Won't stay there again, views were nice once you got breath back, high altitude 9000 feet.

The view, once you got up the stairs to your room The view from the balcony was fantastic, if you could handle the smoke from a fire The fact that they had the construction people move there cars and equipment out of the few parking spots for family members after we had to complain to managment

Construction going on during are stay, and not being notified prior. NO Elevator, not mentioned. Way to many stairs for older people, not mentioned. NO AIR Conditioning, mentioned in small print at bottom of amenity's

DONT BOOK here! Read review, also don’t book because you are actually booking with VACASA. They are deceptive in their l

The location was great, they had all the necessary kitchen equipment, spacious fridge and nice upstairs bathroom. Parking is easy and it’s a short walk to both jacuzzis. Jacuzzi’s were dirty, the sauna wasn’t working but the bathrooms in the pool area were nice. The unit itself was dirty and unmaintained. ALSO I know we are in the wilderness but there is literally a family of raccoons or rats that live in the rafters above the upstairs bedrooms (there’s no other units above) they are active ALL NIGHT LONG the first 2 nights my family couldn’t sleep until I just kept my phone plugged in and played ambient sleep music on high volume to drown out the rat scuttled and noises. I called VACASA after the first night, they said they would send someone from the property but no one came and nothing happened the entire trip.

The unit was dirty, we found lots of pet hair on the couches and the space is unmaintained, the couches sink in and are uncomfortable- the sofa bed more than the smaller love seat. There are no curtains for privacy where the balcony is. The unit has no AC which is not an issue but the airflow is horrible. If you stay in the bedroom with the bunk beds the window opens to the loft but is not sufficient and designed for air flow. At night even with the interior window open and the sliding door to the porch completely open you still feel like you can’t breathe. The top bunk doesn’t have a guard rail so if you have young kids that still shuffle in their sleep a little the top bunk is a no-go. The smart TV was fine but the remote lagged, the upstairs TV didn’t work at all and its remote was covered in dust probably from it not working or being used in years. It is not a smart TV. Parking was easy and it’s an easy walk to the two jacuzzi sites. ALSO THEY DONT TELL YOU THERE ARE 3-4 flights of stairs! I would never book with Vacasa again because of their deceptive business practices. I asked if they had another unit that was easier to get into and the said yes they do but they wouldn’t accommodate because all the information on the unit is given in an email AFTER you pay and book for it on booking.com and you get 24 hours to contest or cancel the booking. (AGAIN not listed on the listing!) Also they say they are “dog friendly” unit but only until arriving did I find out that they tried to charge $100 per dog per day if you leave them in the apartment. LOL! I bet they get so many poor families with this one. Like you can go skiing with your dog. My dog was exempt due to medical reasons but CAN YOU IMAGINE NONE OF THIS IS DISCLOSED on the site that you book from!?!

Gross

Location

From the moment I walked in to start our family vacation it’s smelled like strong urine. I wasn’t sure if that was what it was until I stepped in it not once but THREE times before I choose to just wear shoes the whole time. I informed Vacasa of the situation and a few hours later someone dropped off cleaner my the door, I was not going to clean someone’s dog urine off the carpet! So gross!!! I felt like I was staying in a uncleaned dog park the three nights! I had a horrible head ache from the odor. Worst stay ever. Very disappointed. I understand dogs are allowed but with that should come professional and proper cleaning of the accommodation for others. I felt like I should not have been charged a cleaning fee because my stay was NOT clean. The carpets in very room where so gross they really should not have carpet in this unit. I also went to the store and bought my own plug ins to try and mask the smell… did not help.
