This was fabulous. Everybody at the Vila couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly; we felt like members of the family within an hour of arriving. They were generous and courteous with their knowledge, care, and thoughtfulness. I was utterly taken aback by Alice's kindness. The room was spotless and quiet, even though we were at the front of the Vila. The shower was flipping phenomenal - I felt like I was being power-washed, but in a good way. (Everybody should experience a shower like that at least once in their life...) It was perfectly situated close to the lake as well as restaurants and shops. For breakfast, there were a couple of bakeries and cafes either within a block or a couple of minutes walk. We didn't need our car, except to visit some of the attractions that were outside the Lake Bled area - and I'm sure that the staff can steer you in the direction of buses or taxis if need be. There is a lovely communal room at the back on the ground floor of the main Vila which was perfect for reading, dozing, or day dreaming, and also an attached well-equipped kitchen with a big, shared fridge where you can store your food or find a plate if you've bought yourself a little snackaroo. Loved staying here, and cannot wait to go back.
Nothing nothing nothing!

The staff were really friendly, the room was large and everything worked well. I enjoyed having use of the kitchen as I have specific dietary needs and like drinking lots of tea! The hot tub was great as well especially after a day of cycling. The location was good - a short walk to the town for restaurants.
We needed to charge our electric bikes up which was fine a we were on the ground floor - it may have been a problem if we had a different room.

Everything. Perfect location. Very quiet. Very comfortable. Hot tub was a bonus.
The shower did not drain properly. A more formal list of recommended restaurants would be helpful.

Nice old house decorated well.
Pool was not available even though the description states it would be. There was no air con in the room. The toileries provided were tiny and needed replacing.
