One of Crested Butte’s best houses for family gatherings, located on the north edge of town near the creek and the center of downtown, with great views of Mt. Crested Butte and the Maroon Bells. The house features comfortable, contemporary southwestern decor and handmade pine and aspen log furnishings.
The second story great room, perfect for entertaining, enhances the views and includes a large living area with gas fireplace, open kitchen with work island, seated dining for eight, a game/work area with hi speed internet access, a half bath and deck.
Large primary suite, plus two bedrooms and another full bath, on the ground floor. The front entrance provides easy access to mud and laundry rooms, and the south facing sunroom leads to the lower deck and spacious back yard.
The great room fireplace is currently non-functional, please note that it may not be available for use when you visit.
Please note that air conditioning is almost non-existent in Crested Butte. This property does not have AC.
This property allows a maximum of 8 guests and has 2 private parking spots.

Crested Butte has clearly evolved to have extremely high real-estate and property values. We were astonished that to get a place - for myself and my dad and my dog - in a stand alone house, in town, we’d be paying 1000/night. I’m grateful my dad could make that arrangement work but honestly we expected some nicer amenities for the cost. This is an older cabin with older appliances etc…all fine but maybe some upgrades like non-plastic furniture and a dining set to eat outside would be nice. The white lightbulbs were harsh on the eyes and from the downstairs middle bedroom I was awoken very early by all of the water pipes as my dad was on a different time zone and woke before me. It was very loud! The location is absolutely fabulous and very peaceful. We LOVED the quiet there, being able to walk to trails and town and the river. Absolutely gorgeous. Surprised there isn’t a porch in front of the house with those mountain views! The paper towel holder is also plastic and junk and didn’t work. I’d say for the price of this place some upgrades would REALLY make the value more worth while - rather than just the location alone! Thank you!

The house was lovely and just as advertised. Location is great with easy walking access to both the shuttle and Elk Street. We would rent here again.

The house was great. Plenty of space! Bedding was great too. Furniture in man in room needs to be updated. No comfy and was old and worn.
