Our party of 5 adults had a 3 nights stay at the Eagle Nest at High Timber. Overall, the townhome was clean. This property has 3 stories with a garage on the first floor. There is also a bedroom with a bunk bed on the first floor. We did not sleep in that bedroom as it was very dark. The rest of the 2 bedrooms and a den are on the second floor. Perhaps it was the location of the townhome, the second floor bedrooms do not seem to get a lot of daylights. The kitchen, dining and living rooms are located on the third/top floor. The top floor has a very spacious kitchen and beautiful view overlooking the ski trails at Breckenridge. If you have problems walking up and down the stairs at a high altitude, this maybe an issue. I must admit it was a bit tough for us with the stairs as indicated in other reviews. On our second night, there was a malfunction with the carbon monoxide detector on the second floor outside the bedrooms. It was beeping every minute. I texted the property manager and she responded promptly. We were told to unplug the detector for that evening and were promised it would be fixed the next day. No one came the next day to replace the carbon monoxide detector. This could be a health hazard for the guests. Since we were leaving the day after, we did not bother to make a big deal. It has a few of us worried without the carbon monoxide detector working properly. This is something the property manager should pay attention to.

This property was just right for our family of 10 to get away and relax. There were plenty of beds, plenty of seating both in the living and dining areas, and also ample space for privacy when needed. Check-in was easy, check-out rules were very simple. Property managers were very responsive if anything came up.

Great location, great view and very clean place, overall excellent!!!!!

Decent place. Not over-the-top. Across the valley from the slopes - so does take a drive. I wish VRBO would require posting all fees. This is another case of “you think you’re getting the whole cost quoted up front” and then you get to check out and find “it really wasn’t the price”. I think VRBO should require true apples-to-apple pricing comparison.

Wonderful townhome. Stairs were hard with the 10,500 altitude the home is at. Plenty of rooms and lots of blankets. Kitchen was well stocked and even had some spices. Breckenridge water never tastes good so be prepared to get bottles.

Great place to stay, very accomodating with soaps and detergent etc. Loved having board/card games to play.

We had a wonderful time, the house is beautiful and the host was very accommodating. The pool was great and we enjoyed the fire pit, BBQ and the pool table.
Our stay was great! We hope we can come back soon and enjoy the house again.

The only thing that was good it was the location. The condo was so dirty I couldn’t even stand it. I tried to clean it myself but the vacuum cleaner didn’t work. I texted the property management they didn’t do anything. The pictures are so not real. Very disappointed.

Amazing View, and very short drive to Peak 8!
This place was phenomenal, and Sandy and Karla were extremely helpful with all of our questions. As an Airbnb super host, I have high expectations with the places that I stay. This location met all of my expectations and more. There were more than enough sheets, extra pillows, extra blankets, silverware, plates, cutlery, etc.
They were wonderful boardgames, there was wood for a fire, and there is separate heating units in every room, which makes it very comfortable. Could not recommend this place more if you are staying in Breckenridge.

Great couple of nights in the Breck Mtns
We were lucky to book here since the calendar shows it’s usually full. We had a trip for a school activity in Colorado Springs later in the week, but took some local friend’s advice and went to the Mountains for a few days. We traveled with a family of 4 and had a couple friends meet at the house before headed to Main St in Breck and Alpine Slide. The house was great with plenty of room and well stocked. The altitude change was real for us. We packed portable humidifiers that we used but saw a big one in the house too. The views of the Breck slopes were incredible! We definitely stay here again.

Breckenridge Ski trip
Had a wonderful time in Breck! The property manager was very helpful and responded fast. The townhome is a little smaller than the pictures show but there is still plenty of room and was clean. Would recommend you bring a 4x4 vehicle as road can become icy and difficult to leave or park. Overall a great experience.

Great place
We enjoyed our stay in Breck, the view from the townhome is beautiful. We had plenty of room, though there are a lot of stairs for kids we made it work! The staff was accommodating and responsive.

Eagles Nest at High Timber
Views are spectacular! Super quiet surroundings. Plan to walk up & down a lot of stairs. Allow for time to get into town...about a 8-12 min drive depending on all the other stops.

Great location
Awesome location. bus stop right outside, and lots of trails for both hiking and mountain biking at your doorstep. Home is a little old and creaks when anyone walks. And we did not have a fan to keep cool (thats just us - we are used to it). We bought a fan and left it there for other guests to enjoy. Breckenridge is an awesome area. You will enjoy this location. We stayed two weeks and loved it!

Good Overall: Clean, Modern
Our stay at Eagle's Nest at High Timber was wonderful. Got stuck with car when trying to enter the driveway because of snow. Make sure you rent a 4WD, ours wasn't. Had to call tow to get it out. Lost an hour trying to shovel(thanks to property manager Carla). A little upset when trying to reach the itrip reservation manager, she started reminding me to read the details instead of trying to find other avenues to help out. I know she was right but she could have dealt with a guest in distress in more helpful way. All in all if you are careful with car, driving, a great place to stay. 3.5 miles from the ski resort, great amenities, great view. 4 stars just because of car experience. But if you rent a 4wd, that could have been avoided.

Nice for a family with older kids...beware of stairs
The pictures don't accurately reflect the property, it feels very dark. Difficult for older people because of the 4 flights of stairs with kitchen and family room on the top floor. The kitchen and eating area is great for a larger crowd, nice view out the family room window. The bedrooms could use updating, and the kids rooms are too far from the master for families with little ones who are afraid to be far from mom. Games and movies for the whole family. Overall, fun weekend, but not as pretty as the pics show. :)

Mountains
Beautiful location, just be advised lots and lots of steps and high elevation. Have a heart condition so both of these made it a bit difficult for me. Very clean and great communication

Our stay
Nice condo. Was clean and neat. Enough room for 9 people. Quite a climb even in the car from base of Breckenridge, but view of mountains were beautiful. Close to trailhead of Baldy Mountain.

Great Stay
Excellent stay in Breck. We had 8 people and it was more than enough room for all of us. Very nice views and very comfortable home. We were sad to leave. Carla was very responsive with any questions we had, it was easy to contact her by text. The home is very close to free shuttle that can take you into the town ( Just a short walk up the street). Also, plenty of Uber’s and Lyfts to get you around as well. My group is from flat Florida so the elevation took a night to get use to, but two Advil and water and we were fine. Would stay again !! Thank you!!

The whole experience renting this condo was excellent.
The whole experience renting this condo was excellent. From the communication from Carla to all the contents of the condo were all exactly as expected. The only downside was parking which was limited to 2 cars for a place that sleeps 12 so just make sure you do some planning on that front. Other than that, everything was perfect and would recommend this spot to friends/family.

Girls Weekend
This townhouse had everything we needed, including tons of steps up and down the staircases! Beautiful view from living room. A quiet place (except for neighbors dog in the am). We hiked, shopped and ate out. A little farther from downtown Breckenridge, so running into town had to be more of a planned event.

Condo review
We loved the condo! We had 6 adults and 6 kids, and spacing-wise it accommodated everyone just fine. We do have a few suggestions however. We did not have enough bowls for breakfast each day, or eating utensils, or cups. If the condo is advertised to sleep 12 people, it seems that there should be at least 12 of these things on hand. We were constantly having to share dishes and utensils, or always washing. Also, it would be nice if there was some Tupperware or something similar for leftovers. We cooked dinner at the house each night, but had no way to store leftovers for the next day. OR maybe just some foil or plastic wrap so we could put leftovers in bowls and cover them. The kids all slept in the bunk room, which was great. But it was very dark and scary in the middle of the night for them. Maybe have some night lights on hand for the hallways, stairways or bathrooms. Other than these suggestions, we don't have anything but good to report on the condo. We had a wonderful time while in Breckenridge and appreciate you opening your home to us.

Amazing Townhome with Amazing Views
Eagle’s Nest is a lovely townhome that was able to accommodate all 12 of us. The views from the townhome were so beautiful! It also had everything we needed: full kitchen, 3 bathrooms, garage, outdoor grill. During our stay, we went snow tubing in Frisco and skiing in Loveland - both about 30-40 minutes away - so the property was relatively close to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 11 stayed at the Eagle's Nest property for our skiing vacation. It is very nice and modern with all the amenities one would want. The kitchen especially was very well stocked with everything one needed to cook, serve, and eat meals. The only reason our review isn't five stars is because we had issues with the pull out sleeper. sofa. Upon Initially opening the sleeper we found it dirty with a couple of major stains. Carla and the staff were extremely responsive and helpful. The quickly provided a new mattress cover which solved the problem. I would definitely recommend the property and the management company.

Ended up being a very nice place to stay. Plenty of seating for group meals and ample space over 4 levels for all to have plenty of space. Kitchen had all the amenities needed. Had a large group and didn't hear of many issues. Maybe one TV that didn't work but group had a good time. Had no problem getting a response from housekeeping or anyone associated with the vacation home! Thanks for your part in providing a very nice vacation trip!

I strongly recommend this rental home for a large family. We had 8 people, and we never once felt crowded. I also want to reiterate the cleanliness of this home. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms were very clean and equipped with dishes, extra towels, blankets, and pillows. My favorite part of the home was the 3rd floor family room that allowed the entire family to come together and enjoy quality time together. The house also comes with a few DVDs and games (Taboo, Jenga, and Monopoly) which we used after a tiring day of winter activities. I also want to mention that Carla texted me on the day of our arrival to ensure everything was what we expected. Thank you Carla for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Great location that overlooks the mountain. Kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook our own food. Three full bathrooms made it easy to get ready at the same time and get on the mountain in time for lifts. Very clean with cable TV, board games, plenty of towels and dishes.
