Overall a good hotel, especially for the price point. Good off strip location, close to Horseshoe for the wsop. Enough food and bar options, easy parking. Nothing fancy but recommended for a no-frills stay.

Ellis Island Hotel was shockingly better than I anticipated. The reviews I read were solid, but aesthetically, I was unsure.
At check in the staff member I encountered was detailed, thorough, and informative. When I reached my room I was impressed. It was not like the MGM Signature I had left, because it was not a resort, however it was super clean and had as many if not better quality amenities.
I would definitely stay here again. You definitely get the bang for your buck.

All in all it was good place to stay. Only complaints are the floor was dirty and turned my feet black and it’s a bit noisy as you can hear other guests coming down the hall or in the next room. I would definitely stay there again though as it was convenient and easy to access.

As a smoker, I requested a room ground floor and near an exit, so I could step outside to have a cigarette. For whatever reason that could not be accommodated. I did not ask for a smoking room. Just a room near an exit, ground level. That apparently could not be accommodated. I was 2nd floor as far from an exit as any room could be. Check in clerk could not be less concerned or bothered.

Easy parking, nice room, good bed and shower. Wifi was a bit challenging to access but reception assisted. Location to the Strip was good and a good price.

My stay was really amazing. I was really skeptical because it was cheap but I still enjoyed my stay. I checked in late on Friday after a two hour delay so I was exhausted and impatient. The front desk staff, Carter especially, were really patient with me. I appreciated that because I had literally been traveling all day just to find out the festival I came to attend had been canceled and I desperately needed rest.

In room safe was broken. Room wasn’t serviced over a three day stay. No anti slip strips in tub/shower.

It was very good from check in to check out. Staff was really friendly. Even though i havent gotten my $100 deposit back yet.

This trip trip was in short notice and only 1 day. Room was quiet; did not hear any noise from other adjacent rooms. Basic bath amenities worked well. Towels weren’t luxuriously plush but still comfortable, soft and did the job of drying off well. Bedding was comfortable. TV had plenty of choices; sports, news and movies.

WAS WORTH WHAT WE PAID. CHECK-IN AND OUT WAS EASY. WE HAD AN EARLY FLIGHT ARRIVAL TO VEGAS AND WAS ABLE TO PARK OUR CAR AT ELLIS ISLAND WHILE WE TOURED THE STRIP BEFORE OUR CHECK IN TIME. VERY CLOSE TO THE STRIP. FELT SAFE WALKING TO ANF FROM THIS HOTEL TO THE STRIP.

This is COMPLETELY unexpected and totally unprofessional. Had we been aware of the additional expenses we could have chosen better accomodations for the same price!

I usually stay at the Rio and had never considered Ellis Island before. The price was right so I figured.. why not? It was actually really nice. The charge for a microwave is a bit ridiculous. I mean by all accounts a room should come with one and the bed was a bit firm for my liking but I enjoyed the location and was even able to take a walk to the sphere! I would definitely stay here again. It was very clean and the front desk clerk was very nice.

This is a worthy Vegas hotel. If you can get a good rate plus resort fee for under $100 it is well worth it. The short time between the car and the room i saw security every time which made me feel safe. The hotel is behind the strip but a 20 min walk will get you on the strip which is nothing in Vegas. There is free self parking and getting in and out is hassle free. There are wooden blinds instead of curtains, which i prefer. There was a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. The room was clean and comfortable and i would definitely stay again.

The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The parking lot is large and free. However, the staff working at the reception are very unfriendly and their ability to get things done is very poor. I hope they become more friendly in the future.

If you're going to a show at the Sphere, it's a 10 minute walk. Highly recommended. Room was comfy, parking is free, and food options are good. Only note - what's up with printing papers at checki in? It's 2024!

This is a great option for a tight budget close to the strip. However, hotel management is not able to be flexible with check-in times. My partner and I showed up 5 hours earlier than check-in time. We were not given any option to check-in early (not even for an extra fee). The hotel staff were adamant about checking in at 3:00 PM on the dot. Hotel does the job facility wise but it is not my top choice. It is reminiscent of an inn.

I really liked our stay in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before check in time, and they were able to provide us room. They also gave us microwave when we asked for it. And they kept our baggage after checking out. There are a lot of dinning options around. And the hotel is located in reasonable walking distance to the Strip. The only thing I got confused was resort fee. They charged us 200$ for 5 nights, but pool and other amenities weee closed. Rather than that I would recommend this place to my friends.
