The new owner, Omar , seemed to genuinely care about the property and the business, and made an effort to resolve the problem during my stay, which I appreciated.
The location is excellent, right across from the Pitti Palace.
The elevator was glitchy, to say the least, and dealing with the employee who lives in the building was not a pleasant experience, as they came across as rather rude and had an attitude when it came to addressing the issue. However, the new owner, Omar, seemed to genuinely care about the property and the business, and made an effort to resolve the problem during my stay, which I appreciated. The mattress was too soft for my personal preference, but that really comes down to individual taste.

The location was so walkable and a fun wine window for afternoon spritz and gorgeous wine bar just below. Beautiful Boboli gardens were opposite. Daily cleaning was lovely including fresh towels & new water each day.
The lift and room quite small but fine.

The property was clean, authentic, quiet with great a/c! The beds were super comfortable and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating.

+++++Location is perfect.
Staff-friendly..
Originally booked a standard room,but it was too small-you would step over your travel bags..So ,paid 200euros(for 4 nights)to be upgraded. But....It was on the top floor ,very very hot but aircon made some funny noise-hard to get sleep.
