Nestled in Anchorage, this lovely house for $450 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. After a break in 2022 for upgrading the floors and some furniture, we have made the house available for our guests to book for 2023. Location: Our house is in the midtown area of Anchorage, in a community on Tudor Road, one of the major streets in town. It is within a few miles to everywhere. The first time we saw it, we fell in love with it by its convenient location close to the University of Alaska, hospital, well-known Anchorage Botanical Garden, and an easy access to local restaurants and shops. The Backyard: At the back of the house is the Reflection Lake that offers a full view to the living room and a huge backyard deck. The summer sunset takes quite a few hours and one can enjoy the sunshine on the deck even after11 pm. Frequently you can see kayaks or canoes drifting and ducks splashing water for fun. The First Floor: Here you see the eating area, the kitchen, a powder room (a half bath), a French door to the deck, and of course the sitting room with a large window overlooking the lake. You can choose to have your breakfast either on the deck under the pavilion or at the eating area inside while enjoying the lake view. In addition, an electronic baby grand piano is available for your use. You will also see a smart TV in the sitting room. You can login your own accounts or use available Amazon Prime videos to watch movies and other TV shows. The Second Floor: we have three bedrooms upstairs. Two bedrooms face East, and one faces South; each is bathed in a plenty of sunshine. Spacious and airy, the Mater Room has a king-size bed and an En-suite full bath. The Guest Room 1 is smaller with a queen-size bed; the Guest Room 2 also has a queen-size bed. Opposite to the Guest Room 2 is the second full bathroom in the hallway. All rooms are very clean, eye-appealing, with comfortable bedding. There are TVs in the Master Room and the Guest Room 1. At the loft on the second floor, there is a big TV with Amazon Fire TV cube, easy to find and stream all your favorite shows, movies, sports, and more. Prime has been purchased and is available for watching movies and shows. If you have accounts with other channels, it's easy to log in too. The loft area is a place that you can relax, watch TV, and hang out in the evening; children particularly love the place. Opposite the loft area is the laundry room where you can use the washer and dryer. Feel free to use the facilities; detergent, the ironing facility is provided for your convenience. Seeing is believing; you're welcome to stay at our property and you will surely enjoy your morning and evening at the house when you return from the daily exciting trips in Anchorage or close-by areas.

Everything in the house is very dated and the kitchen was not clean. We never used the deck because it was very dirty. The owner was very nice and friendly and the location is great, but I would not recommend.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. We were in Anchorage for 9 days. This property is centrally located to everything in Anchorage. The house is comfortable and clean. We had 5 people, the youngest of which was 13. Everyone was very pleased with our stay. There was plenty of room for us to spend time hanging out together The kitchen is well equipped. We cooked in about half the time. The owners were wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay here again! One note, all bedrooms are upstairs so keep that in mind if you have anyone with mobility issues.

My family of 5 needs two hotel rooms when travelling, but even then the 3 kids complain for sharing a hitel room. However, everyone loved this property as it had plenty of room for all of us. We were pleasanrly surprised with a deck in thr back opening to a lake. Wife and kids loved their stay and wanted to spend more time exploring Achorage from this conveniently located townhouse. But alas it was booked on other days of our travels. I accidently left a pair of clothes, which Jason graciously got cleaned up and deliverer them to my hotel room on our return leg. Overall, a great value for money, enjoyment and relaxation. This will be my #1 choice to stay on my future trip to Anchorage.

Excellent spot for a family of 7. The place is awesome and the back deck is fantastic for relaxing with my morning coffee. Close to the parks too (with a great view of the mountains). Everything was clean. Would highly recommend

We stayed three nights at Reflection Lake after hiking in Denali NP. It was exactly where we needed to be. Everything was beautiful in the house and it was well supplied for our needs. We were a party of four so I would suggest adding a few dinner plates for a group larger than six but that is a very minor suggestion. Annie & Jason were swift to respond to any questions. Their instructions and directions were thorough and easy to understand. Very kind and helpful people. We enjoyed resting & reflecting as we overlooked the lake. The washer, dryer and dishwasher worked great. We will definitely stay again if we return to Anchorage.

Very spacious. My wife and I had the king bed(the mattress was a little too firm for us but everyone has their preference). My mother in law had the queen room. Our son was in the office and daughter in the tv area upstairs ( no tv on the main floor). Everyone was very comfortable. Only downside was loud trucks and some neighborhood traffic was a bit loud when trying to sleep.

A quiet, comfortable home with all you could want. I worried a little about mosquitoes with the lake but there was no problem. We were able to really enjoy the outside area. Communicating with the owners was easy as well. We would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this lake house. Needed some time to relax and this was the perfect setting for that. The owners greeted us upon arrival and made sure we were comfortable. We used the house as our base for exploring Anchorage and Matanuska Glacier. But mostly we just enjoyed the evening on the back porch watching the lake activities, mostly ducks. Found the neighborhood to be safe for morning runs and the kitchen was well-stocked. Thanks so much Annie and Jason.

We stayed for 2 nights and used it as A base to explore anchorage and girdwood. The property was clean . Jason and Annie were very responsive to our questions and concerns . The linen is well stocked and available . The kitchen is well stocked with spices . My only suggestion would be to add a couple of non stick pans and ladles but otherwise well stocked kitchen . The location is very convenient and is a quick ride to downtown , museum , tony knowles trial starting point etc and the Seward hwy .

We spent 2 nights here in beautiful warm weather. The back deck overlooking the little lake is lovely...we spent all our free time out there. Everything in the house is as advertised. There were 6 of us and the beds were very comfortable...even the futon bed, which is not always the case with those. The location is handy to town and to the airport...in fact close to the flight routes, which made it noisy now and then. However night time sleeping wasn't affected. Annie was very prompt and gracious in returning any text messages that I sent. All in all, a great experience and we would totally recommend this property to rent!
