Great location. Good breakfast
Realise that it is meant to be old worldly but do believe tasteful renovations could be completed. For example, brown carpet in bedroom is so old that the pattern has been 100% worn off. Gives impression of being dirty which I am sure it is not.

The house is in a great location and the staff we met were really nice.
It's obviously an old house and they want to keep it looking a certain way but I think it could benefit from some refreshment. The carpet is heavily worn and stained, the back of the sink is being held together with painters tape and a plastic bag, there's a very old fan in the room that does nothing to help the heat when it's 30 degrees outside. I understand air con can't be installed but there are definitely newer better fans available. It was £250 a might mid week so I would expect a little better than it was.
