We stayed just one night, soaked both on arrival and early next morning. Had a wonderful time, room was nice, check in was quick and super friendly. Also did a spa massage which was amazing and had breakfast in the cafe which was decent.
Only complaint was check out was at 10am which is super early in comparison to many other resorts however I would definately stag again and look forward to the new additions.

The room was not up to standards for the rate I was chaged for the room, I am not sure how they can justify charging $625.00 a night for the room. It was probably a $150.00 a night room at best. It was not a deluxe room by any means. It smelled like it used to be a smoking room and the room next to us had someone that was coughing all night. When we got there and heard the room next door coughing we asked if we could get another room and they said no they had nothing. At checkout we asked if they could adjust the bill for the room they said because we booked through Expedia there was nothing they could do. So in the future I will book through the hotel direct in case I am not happy with the room so they can adjust the rate, unless Expedia can make and adjustment on the charge for this unsatisfactory room. I hope you can help with this and give some sort of credit, we paid for a deluxe suite and it was not worth rate charged at all.

This is an amazing place to come and experience mineral baths at their finest. The different pool temperatures and designed protocol for utilizing them was exhilarating, we did the cold plunge part 3 times. Everyone was helpful and friendly. They keep the pool area super clean.

We found it confusing upon arriving at the resort as to where to check in. Signage was not very good and with construction adjacent to the property access was hampered. Long walk from parking to front entrance with luggage.....no valet or doorman available to assist.
Dinning was not available for dinners...had to drive to local restaurants.

The setting is lovely, well situated on the river. BUT, it’s way over priced for the accommodations. The rooms were outdated, more like a motel. I suppose they have a captive market so they can gouge patrons at $400 per night, $50 per hour for late check out.

Great location, 1 star motel. Obscene price for the facility. Will not stay again

The room had a tag to put on the door if needed of replacement for towels .we put it on door and no towels were changed or trash taken out like a reg hotel stay.we were told to take dirty towels to front to trade for clean ones . 1washer for the whole resort knowing the waters are dirty you would think they would have more the ice machine room was so hot and the drinks in the cantine are expensive and not very tasty it was 24 for 3 lemonades frozen that went bad right away plus additional charge for canolope by the L area food and drinks are separate charge

Good: Proximity to the soaking pools. Property well maintained.
Not good: Ugly view of a construction zone outside our window. High-priced.

This will forever be one of the greatest trips I have ever taken. I had the pleasure of staying at The Springs Resort and Spa and having the most relaxing and rejuvenating time reconnecting with myself. The Springs Resort staff is top notch and the property was breathtaking with beautiful views of the San Juan Mountains, the San Juan Riverwalk and the cute charm of Pagosa Springs. The wellness activities that were offered at the resort during my stay are a core memory made during my time at The Springs. The forest bathing hike with Kelly delivered the most beautiful views and an amazing connection with the mountains, trees and nature. Aqua yoga in the hot springs with Kelly was another incredible experience I had the pleasure of doing. I followed that class up with Aqua Sound Bathing with AJ. I’m so grateful that I was able to attend this class, the connection with the springs, the sound vibrations and being in the present was exactly what I needed to kick off an amazing day at the springs. I also attending restorative yoga classes, a roll and recover class, a restful recharge class and the gratitude ceremony led by Will who was also an amazing guide through these practices. Kelly, AJ and Will made it feel like you were spending time with an old friend. These classes were the icing on the cake to my time at The Springs Resort and Spa. On top of all these amazing activities I also was able to spend some time at The Springs Spa. Again another incredible experience.

Everything was AMAZING! The staff was so friendly and the areas around the property are all so great! If you get the chance to stop at Root House for a cinnamon roll, do it! if you get the chance to eat at The Rose, do it! Take a dip in one of the hot springs pools at 2 AM, JUST DO IT! The experience was so great! We came with our kiddos, definitely family friendly!

Beautiful resort.

The "resort" is okay but overpriced compared to a similar resorts across Colorado. The hotel itself is fairly common stucco with general hotel furniture and decorations anywhere in the USA. The pool has public access, and therefore gets inundated by day users. The bed was extremely hard and our "luxury" King suite overlooked the parking lot. Aside from the river, the views of Pagosa are unimpressive, so overpriced for a shotty view. Would not go back to this area for a vacation getaway. Too many other nice resorts in Colorado for the same rates and fewer Texans.

Terrible room. Curtains were to small for the windows and there’s an odd third window with no curtains at all, so the the parking lot lights kept us awake all night. Dirty floors in the rooms. No AC or heat, had to open the windows (that’s right the windows fully open, no child locks so keep an eye on your children.

The pools were wonderful! The staff was awesome! The only issue I had was that I reserved a junior suite and when I arrived I was in just a regular room which was disappointing.

Old and tired! This property just feels old and not updated. The shower was tepid at best with very little pressure. The on site breakfast was in building with zero ambiance. The hot springs were nice but the prices per day pass was $17.00. We’ve stayed twice and while will visit Pegosa Springs again not at this old over priced “resort” used the term very loosely!

I liked having fresh spa towels and robes whenever we liked. Front desk was amazing. Loved our stay!!

Loved our stay at The Springs! The room was clean and we appreciated the free water bottle, discount for the cafe, and that the beach towels and robes were already in our room.
The hot springs are such a great place to relax. There are several pools with varying temperatures, so it’s easy to switch between them to find something you’ll like. I really enjoyed contrast bathing, where you soak in the hot springs and then go into the river. I was nervous that it’d be too cold, but it felt incredibly refreshing.
If you want to get a service at the spa, try to book ahead as they did not have any availability on the day we asked.

I have never been here before and the springs are amazing. I do feel though that it was all very overpriced and no perks were offered for hotel.com gold members. We paid over $540 a night for a very basic room and then there are fees are on top of that. Also, check out time is early, 10a.m. We have a generous travel budget and travel extensively but would not stay here again for that price, just seems over the top.
