Built in 1898, this classic two bedroom house retains it's original grandeur with mature gardens, vaulted ceilings throughout, double parlor and Red Fir floors. Not your average vacation rental, this house is exceptional in every way. The attention to detail and quality will be a memorable part of you wine country experience. Among the homes cache of treasures is are bouquets of glass flowers suspended form chandeliers, and an eclectic mix of over one hundred years of chic include contemporary, Asian, Victorian and Art Deco furniture and fixtures. Settle in with a book in the library, soak up the sumptuousness in a bath, unwind outside in the gazebo with a glass of Napa Valley bubbly or meet in the parlor and revisit the pleasures of conversation. A short drive to St. Helena Hwy and just a 10 minute walk up historic First Street to the heart of downtown

Loved this historic house. We could walk to downtown as well as hope on the highway north to other activities! Carefully restored and decorated makes it a lovely place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stoddard Home. The house is very nice and the garden is lovely. About a 15 minute walk to town. We walked to town each night for dinner. Would definitely return.

We enjoyed staying at the Stoddard House in late June. The location was very walkable to downtown Napa, and convenient to 29 to jump up to Yountville and other Napa Valley villages. Excellent host and accommodations.

This house has character and charm. From the wood floors to the seating area in the backyard. You can spend time away from the house to enjoy NAPA, but don’t overlook hanging out with a glass of wine and your family/friends at this amazing location.

Clean, beautiful, and awesome location. Beautiful front and back yard with covered sitting area in back and several areas to lounge. Inside home is beautiful with unique character and so many rooms to spread out! Walking distance to downtown Napa! Highly recommend!

The Stoddard House is an absolute gem! It delivers on every point - historical past, glorious gardens, great (walkable!) location near downtown Napa! And then, you enter the home to find sumptuous linens, dreamy bedrooms, and the most perfect breakfast nook for morning coffee! Cannot say enough good things about this place. It is truly the highlight of our fabulous girls trip to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. We will certainly return to this magical property!

We loved our spring stay at the Stoddard House with its beautiful gardens in bloom -- roses, hydrangeas, camelias. Lots of seating areas indoors and out to enjoy food and family time. Charming cottage home and convenient location to walk to town.

We were so impressed by this home. The photos on the listing were lovely, but do not do the home justice. It was much larger than we expected and had a great open layout for 4 of us.
We contributed 4 martini glasses to the cabinet… hope future guests enjoy!

This home is so beautiful inside and out, I wish we had booked a longer stay. We were able to walk downtown for dining and shopping which was so convenient. This is the best house for 4 guests to enjoy Napa and the surrounding area.

This place is beautiful. Historic yet modern. High ceilings. Vintage touches. On a busy street but set back to be really peaceful. Updated HVAC - both worked great. Highly recommended.

The home is charming, well maintained, and clean. I found the bed and linens very comfortable. The location is ideal, just a 5 minute walk to downtown Napa. Jason was a responsive host to a few issues that came up and he resolved them quickly.

I loved this property! Not only was the property location so convenient to downtown, we also had plenty of room to have a BBQ with a few of our family members who live in Napa. It was quiet at night so we slept great and the host supplied many necessities!

Perfect base camp
It’s a privilege staying in a (guessing) $2M historical home. Plenty of room and all of the necessities are there. One exception is the laundry is the laundromat in town. Probably doesn’t effect most folks but we were coming off 5 golfing days in Oregon. Walk to town was easy and plenty of good restaurants nearby. We bought dinner at Whole Foods one night and that was super easy after a long day. Try to get a reservation at the CIA in St Helena for dinner - it’s fabulous.

Wonderful stay
We really enjoyed our time on Napa and the house was fantastic. Very clean and neat. Our only suggestion is to have some mirrors in the bedrooms. Thanks again

Gorgeous historical home!
What a beautiful and relaxing stay we had! We spent a lot of time outside in the courtyard enjoying wine. The home is stunning and my only advice is that the photos be updated to really show off how gorgeous the home is! The photos do not do this place justice.
It was in walking distance of downtown yet still very quiet. We would love to stay again!

The house was luxuriously roomy and accommodated our small family. Enjoyed the comfortable living room for game nights and the nook for breakfast. Everything was clean, easy to use and comfortable. Bedding and towels were extra nice.
