Overall, excellent customer service at the Royal Harbour Resort, despite the dated facilities.

Waterfront views & fully equipped room with kitchen

Furniture was slightly dated; bed & pillow did not provide too much support.

We enjoyed the lovely views of the harbour and the walking distance to the town.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed the view from our room and how well the suite was appointed.

Noise from the street. Fireplace didn't seem to be working. Wifi was very spotty.

It’s a relatively modern, fun, cozy, hidden gem. Would definitely stay for longer if I could

I enjoyed the space and layout of the room; comfortable and open

There was no cell service in most of the suite. What did have service was poor. Wasn’t able to get a reliable wifi connection from the listed servers. Guessing it got me to stand at the window more and enjoy the view. Good marketing ;) Layout for entrances takes a bit to get used to.

A pleasant Spring getaway & visit with my son & his GF!

Good value, great location, walking distance to Thornsbury's downtown so to speak with restaurants and bars and a full kitchen in which you can make your own breakfasts, should you wish to lounge. Recommended to bring your own coffer and other supplies, kitchens are equipped but modestly. If you insist on 5-star and modern, you will not be satisfied. The units are large and very functional but a bit outdated in terms of decorating. Staff was great as were the pool and hot tubs. We will return, with better understanding of how we can better utilize the facilities.

It lost marks because it did not have any coffee to supply guests for the coffee makers on-site. It meants Timmie's for us the first morning until we bought our own supplies. The resorts says it usually does have coffee supplies, however, I recommend bringing your own, regardless. Coffee makers are the older types with paper filters.

It was a clean room with a nice view of the lake. It had a nice kitchen with some appliances that we could use during our stay.

The wifi was not working in the rooms; only outside the room and in the lobby the wifi was working. Our cellphones also didn’t have strong signal inside the room so even we couldn’t use our personal data. They had a TV but it was not working and it was giving an error that it needs to be updated through Rogers. So in general it was boring because it was a rainy day and we were planning to watch a movie but there was no way there: no wifi, and no well functioning TV and poor signal in their location.

Cozy with full kitchen

Everything was perfect, Deep pool about 2 meters half if it and hot tub were excellent and clean.

Breakfast on site would have been perfect.

A Great place to stay.

The people are great. The room was clean and the location was great

No elevator. The heating and air conditioning units were very old. The internet was spotty at times.

won't be back

The price for a 2 bedroom suite was good. We got it on sale, would have been really upset to pay full price for this experience. The location is really nice and the view was beautiful.

The staff was unhelpful and rude. The receptionist was lazy and didn't want to help us. We had to switch rooms twice. The first room was dirty, the second room, the fire alarm kept beeping and it took them 7 hours and 4 complaints before addressing that issue, which they couldn't fix so we had to move rooms at 10:30pm. The lady that finally helped us with the room was pleasant, but at this point we were upset. Hot tub was disgusting, and pool was freezing. The resort is very dated and really needs an upgrade.

Beautiful and clean

The cleanliness of the rooms, the view of the lake and seeing the sun shine on the water, having everything we needed in the kitchen available like utensils, cups, glasses ect, my family and I had no complaints.

Not a major issue but since vacation is about going out and having fun, coming back after a long day and relaxing infront of the tv with family is also crucial. I wish the tv had the option to screen cast (connect your phone) or have utube or netflix. The wifi was also slow at times and would drop alot

Great facility which is hard to get rentals at as it's mostly timeshare booked. Great location/staff

Well we made our own excellent breakfast in the included kitchen. Well appointed room and the staff were excellent!! They helped us add an extra night on and matched the original price of our other nights!

The pool was way too cold! Even with a good temperature hot tub near by, the pool was too cold to enjoy for long! Thank goodness there was a hot tub!!!

Location and size of suite was good

Property interior could be updated. Bed and furniture tired. Fireplace did not work. Wifi was non existent. Kitchen was well stocked with a dishwasher.

Mothers Day getaway

Everything about the location and property was amazing if your looking for a quiet getaway with the family.

30 minutes on a pool booking system, time runs out quick but the staff is amazing enough to book your family in a open time slot again if available. They try their best.

Lovely spot to stay

The location is wonderful. The room is specious and the kitchen has almost everything you could need. Staff is super nice and helpful.

My room had an updated but still needed a bit of a refresh (water leak spot down one wall, spots painted over where the colour doesn’t match, etc).
