The staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel is reasonably central to downtown, Gastown and Chinatown. The parking garage across the alley is very convenient.
e stayed here for the "suite" - two beds in separate rooms. Technically true, the second bed takes up the entire living space and the tow rooms share an opaque "window" that lets light in. That meant that it was difficult to let one person stay up reading when the other one went to sleep. Also, no night light in the bathroom meant a very dark trip to use the facilities in the middle of the night. Parking is very expensive.

We got a corner room and the view was amazing. We just stayed overnight before a cruise, so we did not get to experience all the hotel and its grandeur. We got there late in the afternoon and left in the morning The hotel was like a 10 minute walk to the cruise port in the morning. That was awesome!
We ordered breakfast from room service. My wife did not like French toast, it was a little mushy and burnt on one side. I would say that was our biggest complaint.

The rooms are clean.
It’s very expensive for a hotel that is located at the edge of an area that has lots of drug addicts. The breakfast was unimpressive and meagre. One English breakfast tea bag, no dressing gowns and no extra towels is not expected when paying so much.
