Florence and Porta Rossa Dream helped make our trip a dream vacation.

Location was great. The Rooster was great for breakfast, and just steps from our property.

Was difficult to control temperature in the property. It got hot a couple nights.

Spacious, clean accommodation

The location was great in relation to the sights we wanted to see in Firenze. It was very comfortable for our family of four. Two toilettes was a plus.

The front windows face a street that gets a lot of foot traffic until the early morning hours, 3-4am. The windows don’t block the noise well so we didn’t get great sleep while we were there.

lovely area just to walk around and see where you end up

Great location in the city centre, easy to walk everywhere, great restaurants nearby,

hard to find but called our host and she helped us out. The numbers of housing is a different colour to businesses. Also can be a bit noisy in the evening on some nights

Perfect place to stay

Location was the main reason for why we choose Porta Rosa Dream and indeed we made a perfect choice. The apartment is very clean, big, with kitchen and 2 bathrooms and the beds are comfy. We had the apartment no. 2, at the 2-nd floor and no elevator, so keep in mind to ask - not a problem for us. We ate in at the very next door to the entrance and had some good evening time.

Because is an old building, I think, was a little bit noise from outside / or inside in the night.

Poor shower pressure Was cold and could not work out how heating worked (maybe written instructions could be left in apartment)

La posizione (in pieno centro). Casa spaziosa. Self check in e check out, con codice per accesso all’immobile. Host gentile e rapido nelle risposte.

Alcune persiane erano bloccate, restando pertanto aperte durante la notte. Alcune delle prese elettriche non erano utilizzabili.

Amazing experience!

The flat is amazing! Spacious, beautiful and comfortable! Location is super!

To pay the city tax (daily) in cash at the property. I had to find an ATM to have it.

A pleasant stay which suited our expectations.

The property is well equipped, although we only used it to sleep and did not cook or do washing. It is spacious and neat and in the best location.

We struggled to find the place, as it is just a door in a street with a number. Luckily we could ask for direction from the booking.com, contact details. We never saw any staff, just communicated through app and WhatsApp, which was fine to us. The apartment does not get serviced, only cleaned before and after stay. Seeing that we weren’t in the flat in the day or cook, no cleaning was necessary.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo nel cuore di Firenze

La posizione non potrebbe essere più centrale!! Inoltre, l'appartamento al 1º piano, era molto spazioso, letti grandi e aveva due bagni di cui uno completo e il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponible

Di notte si sentiva un po' di rumore perché si trovava in una posizione cosi centrale. Non possiamo chiedere tutto :-)

Location couldn’t be better and the staff was helpful, but the apartment itself wasn’t worth the price lisfsed in our op

The location was incredible and a great sized apartment with all the amenities you could need.

One of the bathrooms was VERY uncomfortable for an average sized adult to use as the toilet goes right into the sink. The beds aren’t the comfiest unless you enjoy sleeping on a very hard surface. Additionally, there weren’t covers on the blankets which were in the closet and not even on the bed (made me question the cleanliness).

Awesome property in a perfection location within walking distance to everything!

Property was very spacious and comfortable.great space for our family of 4.

The property was fairly clean however there was lots of black hairs thoughout the apartment. Maybe needs a more thorough vacuum.it was a little bit of a turn off but other then that it was perfect. Also like many properties in Italy it doesn’t have a lift so carrying 4 large suitcases up to the second floor was an ordeal. Only saying this to be mindful when packing but this is in no way a reflection of the property itself. Property more then made up for the stairs.

We very much enjoyed staying at Porta Rossa Dream and recommend it highly to others.

The property was very well presented, very clean, generous sized rooms and well located in the heart of Florence.

One of the bedrooms is a loft and with temperatures in Florence of 37/38 deg it tended to be a little warm., but outside of that the property is excellent.

Tons of room in a great location!

The apartment was a great size. Fitted with Washer & Dryer, which we needed. A kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Both rooms were much bigger than we expected and it was generally a nice place. In order to get in we had codes, so we didn't have to drag around keys. The owner met up with us the first day to go through everything and to collect city tax. Having stayed at another place down in Rome where the beds were not as comfortable, I was VERY happy that this place, both beds were VERY much comfortable. Location was great and walking distance to Uffizi and other things we wanted to see.

I really don't have much negative things to say other than, having 2 younger children who wanted to watch TV later at night, it would have been nice to have more than 2 channels. Netflix would have been nice but certainly not a deal breaker for us - just for kids and their down time entertainment.

Excellent location. Clean and new. Spacious. Easy access. Unfortunately, the AC unit, despite being on did nothing to cool the unit during a hot spell in Florence, it was probably malfunctioning. We also could not find any kitchen utensils, like forks or knives.

great location and spacious

advertised as having air conditioning but then turns out it didn’t. Asked if they could provide a fan since opening the windows let in a lot of mosquitoes. They ignored my request.

Convenient location

Great location very close to everything you want to see and only a short walk from the train station. Easy door codes to access the apartment.

The A/C didn't work so it was very hot in the apartment. We opened windows but the street below was very noisy all night long and lots of mosquitos came in. The host said he was coming to look at the A/C but it still didn't work that evening. There isn't any silverware in the kitchen making some of the food we purchased unable to be eaten.
