Rooms are clean and large. Walking distance to Little Tokyo and City Center buildings. Price of rooms were only fair value.
Hotel exterior is not well maintained with litter here and there. Cost of hotel parking was $47 p/nite. Room was missing a bathroom mat.

Never offered a breakfast.
The room was comfortable
Street sirens and helicopters. Also music and noise from the next door venue.

The location and the gardens were great, the lobby was beautiful and the staff were friendly. You cannot get a better location right next to city hall and Little Tokyo, it was very nice to be able to easily walk to restaurants and bars.
The rooms are in desperate need of repairs and renovation. The room was a great size but the bathroom was dreadfully small, only one person could fit in there at a time. Everywhere is dust, furniture and door nicks, and the window desperately needed cleaning.

The rooms were comfortable and clean
There was no mention of the very expensive parking. The guests should not have to pay for parking.

The company stole my mobile phone. After the housekeeping confirmed my mobile / cellphone on site, I organised a delivery service to collect. To which reception did not hand over the phone and now deny ever having the cellphone.
Theft.

THIS IS THE WORST DOUBLETREE I’VE EVER BEEN TO! THE SHOWER WATER NEVER WARMED UP! THE “ENGINEER” THEY SENT TO THE ROOM STAYED THERE RUNNING THE SHOWER WATER FOR A HALF HOUR TALKING ABOUT “IT’S HOT NOW” BUT IT WAS THE SAME TEMPERATURE.

What i like about the property was the location. Wasn’t too far from our main event. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the valet staff was polite but the front desk seem a bit non chalant especially as far as our issue we had.
What i didn’t like about the hotel is that it was freezing cold it felt like they had the air on 50 they seem to not care when we and others complained about it! If you sat at the bar you had to be bundled up! Our room was very cold the water was Luke warm! We complained at the front desk and were moved to another room but they gave us another room that someone was already in. My husband walked in seeing their luggage’s smh. We then went back to complain to the manager of the big inconvenience and gave us another room that room temperature was better but not the water so again we had to take Luke warm showers smh. It was an awful stay. They decided to give us 25% off but i feel like it should’ve been 50 % off.

Spacious room, good location, felt safe.
It's possible I didn't read about needing to separately pay $47 / day parking; so when I found out, it was an unpleasant surprise.

Nothing was to be liked
The hotel was fully booked for the weekend, only 2 of the 4 elevators were working during our stay which made for 30 minute waits or trouble navigating the stairs to get to the lobby from the 11th floor. there were protestors on the premises every morning during our stay at 445-5am banging on buckets and blowing whistles. The protestors were even taunting the guest and yelling at the guest. There were long wait times for valet, they even forgot to get our car. our room smelled moldy and sour, there is black mold in our bathroom. towels looked like they were not washed. staff seemed unconcerned about issues we had. Check out is 12pm, I had housekeeping knock on my door at 10:30am, 11am and 1145am. I advised we were leaving at check out time. Staff rarely answered any phone calls to either front desk or valet.
