We had a really nice day. Very quiet neighbourhood, yet close to city with bus at door. No restaurants in immediate walking vicinity (~0.8-1.0km), but that was a small price for peace and quiet.

The location of this flat was perfect as we didn’t want to be right in all the bustle of the city. The bus stop was right outside the apartment and was a quick ride to town and a corner shop was 2 mins away!
It was lovely to stay in a place that was comfortable with modern amenities. The full kitchen was a bonus for making tea/coffee in the morning or warming up food in the evening.
I would definitely consider this location again!

This building is stately and beautiful with a lovely maintained courtyard garden with pretty flowers. The apartment was beautifully decorated and comfortable for 4 of us to spread out. The high ceilings were gorgeous, tall floor to ceiling windows gave us a nice view of Arthur’s Seat as well as the neighborhood, with lots of natural light. The location could not have been better (safe, charming and very walkable) for getting around town, no rental car needed for us as we taxied and walked everywhere, while our son and his fiancé took the bus that picked them up in front of the building across the street. We quickly adapted to not having a clothes dryer, as a pulley system to hang our clothes was in the 2nd bedroom and air drying clothes seems to be the norm in that area. As obsessive as I am about washing and drying our clothes, that would not deter me at all from staying there again, I would stay in a heartbeat. We had an amazing trip, Scotland is special and beautiful, and the neighborhood was 5 stars. Our stay could not have been better. Rona, our leasing agent was very responsive while Caroline & Richard made themselves easily accessible if we needed anything. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Lovely spacious, comfortable apartment 15 mins away from Edinburgh city centre with bus stop right outside in quiet residential area. Would highly recommend and certainly return if visiting again.

Everything about the location was great. Only negative was the inability to get radiators/heat up to desired preference.

We used this excellent first floor accommodation when visiting family and friends. It’s very spacious with some great period features and very well equipped. It’s in a quiet location, has free roadside parking and on bus routes that can get you into the city in 10 - 15 mins. A local convenience store is a 2 minute walk away. Although a Smart tv upgrade would be beneficial, we would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely use it again when we return.

We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the apartment is. Very clean and comfortable with a bottle of whisky to welcome you.
The one downside is the weak shower. The shower is just a trickle and hardly gets you wet, pretty hopeless !!

We had an excellent stay! The flat is spacious and comfortable and has beautiful views from the windows. We would stay again in a heartbeat. For coffee people - they provide a French Press (and some instant). For talented coffee drinkers you will delighted, I am sure. For a less talented coffee drinker like me, even after youtube videos, I drank instant :-) But not a problem - there are a lot worse things than instant coffee :-)!!
We were there during the Festival and it was great to have this quiet and pretty area to return to after the festival crowds. We were also there during the gargabe collectors strike and this area remained trash-free
A great bonus for us was the #41 and #24 busses were almost right outside our door. So convenient! Even in the evening after the Tattoo. The buses and street were also really quiet!
Thank you! We had a great stay.

This is a stunning apartment in a peaceful and lovely part of Edinburgh. Our only quibble was the quality of the furnishings and appliances, if they had been better this would have been an absolute five star.

Everything about the apartment was great. It is a very welcoming, comfortable, cosy , safe place to stay. The location is fantastic, with the bus stop just across the road and a great shop two minutes walk away. The views from the living room windows were gorgeous. We would heartily recommend it and will certainly book again when we come back to Edinburgh.

Excellent property apart from serious trip hazard between kitchen and sitting room. My wife had a serious fall recently and was really worried about this. Some pegs needed in hall to hang up outdoor clothing, and TV was small and poor quality. But we did enjoy our stay.

Lovely property in an excellent location with large rooms and comfortable furnishings. Linen and towels of a high standard. However, there were some issues that should be resolved; dirty place mats, dirty oven and oven dishes, faulty dishwasher. Nonetheless, we would be happy to stay there again.

Perfect Edinburgh
The apartment was a wonderful place to stay to enjoy our 5 days in Edinburgh. The house is a few steps from the bus stops and is in an area with great shops, pubs and grocery stores. Walking in the door to the flat and finding a bottle of whiskey waiting for us seemed like a proper Scottish welcome. We would recommend staying at this property for a wonderful, quiet and comfortable stay in Edinburgh.

Excellent. Convenient, safe, clean, comfortable and quiet.
Everything we wanted for a City break. We didn't need the car at all. Free parking outside the door for the week. The no.41 bus (Lothian Buses are excellent) took us to central Edinburgh and from there we could go anywhere. £4 a day for unlimited journeys - great value. The apartment has high ceilings and is very airy and light. All the neccessary utensils were available in the kitchen. We had no complaints at all.

Location Provides Great City Accessibility
The entire process with Rona from beginning to end was seamless. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and its easy accessibility to and from city centre. All of us commented on how comfortable the beds were. The local store was great for adding breakfast items and late night snacks. We felt like genuine members of the community which just added to the entire experience. Thank you Edinburgh for providing a great base for our one week stay in your lovely city. We will definitely recommend this unit to all who ask

Very good
Could not give this five star's for a couple of picky reasons. Lovely flat in nice area ,free parking outside, milk and a bottle of whiskey greeted us on arrival.
Bad bits, double bed is very very firm, cleaner could be a little more attentive. The flat upstairs could be heard moving about. This said we would use it again

Bigger than you would think, fantastic apartment. A bit dated in some places, but still well worth it!

Lovely, relaxing
Wide, clean and warm flat located in quiet south Edinburgh. Drawing room, bedroom, kitchen are all well-equipped with good furniture. Also, location is very convenient - 10 min walk to Blackford Hill, and next to the bus stop for city center. I will definitely re-visit this flat next time.

Could not be better
A beautiful, classically Edinburgh, apartment; well placed for the Univeristy Kings buildings (10 minute walk), and the city (even with a bus stop right outside the apartment). It has everything you need, very comfortable and great views of Arthur's seat.

quiet neighborhood gem
what a lovely home cozy living room with small fireplace and huge windows onto the garden...2 large bedrooms that were very comfy.... the bath was large with a great shower or you could soak in the tub... the kitchen also has a large window overlooking the garden it had all we needed to make and enjoy breakfast or dinner in the flat...a small grocery is 2 blocks away and they make fresh croissants daily..the post office is across the street from the grocery and the bus stop is right outside the flat making it easy to get to town and back....we are in our 60,s and had no problem with the flight of stairs to the flat but you should be aware that there is one flight of stairs incase thats a consideration for you...its a quiet established neighborhood we just loved it and would return again...best place we stayed in the whole trip

Elegant and ideal for our stay in Edinburgh
This lovely apartment, located in an upscale, quiet neighborhood, provided an ideal location for our stay for four adults. Public transportation and taxis were readily available and a well-stocked local sundries shop was a short walk away. Booking was handled very professionally by the agent and we received a warm welcome from the owner. I highly recommend this wonderful apartment!
