Great option for a family stay in Florence. Convenient central location. Apartment was spacious and clean. Would be nice to have paper towels in the kitchen, and additional trash bags.

Property was in a prime location. However, communication with the host was not great. I requested a valid WiFi password multiple times and never got it. The shower drains in both bathrooms were very slow and there was a bad smell in the apartment.

Great location in Florence near the river, literally with restaurants right and left of the main entrance to the apartment. We had a family of four stay here for four nights and were very comfortable. All historic sights, shopping, the train station, and restaurants are a simple walk from the apartment. No car was necessary. The apartment is on third floor, and like many older buildings it is stairs only to access third floor. Would stay again based on location and amenities.

Miranda was a very helpful-, friendly- and amazing host. I received in a very clean and beautiful apartment. It's like the pictures, maybe even slightly better. The place is located in a perfect place. As it's away from the noisy streets, everything is in walking distant and there are many nice places around. Lola also recommended many good places. The apartments was very nice; it's quit and it's clean. A perfect place to recharge after a long day of walking through museum's and through the lovely city of Florence. I, for one, will definitely come back and will most likely pick this place again as it met all expectations Thanks for everything

We had one big negative in that we didnt get an email day before or day of our arrival which made communication re key hand off difficult. We were traveling from the US but we are very connected and didnt get any messages. Apt was fine although it requires walking up 3 long staircases (with all our luggage!). But it was a good place to stay and provided a good dining space for a fam meal.

The positives: -excellent location -good price -good kitchen -good mattresses The negatives: -numerous light bulbs burned out -lights on nightstand with nowhere to plug in -scant lighting in upstairs bathroom -showers were very small; one shower head barely worked -couch was in bad shape -some family members got bug bites -you're dealing with a large management company; not a local person

Very well located appartment at number 4 of Via del Parione, very close to Tornabuoni street. Please note that the appartment is on the 3rd (and last) floor, without any lift. The equipment of the apprtment is quite simple and not so modern : no curtains in the bedrooms, broken vacuum cleaner, leaky kettle, no corkscrew to enjoy a chianti, no wine glasses. The shower on the 1st floor deserves a renovation. You can hear the noise from the street. Nevertheless, the appartment has a so great location and space that it enables to enjoy a wonderful stay in this marvellous city.

This was a beautiful home and very convenient to many things! There is a gelato shop right next door and several good restaurants! Alessio was very thoughtful and left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy! I would highly recommend his home to stay!

Posizione eccezionale, parcheggi a pagamento a 1 minuto. Ampi spazi nell'appartamento. Unica nota andrebbe rinfrescato un pò e sistemati alcuni dettagli. Resta una location da consigliare.

GROSSE DECEPTION sur cette location... si la localisation est parfaite, l'appartement a besoin d'une sérieuse rénovation, les photos ne reflètent plus la réalité d'aujourd'hui … certaines prises ne fonctionnent pas, le compteur disjoncte, la douche à l'étage est capricieuse, les murs et les escaliers sont sales mais encore moins que les radiateurs, le canapé est inconfortable et il reste, dans la cuisine (?) un fauteuil défoncé... la machine à laver est en panne alors qu'avec cinq personnes elle était indispensable et sa présence avait été déterminante dans nos critères de sélection… quant à l'accès, il faudrait être sérieux et préciser le nombre de marches des trois étages et leur raideur ! nous avions réglé 10 € pour pouvoir prendre l'appartement à notre arrivée à 14 h… mais le ménage n'était pas fait … pas de véritable contact sur place car la location est gérée par "sweetstay" basée en angleterre, donc … toute réclamation doit être faite par mail… et aucune réponse ne nous a été adressée sur les points négatifs signalés durant le séjour, notre demande de dédommagement n'a pas non plus été prise en compte… le prix est donc prohibitif, pas du tout à la hauteur du descriptif … à éviter … ou à louer en tenant compte de ces remarques…

Sweetstay is an awesome host with a prime airbnb location. The place is clean, very big, comfortable, with a typical florentine style, no issues with anything in apartment. When we visit Florence again, we will definitely try to stay here again. Sweetstay team welcomed us and helped carry up luggage since it's a walk up. On day of departure they helped carry our bags out and helped order us a taxi. Wonderful host, thank you again.

The stay at Sweetstay's apartment was very pleasant! The communication with them is excellent, we felt very comfortable in every sense! The apartment was very clean and the beds are extraordinary comfortable! the space is huge! It is located in the very centre of the town, nonetheless the apartment is very quiet. We can highly recommend this apartment!

Our experience. Booking on VRBO was easy. When were about to arrive after hours of travel they said the apartment isn’t ready and not cleaned yet. We were then met by a very nice young man who showed us the apartment. He said “don’t mind the smell as it is the Florence sewer and just let the water run to push it down.” From there he said that the linens were folded on the table so that was a good sign it was clean. Overall: 1. It was so dirty it was hard to deal with 2. The TV actually doesn’t work, have an outlet or cable 3. Had hardly any usable dishes and of those there, they were dirty. No wine opener, basic coffee mugs, maker or anything. 4. Most lights were burnt out 5. The floors were so dirty it was disgusting. We walked momentarily on the floor and our feet were honestly black with dirt. There wasn’t even mops that were clean enough (most had mildew) to even use. 6. My children were coated in bug bites in the morning everyday. The list honestly goes on. Pros: location was superb. Very walkable to all areas. Multiple fantastic restaurants very close by. Overall, I would never go back or recommend this place. It was dirty, damp and smelled horrible of sewer. Very few of the items they said had actually worked. We would have requested to leave with our money back but it is doubtful that would happen and they had a 250 euro deposit. Find a different place that is actually taken care of.

The check was fairly easy. Lorenzo met us at the door and was very kind and helpful. However, the place itself was very underwhelming. Not as pictured. Dirty, dusty floors, old sofa and pillows, sparse and dark overall. Bedroom upstairs had burnt out light bulbs, shower was dark, shower head had little water pressure. The sink didn’t drain properly and left grainy like dirt in sink once drained. Not good lighting for makeup. Toilet paper doesn’t stay on toilet paper stand. Most outlets didn’t work throughout the place. Lacked basic amenities and comfort. There were Mosquitoes in the upstairs room or some sort of insect as I have bites all over my arms and face. My friend had issues with bugs as well. We really wanted to like this place as the location was perfect. But unfortunately it was a real disappointment. I would not recommend this place.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Andrea’s place and I love it. I will keep coming back. It’s the perfect home base for exploring Firenze. It’s super clean, bigger than it seems, and I love the morning juice and snacks that is offered for breakfast.
