Clean, nice property. Friendly and helpful staff.
They helped me to clear the snow on the driveway and he did come to look at my car and showed me the driving modes. I was able to get to the town. I very much appreciate their help.

Great property and friendly staff. I just wish the cabins floor wasn’t so sandy/dirty.

It was awful check-in experience. We got there at 11pm PST last night and no one was there as they close office at 5. They sent me a text message to confirm my visit. I was In Yosemite and was out of network so couldn’t get the text until I reached at Mammoth but the network was very weak. I couldn’t access the link they sent along with the text. I had to spent 2 hours around the resort to find someone or to call someone.
If they have this standard process of asking us to register via text then they should have mentioned on the property details.

The cabin we were in ( cut throat after the trout) was recently nicely remodeled and is great. There is a small armoir not much room for suitcases.

We stayed here for a family reunion. Our group booked several cabins of different sizes, so we had a nice combination of spaces for group gatherings and privacy for sleeping--a nice feature since we ranged in age from two to eighty years. The facilities are beautifully maontained. The restaurant is truly amazing.

Water supply was completely shut off in the middle of the night. Water supply suddenly stopped in the middle of showering, that was the most terrible experience. No water to flush the toilet, we couldn't use the bathroom as well. Called the emergency number over 10 times at mid-night, call center staff only recorded our request, no status update, no response, and no action to fix the issue. No on-site staff to look into the problem. Problem was eventually fixed the next day. Equipment failures sometime happen, hotel management should have a good communication channel for customers to get help, but this hotel failed completely in this area. Other than that, the resort environment is good. Areas are clean and well maintained. Cabin condition is good, looks like newly built structure. Our stay could have been excellent if there were no water equipment failure.

The cabin was everything we anticipated and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern. The resort is 20 minutes from Main Lodge and worth it. We’ll be back.

Cute cozy cabin, very clean and had a full kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Onsite restaurant is amazing and convenient - make sure to book a dinner reservation there.

This property is off the beaten path and alrhough is it near Mammoth Lakes, in the winter and particularly this winter, the road to this property is pretty snow bound. While I was able to get there because I have a great car for snow, a Tesla Model Y, I would not recommend this to most people.

The tiny cabin had everything we needed. It was super clean, cozy and warm. The heater worked great in an extremely cold day. We loved our stay.

We chose Convict Lake Resort as a peaceful alternative to staying with the crowds in town. It is in an extremely beautiful setting with the lake and tall mountains. The cabin itself was nice and had all the amenities we needed. The layout was perfect for two adults and a child - one king bed and one twin bed. The kitchen was definitely useful with coffee pods and a full size fridge. We will definitely stay here again!

Convict lake is a beautiful, quiet place. The Mountain View and birch trees are gorgeous. The cabin is small but cozy with enough amenities. Kitchen is a plus for us. Great customer service. We left a computer charger behind. The staff quickly figured out a way to send it to us. Will come back again.

Super friendly staff. I had a little trouble trying to call and E-mail but they were very friendly and helpful in person once we arrived. We will definitely stay here again. The cabin (Lochloven) was absolutely perfect and clean and they had the heater on for us before we arrived which made our night! Thank you again for an awesome stay!

1. Sofa Bed is terrible, impossible to sleep on it. So this cabin is good for only 2 adults.
2. We requested extra blankets which was not provided.
3. Although the thermostat is set to 65F, the cabin felt quite cold all the time.
4. The store hours are too short, by the time you finish your day activities and come back, the store would have closed.

The location is very remote with great views of the surrounding mountains. The cabins have a nice feel and I loved staying in my small cabin. The one big downside is the extremely slow internet, especially since there is poor cell phone reception in the area.

This was a nice place to visit. Decent landscaping and the cabin was very clean. The restaurant was very expensive but understandably so. I just wish there was another eating alternative for dinner. The lake was incredibly beautiful and the hikes were easy. We’d definitely go back. But, not before exploring other areas.
