Poor value for money. Expected better.

Location to get to the north cascades is great compared to other non camping options. Heating worked well.

We could not lock the door. We asked the staff if they could fix it and they indicated they would come to look at it with a half hearted attitude (two women). Nobody ever came and after messaging multiple times still nobody came or responded to the messages. This left us feeling unsafe in the cabin for our stay and we felt we could not leave anything in the cabin. The reception area was also not open at the time it indicated it would be. The cabin was also very old and needs some updating but it is functional.

Disappointed in this accommodation.

The location

First of all the property was not as advertised on the website. It was on an offsite location on a vineyard. Which sounds good. However the second we opened up the door there was an odd smell coming out that was very unpleasant. The dishwasher was broken and there were left over God knows how old burgers on the grill. The furnishings were very sparse and the kitchenware didn’t even include regular drinking glasses. The bed was very hard and the bedding was un appealing. The biggest irritation was that the spot we were given was not what was advertised at the time on the website. When I tried to point this out to the proprietor he said that he couldn’t do anything about that. His reasoning was that we did it through Booking.com however, he still could’ve made an adjustment. He did offer a free stay in the future, but we wouldn’t have no interest in staying in the future. After checking out our accommodations we visited the website and saw that there was a new pop-up advertising the new accommodation that we were given that was not previously displayed on the website when we booked many weeks before. It was therefore not what we expected. I think the proprietor could’ve done more to give us a partial refund or at least a refund that day because we left a day early because we were very unhappy with the site.

Our goal was to be close to the North Cascades. This place was super close

I would have liked one of the cabins on the main property because ours was in more of a storage area but we did have a winery to look at so that was nice. I can't complain because I really appreciated the closeness to my destination. we have everything we needed so that was helpful too

The location was great. The idea is very cute but it needed major updating.

The smell of mouse pee in the bathroom was very unpleasant. And the place really needed to be updated. The laundry facilities were ok but the washing machines smelled of mold. Thankfully our clothes didn’t retain the smell.
