The property was fantastic. It was very accommodating for my large family. Everyone was comfortable and yet we were still under one roof. Would definitely book again.

We are a large family of 24 that has an age range from 88 to 5. This wonderful lodge was able to house all of us comfortably. So many activities offered and so much space for everyone. We already booked again for next year. Wonderful owners who made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
Thankful for the memories that were made.

Wow! It is so hard to condense our fantastic trip to Estes Park to a few statements. We met family from Arkansas, Indiana, Missouri, and Oregon, somehow arriving within 30 minutes of each other. We celebrated our parent's 60th wedding anniversary while we were there. It was a house full of family. We had more than enough room to enjoy ourselves with people in the great room, playing games in the dining room, downstairs in the hot tub, or outside playing disc golf or on the playground equipment. We almost had no reason to leave the house at all.
The hosts were terrific. I had a few questions before we left about small kitchen appliances, and Carole was very accommodating, and everything worked out beautifully.
We were so close to the National Park, which was gorgeous, and the town was just right there. The elk were very active and easy to find. Seriously though, follow the rules and don’t approach them. We watched a lady walk up to a cow, and the bull was none too happy with these efforts.
If you have the chance to come here, do it. You will be delighted you did.

The property has so much do and is in such a beautiful setting! Loved staying here and Bob and Carole were so helpful pre-stay and while we were there. Would absolutely recommend this for a large party (we were 15) as we all had our own room, and yet could comfortably hang out together in the living room, kitchen, and outside areas. Fantastic time!

Full disclosure, while considering this property I thought it too good to be true. The description, pictures, and video of this property are out of this world. BUT, it’s everything it claims to be. Don’t hesitate to grab this rental, the days fill up fast!

The reviews so far did not brag enough, how great this house was. The house was close to downtown (and delicious cinnamon rolls next door), could hold 22 people, quiet and every activity a child could dream of. Very spacious and antiques galore. Stupendous view of a babbling stream in back of the house as well as visiting elk one full day-some as close as 10 feet. The. Owners who were so easy & competent to work with, have thought of everything. If you want to make your Estes Park Vacation the best of all time, this is your house!!

This home is everything that was advertised and more! Our family has had large group vacations a few years running and this house easily takes the cake as the best: beautiful, incredibly well-stocked, close to everything Estes has to offer, and comfortable and welcoming for everyone in our group. The owners were exceptionally friendly and answered all our questions. We had a dream of a stay here and hope to return someday!

Accommodated everyone beautifully. The kitchen area-living room on main floor was a truly great gathering place for our large extended family.

This house has everything!
It’s elegant and functional. The decor is so unique with amazing antiques and beautiful artwork. I discovered new beautiful things everyday. It was almost like walking through an art or historical museum. It also functions so well with 2 separate full kitchens equipped with everything you might need (including crockpots), several rooms with en-suite bathrooms, plenty of parking and soooo many amenities.
We enjoyed the pool, playground, badminton/volleyball court, bikes and scooters, hot tub, sauna, shuffleboard, juke box, ping pong, piano, chess board table, foosball, the river, fire pit, and a shed full of equipment for so many other activities.
The location is perfect. Very near downtown Estes Park and very close to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. The town is wonderful with the Big Thompson River running along the shops. And the Park is one of my favorite places in the world with all the beautiful scenery and wildlife. The house is also very close to the town grocery store.
Last, but not least, the house is perfectly placed among towering boulders and huge, beautiful pines and aspens with the Fall River rushing through the backyard. It is just breathtakingly beautiful!
This is our 2nd time visiting and I hope to stay again in the future! Thanks so much Bob and Carole for creating such an amazing place for a memorable family reunion!

This was a great vacation spot! The house was spotless and HUGE! Plenty of space for everyone to not only sleep but have plenty of activities going on at once. The views are beautiful, the ceilings are high, rooms are all big, and overall the house is just magnificent. Heated floors upstairs were a nice touch and we spent tons of time playing ping pong in the sunroom. Location is perfect, super easy to get to main drag in Estes and RMNP. Robert was a great host and was great with communication before and during our stay. Would 100% recommend!!

We rented this house for us & our friends/family to stay in for our wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was PHENOMENAL. this house was everything we thought it would be and more. PLENTY of room for everyone, it was quiet so those who were playing games downstairs didn’t disturb anyone upstairs. The kitchen and dining rooms were perfect for our group and the living rooms were perfect for watching football games and board games. We could not say enough about this property, especially the outdoors down by the river. We plan on definitely coming back for future family get togethers in this home!

We stayed here 3 nights with 16 guests for a wedding. There was plenty of room and we especially enjoyed the games and activities they have at the house. Carole and Bob were amazing hosts and provided everything we could possibly need. They even reached out to make sure they could have highchairs and cribs available for the toddlers that were staying. The river is incredible and you are likely to encounter some elk! We had absolutely no issues and I highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Estes Park!

What a wonderful time! Bob and Carole we fantastic hosts and were so accommodating . The views were awesome and it was so calming to sit in the lodge and watch Mother Nature in all her splendor. Really enjoyed our stay in Estes Park and RMNP. Especially liked sitting and watching Fall River. Rented for my Daughters Wedding and was a perfect location for an outside destination wedding. Worth the trip and stay! This is one location everyone should experience.

Thirteen of us stayed at this beautiful property. There was so much space! We cooked our meals in the main upstairs kitchen while family members in charge of desserts baked using the lower level kitchen. We played a lot of ping pong! Charades were a favorite in the main level living space. We ate outside for almost every meal. The gem of the property is Fall River which runs right through the property. The rushing of the water lulls you to sleep every night. You can sit outside, sip your coffee, watch and listen to the River while surrounded by mountains. What a week! We will treasure our time here always. Thanks to our hosts!

Location was excellent for entry in to RMNP and downtown Estes Park. The house was fully furnished with everything we needed for cooking family meals to playing yard games. Large rooms to gather and ample space to spread out for quiet time. The hosts were overly accommodating. It was an incredible experience for everyone in our extended family from age 8 to 73! Book it today, you will have no regrets!

Our family had 10 Adults and three children below age of 10. They loved the swimming pool, Whirlpool and game rooms up and lower. Home had out door grills on both upper and lower levels. Home had two fully furnished kitchens upper and lower areas. It worked well for families that had little kids who needed special attention by their parents. All bedrooms had their own full bath areas, allowing families their privacy.
This home, lodge, is wonderfully located within a mile of downtown shopping yet far enough away for you to enjoy being part of the Mountain atmosphere isolated in the trees and right on the Fall River flowing 24 hours a day. Great for sleeping. The kids would see Elk visiting for water during early morning and evenings.
This lodge was so well furnished and we were finding something new ever day. It is also full of antiques to admire.
The hosts were perfect and could not have been more helpful if needed.
So what is the best:
Location, Location, Location!
Our family used it for a retreat for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We were able to shop and take tours of Estes Park yet keep our privacy and enjoy our family. All in one.
I can't thank the owners enough for sharing it with us for the week.

The pictures don’t do this home justice, it is beyond beautiful inside and out! We stay here for our wedding weekend and comfortably fit 9 different families/couples and still had plenty of room. We pulled into the property and wildlife greeted us and came back to visit our whole stay. Property owners were amazing to work with and they were extremely friendly. Anything we needed during our stay they had it or were quick to get it to us if it wasn’t in the home. We will definitely be back to visit and stay here again! We loved every part of our stay!
