Situated on a corner lot next to a marshfront easement with waterfront views. The main home features 4br/3ba with vaulted ceilings, working shutters, teak flooring, open kitchen with pantry, breakfast area, and French doors leading to large deck. In-law suite on lower level features 1br/1ba, fully equipped kitchen with island and a separate dining and living room area with private entrance. The house was awesome. There was plenty of space for the 8 guys we had there. Unfortunately, we didn't have power when we arrived. The host had emailed that morning, but I missed it because I don't check my email when I drive. It was fixed within a couple hours fortunately. I had also planned to grill out the night we got there, because the listing showed a grill, but the grill was in terrible condition, and rusted out so we weren't able to use it. If I had known, I would have brought my own grill. Overall it was a good experience, and I would go back.

We loved the convenience of being less than 15 minutes away from downtown Savannah and 25 minutes away from Tybee. Some reviews mention that area around the home is not desirable - that was not our experience. House is well equipped and is seriously massive. Host was very responsive. We encountered a few hiccups, which were addressed with the host directly and they handled them graciously. We enjoyed our time, thank you.

We had a great time at Shangri-La! The house was perfect for our get together, everyone had their own bed and ample room for everyone to hang out together! Thanks for the opportunity to let us stay and explore the city and have a comfortable place to come back to!

We rented this for 7 women for a girls weekend close to Savannah. We arrived to a house that does not look like the pictures. The neighborhood is run down. The fence has barbed wire on top of it. There is a shack next door that had an old trampoline, Christmas tree, trash, old lawn chairs and numerous other things all in the yard. The house itself had holes in the bathroom, chipping paint in the shower and black marker writing on the walls to go downstairs to the basement. The inside had dirty doors, most of the rooms had doorknobs that were falling off the door or paint chipping. The outside area was dirty with old porch furniture and cushions, hoses all over the yard, an old couch on the side of the house, a used charcoal bag on the ground and dirty folding table against the wall. One of the extra rooms you had to go through the garage to access it and the garage had trash, paint buckets, fishing poles, boxes, couch cushions, bottles of laundry detergent, and other trash. The outdoor area had debris and leaves all over and the landscaping was AWFUL & not taken care of. The owner laughed when i told them about the hole in the wall, black marker, etc. (which we have pictures of everything as proof!). She sent someone to “help” with the dirty wall, holes & doors but by this time we had decided we were not staying here. We booked somewhere else last minute & lost all the money on this place. The owner did not work with us to even refund the cleaning fee! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOUSE!

Overall amazing time, beautiful home, well stocked and managed. Property owners are quick to reply if any issues arise. The house is located in a residential/college area and the surrounding area is a little rundown but this did not effect the stay.

My friends and I had such a lovely time spending 4 days at this beautiful home. It is incredibly spacious, maybe more so than we realized, and clean. It was easy to Uber into Savannah daily and the property is right next to the University. My favorite part was the common spaces, the porch is perfect for sipping coffee, reading books, an afternoon nap…this home totally fits the Savannah charm!! Thank you for an incredible stay!

We had a great time celebrating our grandmother's 75th birthday together as a family. The house had everything we needed and then some. The layout was ideal for our family and the location was convenient for all. We highly recommend dinner at Tortugas Island Grille down the street.

Great experience from the beginning to the end. We didn't have any problems while staying. The property is beautiful and large for big groups. This house looks just like the pictures listed as advertised. I would definitely book again!!!

The house had an eclectic taste in decor but was definitely a topic of conversation. The furniture was low to the ground which was difficult at times for the taller members of the party. The main level dishwasher did have mold even after we tried to clean it so we hand washed everything. Overall it was a nice stay but I’m not sure if we would return.

The house is comfortable and is in very good location. Near by to all locations. The backyard is not as beautiful and clean as shown in pictures. The house has two kitchen and many appliances. The kitchen in lower level is good but the one in main level is not clean. The dishwasher was very dirty and the bowls were stinking. Everything else was so good.

Interior of property was immaculate, clean, and well kept. Exterior / yard / patio needs a bit of tidying up. Yard debris / construction debris in the yard / patio. Trees / shrubbery needs to be trimmed. A good landscaper / occasional groundskeeper would help improve the curb appeal. We would love to stay here again and discussed some recommended improvements with the property owner.

The house was nice but it was a little off putting when we walked up to the stairway because there were boards carelessly left during a renovation?? Easily could have been disposed of before we came. House was mostly well kept but there were a few small issues. I loved the outdoor space HOWEVER because of the mosquitos we couldn't use it. Screening in the front porch would make this place absolutely wonderful. We had a nice stay and there was plenty of room for our family of 8 adults (2 couples and 4 singles) It was close to the places we wanted to go -- Grayson Stadium - Tybee Island and River Street

We were 11 family members meeting up for a nephew's wedding. The room arrangement was perfect for us! The house is spacious and in a quiet area at the end of a road. We loved listening to the birds while sitting on the porch chatting. At night we found ourselves saying "Good night John Boy" as though we were the Waltons. Haha The house has that sort of feel. We would definitely stay here again if we ever get to do another family reunion there!

Seamless from initial contact till checkout. Big kitchen (plus another in basement apartment), huge walk-in closets with hangers, tons of towels and sheets, comfy beds, two living rooms (plus basement …) — plenty of room for large family to hang out. Awesome location, short drive to Target complex on Victory Drive, or to Tybee. Quiet neighborhood. We were here for a wedding but are looking for an excuse to return. Thank you, Mary!

Huge gorgeous house for our friend’s bachelorette weekend. We had a thermostat issue the first night, but the property manager sent someone out within an hour and it was fixed. We loved the back fire pit and plenty of room for us to stretch out with our big group. Comfy beds and easy to Uber everywhere. Gorgeous place!

The house is very spacious and great for large families. The beds are very low to the ground but comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with ample plates, silverware, and glasses. However the cookware is dated and limited to smaller pans (some have broken handles). The house was generally clean minus greasy stove vents, mold in the bathrooms, and mouse droppings in the ground floor in-law suite. The house was rather musty and has mold in the mechanical spaces. Once repaired, the property would be a great rental and move to 5 stars.

The veranda/porch was an amazing space to hang out. This is a three level home with the "mother-in-law apartment" on the ground level with a king and a door to the patio. The main/middle level has the master with a king and another two bedrooms each with two twin beds. The top/third level has the third king. Each floor has a living room and bathroom. The beds were very low to the ground. The kitchen needs better cooking utensils that don't bend when mixing. I could not locate a hand mixer. Plenty of towels. Host did not request us to strip beds and collect trash from the indoor bins which was appreciated. I will be returning to Savannah to visit my son and will definitely rent this home again!
