Very friendly courtesy staff. Super clean and the breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Lovely friendly staff, quaint hotel in a beautiful setting. We didn’t stay for long just one night with an early airport start but they prepared sandwiches, fruit and juice For us to take with us at 4:30am which was so appreciated!

Staff was very helpful from weather warnings to Northern Lights advice. Chef was excellent and he came in on a day off so guests would have a dining option in bad weather.

Such a peaceful location and I was pleased at how well maintained the parking lot was, as many other hotels we stayed at had parking lots so full of ice and slush to walk through with luggage. The room was so comfortable and we enjoyed having the ability to make a cup of coffee in room. We also enjoyed how quiet the rooms were, we felt like we were the only ones there, and yet the parking lot was full so we knew rooms were full. The breakfast buffet and particularly the waffles were delicious. This was our second stay at Lighthouse and it won’t be our last!

great view of the lighthouse. very nice rooms. good breakfast. very friendly and competent staff. very difficult to leave Iceland. but the really great hotel makes it easier. close to kef airport. ;)

Everything was great. The staff was very friendly, especially Matilda at the front desk. The Northern Light were out the night we stayed. If only we could find a way to dim down the beacon light at the light house! It made it challenging but we could still see them and take great photos.

And absolutely beautiful place. We needed a place with odd timing because of a morning arrival and they were perfectly willing to work with us. The breakfast is very good as well.

I give 5 stars to this hotel because is a very nice place to stay. 15 to 20 minutes from the airport. It is very quiet. The restaurant there is 10 stars, we had a fantastic dinner, food was amazing. The guy who runs the restaurant was very friendly. 💯 recommended. 3 minutes walk from the lighthouse, the view was beautiful!!

A beautiful area close to the airport and great spot for a chance to see the auroras ! The staff was helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Beautiful hotel with 24 hour desk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful location with little light pollution and even less if you take the short walk up to the lighthouse. We were so lucky with the northern lights but this is surely one of the best places to see them

Very close to airport - in a quiet area but close enough to the town for day trips Included breakfast Staff were very friendly and helpful Room was cleaned, bed made and fresh towels daily without asking it was nice to come home to this hotel after our long daily adventures

Good clean base

Stayed with my brother and his two daughters to celebrate his 60th. He had the Northern Lights on his bucket list and the hotel was the perfect spot and saw them every night. The staff were amazing with a special mention to Matilda on reception, who gave us some suggestions of sights to see. The rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable. Shower was hot and strong. There is a small fridge and many options on the tv. I logged into my Netflix account. The breakfast was the best thing, fruit, cereal, juice, yogurt, fresh bread, croissants, cheese, ham, tomatoes, eggs, bacon, sausages, beans ….. I could go on! Yum!! Great place to explore the south west, aurora, waterfalls, volcanos and Blue Lagoon (closed at our visit ☹️) and Reykjavík close with Sky Lagoon, whale watching and lots of tourists attractions and great food. If you’re going to Iceland stay here!

Absolutley loved this hotel. The breakfast was delicious. Very friendly crew. We arrived very late and wanted to order a drink. Ian took all the time to help us and was very friendly and social. Would 100 recommend this hotel :)

My husband and I had a fantastic 4 night stay at the Lighthouse Inn. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely breakfast. Rooms a good size and nice and quiet.

Stayed here for 2 nights, and had a great view of northern lights. Friendly staff, rooms were nice and warm in the cold weather.... and it does get cold outside! Lovely food in the restaurant inside the hotel.

A beautiful and incredible hotel! Our room was overlooking the sea and was a perfect place to spot the aurora. Gardur is the perfect location, a lovely quiet place with plenty of facilities and only 45 min from Reykjavik, 2 hours from Southern Iceland and 15 min from Keflavik. The breakfast was incredible and the hotel restaurant is a must - try the fish of the day!

From the very moment we stepped in the staff was very welcoming. Both staff, morning and evening, were extremely helpful and welcoming. They answered questions on tours, Northern Lights and other recommendations. The room was spacious and clean. We stayed in room 105. There’s plenty of parking, sitting area and a pool table. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive to the lighthouse and the town is well lit and clean. There are many restaurants and shops near worth checking out, about a 15 minute drive. Just Google restaurants near me. You’ll have many options. The only complaints the noise from the other rooms at all hours and the restaurant food is very expensive. The breakfast was good, buffet style. I would definitely consider staying there again and highly recommend to anyone wishing to find a friendly, helpful staff.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a flat tire on our second day and the staff helped us find a place to repair. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We chose this hotel to spend the remaining 3 days of our vacation near Keflavik airport. I can say that this was the best hotel we have ever been to in Iceland, and we have been to Iceland 7 times. Large, cozy rooms, wonderful staff, comfortable beds and wardrobes for things, delicious breakfast and we saw aurora two evenings. Felt at home and didn't want to leave.

We LOVED the Lighthouse Inn. The restaurant/bar is so cute and the people who run the place are super friendly and kind. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need, and the beds are really comfortable. Breakfast has lots of options and good coffee. But best of all, we saw the Northern Lights from our room!!!!!! It was so spectacular, and we were so grateful that they knocked on our door to let us know to go outside. Amazing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Iceland, especially for their first night because it's very close to the airport.

The hotel was the perfect location for a late night arrival to the island. Staff was courteous and quick to respond to any questions. Breakfast was excellant.

Loved our stay here! The staff was so lovely. The view was gorgeous. The hotel itself is quaint and very comfortable. It's close to the airport, but in a beautiful world of its own. I would definitely stay here again.
