Great place to stay before heading South on PCH

Great location to stay before driving South to see Big Sur. Friendly, helpful staff, Delmonte Mall across the street with lots of food outlets & shops; great facilities in the room - hairdryer, coffee machine, microwave, fridge. Very comfortable beds. 😊

Perfect to stay in Monterey

Great location, safe, near Fisherman's Wharf and all City center locations. Easy parking. Great bead and bathroom

Great hotel, highly recommend and would stay there again.

The rooms at the Super 8 were surprisingly very spacious. Rooms were clean and bathroom spacious as well.

Comfortable beds in the King suite. Clean. Spacious room Also close to some shops and restaurants in the nearby retail park.

There was only one chair in the room... It would have been better to either put in a small sofa or an extra chair so that a couple can sit in it to watch tv or eat a meal.

Staff knocking at 10pm to get our car move, and at 8am while we are still asleep housekeeper knock by mistake “sorry wrong room!” And double charge to my account.

It was convenient to the venue I was visiting and that's about the best I can say about it.

no breakfast no maid service. Had to ask to have garbage removed. The barest of accomadations but priced accordingly.

The young man at the front desk had a snotty arrogant attitude and argued with every concern or request we had.

Way too expensive for what it is

The two-bedroom King suite was quite modern and spacious, the beds were comfortable. I would have left a much higher rating if it wasn't for the price. Good to know as it's not clearly described: a two-bedroom King suite is a big room with 2 king beds separated by bifold doors, and the two parts of the room share a bathroom accessible from both sides.

I would have left a higher rating if we hadn't paid $380 for a two-bedroom suite in a motel. The room was fine in itself, but when you pay this kind of money, you expect something close to perfection. The first big minus was shoe prints on the white comforter, and ink (pen?) marks on the sheets. But at least they changed the sheets after we told them. Everything else was rather clean. For the rest, it's all in the details: no pressure in the shower (and the shower head was too low, all of which made it quite difficult to wash ny hair), noisy heater, the hotel is on a busy road so we could hear the motorcycles roar by, we could hear the people above us walking and dumping things on the floor... Again, it would have been fine it was maybe $200 a night... wouldn't have complained. But not $380. It's ridiculous to have people pay this amount of money (no breakfast included!!) for a room in a motel that is no better than a lot of other motels which are a lot cheaper. I know it's Monterey though, and this hotel is not an isolated case unfortunately...

ok stay, but be ready for the dirt.

noise from plumbing. But mostly it was dirty. I had to clean the sink before using it. same thing with the shower. there was hair in the sunk, bathtub and on the bathroom walls. the floor was so dirty, under my feet turned black within hours. I had to first clean the bathtub so I can wash my feet. the room is pretty small for the price.

Our first experience at an INN type accommodation. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. In a nice environment, clean, well-equipped, quiet, elegantly furnished rooms. We are happy with the choice. The city center is 2-3 minutes away by car, where there are many restaurants and cafes.

Great Stay not too far from things.

Bed was comfy, bathrooms were updated, modern and clean.

Pressure flush Toilets are LOUD. You would not want to flush them at night or you will wake up others in the room.

Clean, comfortable, modern motel with lots of amenities

For a value motel it was modern clean and well appointed, my 17 and 11 year olds shared a room next door to us and I had no problem with the security as it’s all key card activated like in a larger hotel and also the door bolts inside. They loved the size of their room (huge) and two large queen beds which they said were comfy, their bathroom was big and clean too. My husband and I had a smaller room to accommodate one king bed next door and we were happy with our room too. The rooms come with a fridge and microwave so convenient if you want to save money on food and pop to a supermarket for dinner.

The location is a typical motel location so right off as busy intersection, it was fine because we were driving and the motel was quiet at night. We only stayed one night as we were driving down the coast SF-SD so it was a stop over to see Monterey and visit the aquarium. It’s not the most scenic location!

Nice place

Quiet area. Close to stores and close enough to plenty of restaurants. The staff was nice and informative. Would definitely stay again if we vacation in Monterey.

Parking wasn't very truck friendly.
