Situated in The Villages, this lovely house for $227 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Welcome to Mutterhaüs. This well-cared for home home located in the Village of Amelia offers peace and relaxation while only a short drive to nightly entertainment at Lake Sumter Square. If Mutterhaus is not available, be sure to check out its sister, Ruhe Haus, in the Village of Collier (VRBO # 1776354). A 2019 Yamaha gas golf car, 4-seater with USB phone chargers is included with the rental - a value of over $200 per week. The back seat also drops down to allow for easy grocery transport when not strapping in golf clubs. Also included are two Resident Lifestyle passes - saving you $50 - and the ability to obtain additional guest passes at no charge. Well-decorated and maintained, the home has luxury vinyl flooring/tile and lovely, cordless window shutters throughout. Amenities include stainless steel appliances, Keurig coffee maker (and backup large pot coffee maker), blender, mixer, baking utensil, and an ample supply of high quality dishes, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, and cookware. Other amenities include a BBQ grill, wi-fi, cable TV, and Smart TVs with voice remote in the living room and master bedroom. Beach towels are provided for days at the village pool or the beach. This home also has a portable crib/playpen, high chair and infant swing for families with very young children. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a walk-in shower in the master bath. The guest room is a queen-size bed, located off the hallway and which can be closed off from the living area with a sliding door. The third bedroom has a futon couch that pulls out to a double bed, with all bed linens and pillows tucked away in the closet. This is also the office with a desk, printer, and office supplies (pens, pencils, clips, etc.) There are also several board games and puzzles to enjoy. In addition to the living and dining area (sits 6), the home has a relaxing, enclosed sun room and a screened porch. A great place for coffee in the morning or an after-dinner drink. For long term rental of 30 days or more, the renter must be at least 55 years of age. Pets are welcome with prior approval and an additional $150 cleaning fee. Pets must be on a leash at all times when outdoors, and pet owners are responsible for picking up after th eir pets. For your and your canine companion’s enjoyment, there are several dog parks in The Villages. NOTE: Absolutely no RVs, trailers, or boats can be parked at this property. Maximum of three cars. Also, this house is regularly rented to guests with pets. Please keep that in mind if you have allergies.

This in my opinion was the best location to explore The Villages. This location allows you to go north or south in the villages!!! Definitely we be looking to rent again next year!!!

We have been using VRBO since its infancy in the mid 90's. You can tell immediately when an owner has their "act together." Never spoke directly to Joni, not because we're unfriendly but BECAUSE WE NEVER NEEDED TO! House is beautifully decorated and as well-supplied as any we have rented. Everything was in good working order and we enjoyed the flexibility of the golf cart at our disposal. Thanks, Joni, and keep up the good work!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and clean home. This is one of the nicest VRBO homes we have rented and we would definitely stay again. It included a golf cart which we didn't get to use since our friends picked us up every day and took us places. We had so much fun discovering The Villages. We can't wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mutterhaus. The house was beautifully decorated with all updated appliances. The location was great for getting to the squares, restaurants and shops. Joni does a great job of keeping the house in great condition. We enjoyed meeting and talking to many of the residents in the Villages. Everyone made us feel welcomed. Will be looking to return in 2023 & plan on possibly moving there in a couple of years.

This property is exceptional. The 3 bedroom 2 bath home is fully stocked and impeccably clean and we were so comfortable from the first moment. We lacked for nothing. The decor is charming. The host Joni gave us her personal golf cart when we had a slight problem with the one provided and she handled our requests promptly and graciously. The central location is convenient to all amenities and is very close to Lake Sumpter Landing where shops and restaurants surround a lovely town square. We would definitely rent this lovely home again. Thank you Joni!

We rented this beautiful, spacious and well appointed home for almost a month in the late spring. We had a golf cart at our disposal, big kitchen for cooking, washer/dryer and an office space for the few days I needed to work. It’s a comfortable house and 15min golf cart ride to Sumpter Landing for the daily entertainment.

Our stay was perfect from check-in to check-out!! The location was convenient, house was immaculate & well-stocked with everything you need (incl spices). The beds and common seating areas were comfortable and furnished with quality furniture! The golf carts were a bonus although we didn’t use them very often. We look forward to staying here again!!

This is a great home. Really nice furnishings throughout the house. The home is well equipped with dishes and cook wear. We have plenty of supplies in the kitchen including spices. Paper products were also there. Bedrooms had comfortable mattresses and plenty of extra pillows, sheets and blankets. A golf cart was included, which my son loved riding around.

What a beautiful functional house. We normally stay in Orlando but needed to be in lake county for family event. So glad we choose Joni’s house. It was so clean and had more then enough of the essentials to last us our whole stay. She was so quick in answering all our needs and very accommodating. Definitely choose this house!!! The golf cart was such a hit. We went to get ice cream every night.
