Perfect Alfama location. Air conditioning was great during the heat wave. Really comfortable and charming!

Room had an efficient layout. Temperature control was much appreciated. Water temperature and pressure were good.
Staff were friendly. The buffet-style breakfast with option for made-to-order eggs, pancakes, etc. was a good value.
Looking forward to discovering Vincci Alfama properties in other cities.

I am happy with this hotel and would stay there again. It is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood with such narrow streets that cars need a special pass to be allowed to travel there. I liked that, but I should warn you that this is not an appropriate hotel if someone in your party is mobility impaired, as you have to walk up steep hills to get there. Twice I tried to take a taxi back to the hotel and they left me 3/10 of a mile away because the streets were blocked or they were afraid to drive such narrow streets in their cars. The hotel will offer to arrange a driver to take you to and from the airport and you should take them up on that.
