Hotel Woolstore 1888, Sydney - Handwritten Collection

Clean and fresh feeling. a bit quirky in room design fitting it into an d Woolstore was well done

Breakfast service was slow and we wondered if we would get what we ordered as staff were not convincing they got what we ordered

The building it self. The location to the CBD and light rail

N/A

The hotel is in a gorgeous old wool store which has been cleverly converted. It has a great ambience, the room was very comfortable and well supplied. An excellent location near Darling Harbour and close to the Light Rail.

The window did not open.

The staff were beyond lovely and helpful.

Unfortunately that fire alarm went off at 4am in the middle of the night. Which understandably is not indirectly their fault. However none of the shower rooms in the building had fans and the fire alarm went off due to steam from someone’s shower. An issue that 100% could have been avoided had the hotel installed fans in the bathrooms. Considering the costs of the rooms, I would expect fans to be implemented to fix avoidable issues that cause massive stress for everyone in the building.
