The refill was also very little that a lot of people was in the dinner and were all waiting and complaining. The chicken curry was never refilled and instead replaced with fried chicken. It was really poorly managed. The kitchen was not prepared on that Sunday night buffet dinner. It may be a Sunday but there were a lot of people. The restaurant was not ready to accept those people. If there was a supply problem - they could have been honest and not accept more people for the buffet. On the second night dinner - we opted for aka carte at the Mill. Our reservation was at 7.30pm. We wanted to order some from the Tarictic menu - we were discouraged by the staff as the wait was 50 minutes to an hour and a half. However - it did not really matter. We ordered from the mill menu - and this is not an exaggeration - we waited for nearly 2 hours ! There were a lot of servers. The restaurant was empty - only 2 groups were there. - that’s our group and another. None of the waiters or servers came to update us. We had to call them to the table to follow up. The servers were just in their main station. Once they took our orders - none of them came back to tell us to update on why it took forever for our food. Same with our drinks. One of our orders came as all of us are done with our dinner. I talked to one of the servers to cancel it as we were already done with our dinner - and of course it was never cancelled - poor communication too ! A very bad experience and really poor service.

Delightful with a few things to improve

Friendliness of staff The cleanliness of the villa The villa was absolutely gorgeous House keeping was immaculate. I personally loved the spa experience! The staff were very skillfull i cannot recommend enough! I prefer not having to interact and just relax and enjoy the calm and quiet during my session and i like how the staff was cognisant of that.

There's room for improvement in terms of staff professionalism. Not saying they were bad, but there is an opportunity to be excellent. Overall our stay was very relaxing and good, but there are a few things that can make things more seamless, expected from a luxury hotel/resort. We enjoyed every meal we had there but perhaps serving warm plates in the restaurants and more food choices that can cater to international clients Train staff to engage in small interactions like asking the clients how there food was, or how their day went etc. I think these personal touches can really make a huge difference in terms of client experience. Luxury hotel/resorts facilities are almost similar everywhere but what I personally remember and will make me come back are the experience the staff has made me feel! Their warmth, kindness and those small talks. The place needs more buggys (all electric i hope) to cater to its growing clientelle, and needs a system in place for booking rides. On arrival my family enjoyed the cold towel and beverage welcome, however, I personally think the music/dancing on arrival was quite unnecessary. I would prefer a calmer welcome to set a tone for a relaxing holiday, but this is a personal preference. Also on arrival, we noticed some things floating in the sea that did not belong to the sea, however the staff was quick to do a clean up. There has to be consistency to this because the sea there is alive with pleanty of corals and fishes. The beach for me was the biggest downfall, I know DTLP is a young resort but hopefully in the future we get to see a longer shoreline where people can do walks and hang out away from each other. Scrap the minibar leave the fridge empty for guests. People see them as money-making traps. Most people would prefer to drink in an actual resort bar with a bartender. Overall, our experience was still very delightful! Kudos team Dusit!

Amazing staff, not so good Thai food

The service is amazing! Amazing staff, service and smiles never dwindled the 4 days we were there. Great facilities, good food!

Food from the steakhouse was pretty good, but the Thai food from the main resto wasn't. I know, ironic. I was warned by a friend but it was still disappointing.

Our stay in Lubi was superb, because the staff were well trained and the facilities was great

We got the villa with two bedrooms and a pool. It was superb, clean, and spacious. The activities and the facilities that the guests can do in Lubi were great. The staff were all well trained and hospitable. Food is good, but could still be improved a little, overall, our family had a wonderful time in Lubi

Food may be improved. the beach at the back of our villa facing our pool could be developed, so that guest will not have to go to the main beachline if they want to have a dip in the beach.

Awesome and fun for Family!

I love how the staff know exactly what to do. They made the trip very comfortable and fun. They are quick and are very accomodating. I especially love all the indoor and outdoor activities they offer. We had so much fun with the karaoke, fish feeding, and the indoor games. The room is comfortable and clean!

The food is a bit pricey but was expected since this is a high end resort.

Overall, it was great and fun, the firedance was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We like the location, the facilities, the staff were friendly and accommodating and were apologetic when we had complaints. The management was considerate to allow us to extend beyond the check out time at no add'l cost except for the boat ride back to the mainland. In addition, the tour with Don was very educational and relaxing.

We did not like the DJ at the pool who ignored several requests from visitors to turn down the music volume esp from those dining at the restaurant right in front of the pool. The pizza we ordered (3 small ones) took more than 1 hour to serve from the burger/pizza restaurant.

potential to be amazing, a beautiful location and for a remote island it is great. but it’s not a 5 star resort.

the variety of facilities is great and the sea side villas are beautiful. had lots of fun playing tennis, table tennis, pool, darts, karaoke! the staff are very friendly and helpful - but often slow, even though it wasn’t busy during our stay.

there is lots of construction still on going, which doesn’t make for pretty viewing. the thai restaurant was shut, so the options to eat were poolside or the burger bar, both of which have limited menus. the steak on the first evening was not good, especially for how expensive it was. the wine took 25 minutes to come out, even though we were the only people in the restaurant. when it came it was off. the spa is not a spa, it is a small room with 2 massage beds in. both the indoor and outdoor showers flooded when used sadly.

Celebrated my bday extra special!

Overall experience was great! We booked for 2 nights, the staffs were very accommodating. Celebrated my birthday, the staffs made my day extra special because of their surprised bday complimentary cake with bday song. There are lots of amenities to choose from! And they are free!!!Thank you so much! Definitely will go back and book again! ❤️

The weather was inevitable, it was raining in the morning and then suddenly mr. Sun went out, and rained again at night . The beach was a bit rocky and not that clear due to the previous rain according to the staff, we haven't got the chance to experience the free snorkeling. But all in all it was a great experience.
