My husband and I agree - this property is one of the main reasons we return to Charleston each year! The location alone makes this a perfect spot, but the owner and housekeeping staff ensure that absolutely every detail is in order for a delightful getaway. We have stayed in numerous short term properties over the years (this one several times) and this one is by far the cleanest, most well-equipped and beautifully appointed of them all. The owner has ensured that the guest feels warmly welcomed and is 100% invested in our experience in Charleston! Our experiences at this property have contributed to us falling in love with Charleston!!

I can’t say enough about this home! The location is in easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, sightseeing. It is beautifully furnished in a warm, southern way. Little extras were already there when we checked in so we didn’t have to run out for soap or tissues, etc. The bedrooms were luxurious and bathrooms were modern and spotless. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this again on a future trip to Charleston.

As others have mentioned, it is located in an almost perfect spot. We used our car only one day to go a plantation, otherwise we walked to all other outings (restaurants, pubs, city market, museums, water front, shopping, etc. The house looks like the photos, no disappointments. It has one of the best stocked kitchens we’ve stayed in. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but enjoyed the patio area for morning coffee and evening wine. Checking in and out was great. We definitely would stay there again if we ever make it back to Charleston.

We had an incredible stay at this VRBO! The location can’t be beat - we were just minutes away from amazing food and fantastic activities. The home was a great space to cool off and relax without feeling crowded. The beds were very comfortable! We would absolutely stay here again!!

Our family has stayed at the Belmond several years in a row and we took a chance to stay at Lodge Alley. We were a bit concerned at first, but Lodge Alley delivered. The location was amazing, in fact, it was better than Belmond. Sharon & Tom are quick to respond, the property has everything you need and again, it's so close to all of the places you'll want to see in Charleston. This was a such a beautiful clean relaxing environment to spend our "down time" in, over our 5 day stay in Charleston. We were a group of 4 (2 couples) and parked our cars once unloaded, never needed them the rest of our stay. We walked everywhere, did tours, enjoyed the restaurants, shopped and took in the wonderful Charleston Vibe. We were thrilled with the location and comfort of this wonderful VRBO property. During our "down time" we played games and visited with our dear friends. This property far exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend!

This property was better than expected. The location is close to everything. Multiple parking options nearby. Beautiful courtyard for happy hour. Very clean and beautifully decorated. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen looked well-stocked. Everything about it was great.

Beautiful townhouse on a big courtyard near great restaurants and shopping. We walked everywhere we wanted to go and enjoyed the warm and welcoming spacious townhouse to come back to. This home is in a prime location. Walkable to the market and on the doorstep to great restaurants. Parking is the only issue in the neighborhood- could use an enforced loading/unloading area

Everything about our stay was perfect. This was our first visit to Charleston and the property’s location was perfect and the townhome just stunning…impeccably furnished, clean and comfortable in all respects. The parking garage a block away worked great for us as we only took our car out once during our three-night stay. The owner’s restaurant suggestions confirmed others we’d received. What a wonderful house with extra special amenities, comfortable beddings and touches. Great outdoor courtyard, excellent food and drinks around Charleston, location of house is superior! We actually parked the car on Wednesday and didn't get back in it until Sunday! Great memories.

Excellent. I rarely leave reviews (good or bad) but this place was exceptional. Clean. Beautiful. And the location couldn't have been better. It's smack dab in the middle of all that Charleston has to offer... shopping, world-class restaurants, the Market, the waterfront, carriage rides, walking tours, you name it... Sharon, the host, was helpful and kind and gave us the best inside scoops on the nearby restaurants. Especially the recommendation to hit the bar at High Cotton for their Espresso Martini's. It was the perfect end to our busy days. We had a great stay!

This beautiful property is our favorite place to stay in Charleston! From the amazing location to the gorgeous furnishings, this villa truly enhances our visit to one of our favorite cities! The owner has thought of every detail to make a stay both comfortable and luxurious, and the unit has been absolutely pristine on each of our multiple visits (we are pretty persnickety about cleanliness and order, and the condition each time has exceeded even our tough standards)!

The home was very nice. The furniture and art work are beautiful. It had everything you need; even the kitchen drawers were completely stocked. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the home. On top of all that, I'm not sure you could get a much better location. Top restaurants were within two blocks of the home. 6 people can sleep there, but I recommend only 4 so that you can enjoy the family/living room completely and at all hours. I plan to return here for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming home. The location is fabulous, we were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The home is clean and well-stocked with all of the necessities. Two spacious bedrooms - it slept the four of us comfortably. We will definitely come back, and cannot wait to stay here again.
