This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom penthouse includes: A fully stocked kitchen with adjoining dining area, a living room with a queen size sleeper sofa for extra guests and black out draperies, and two private balconies. A master suite with a king size bed, private bathroom with standalone shower and large soaking tub, and balcony access. A second bedroom with a queen-size bed and a flat screen TV. A bunk room with twin size bunk beds and a TV (This spot is great for the kids). Washer and dryer in unit. 12 Cup/K-pod Coffee Center Free wireless internet Keyless Lock- Self check-in Elevator Lazy River 7 tropical swimming pools (2 heated seasonally) Childrens pools Seasonal Children's activities Two beach chairs and an umbrella provided in the unit for your use. Marina dock can be used for fishing or an excellent location to pull up a boat for loading and unloading passengers. We go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable: Plenty of pillows on each bed along with extra sheets and blankets if needed. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher soap, dish liquid, laundry detergent, bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner. All-purpose cleaner. One of the area’s only All Local dedicated teams. Always available if you need us. We have a pontoon boat that is rented exclusively to our guests. The boat needs to be reserved at least 24 hours in advance. The boat launches out of The Fort Walton Beach Yacht Basin. Discounted monthly rates available November- February. We had the time of our lives in Okaloosa the first week in April. Stayed at Destin West Beach and Bay in Pelican #707. Everything was amazing, exactly as pictured. Beds were very comfy. Kids had a blast in the bunk room. The only item that was not working was the dryer ~ which was fine because we weren't planning on doing any wash. Would highly recommend.

The condo itself was great and accurate as to description. I agree with the other reviews that it would be so nice to have some additional seating on the upper balcony. The Destin West property seemed to be having some maintenance issues - elevator issues (including lights being out in elevators), hot tubs not working (I think there was only one day that both hot tubs on the bay side were working - they kept alternating being broken), but they did seem to be working to address

Having five rather grown males for a family fishing trip, I wanted convenience of location and room to relax. With this condo we had both. Checking in and out was a breeze while the place was extremely clean and the well stocked. Great experience.

This condo is spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The master bathroom is gigantic. Our agent Jenny responded promptly and was proactive with communication about the condo, facility, weather and Destin / Fort Walton in general. This was our 2nd time staying at the property. Peaceful family getaway, for Thanksgiving. Easy access to beach, heated pool, and 3 hot tubs on the property. Communication was great with the management of this property. Love the local food choices in the area, we will be back!

The condo needed a bit of freshening up. One could tell it had been cleaned but still looked dingy due to outdated uncomfortable unground stains on LR furniture that we only sat on when covered with a towel. Beach chairs were unusable due to ripped frayed material they would have been unsafe. Clean beds & bathroom with working fridge & shower so that’s really all we needed. We are there for the fun in sun & this place was perfect for that. We enjoyed having excess to both the bay & ocean.

The experience was amazing. Everything that you would need was provided. This includes some beach chairs, beach towels, and pool amenities. The pool itself is awesome with a lazy river! Couldn’t speak more highly of this rental!!

The location of the property is great, but the condo needs some updating. The lighting is dim everywhere, stains on the couch, torn fabric on the barstools, trash under the couch. There were plenty of pillows, nice beach chairs and umbrella, beach towels, and kitchen was fully stocked. We still enjoyed our stay, but I’m sure guests would appreciate a more luxurious condo while at the beach.

Overall, it was an amazing week. The condo was a perfect fit for my family of 6. The only issue we have are the patio furniture was old and needs replaced. There was not enough seating for everyone. Also, the sliding glass door would not lock. But, this would not stop us from visiting again. Thanks for everything!!

We enjoyed our stay. The rooftop terrace was especially nice. We would have loved more chairs up there! You can see the gulf and the pier where fireworks go off on Wednesday. We did some stargazing and even saw the International Space Station one night.

We had a great time. The property was beautiful and had so much to do. The condo had all the necessities that we needed so we didn't have to buy paper goods, etc. However, the day we arrived both elevators in the Pelican building were broken. We had to unload all of our bags and luggage and carry up 7 flights of stairs. Otherwise our stay was wonderful!

Nice room. As someone noted, dated furniture, fridge water and ice were not in working order. The chairs and umbrella for the beach were 2 small chairs and portable umbrella to carry to the beach. Quite a hike but this time of year is hot and humid. Pools were nice. Rooftop view awesome, 1 lounge chair, 1 plastic chair, not too comfortable for 5 up there.

The facility is very nice, but unit is about ready for a refresh. The top balcony is great but with only one lounge chair it wasn't used much. The view of the bay and pool is amazing. Loved the lazy river! To go to the beach it's a walk especially if carrying much. Traffic in Ft. Walton and Destin is heavy but lots to do at Ft Walton pier across the street and the Destin pier across the bridge. Nothing is far. Crab Island was amazing. Couldn't connect with owners pontoon but can rent right behind Ricks next door.

Great place had multiple pools and a lazy river that the kids loved. Easy access to the beach and short drive to Destin that has a boardwalk with eateries and stuff for the kids. Also a short walk down the beach to a kid friendly beach bar with entertainment. Definitely will be back
