We had 4 lovely nights in Barcelona and the apartment in Gracia served us well. It was a very comfortable, clean and modern apartment and well equipped, much better and more reasonable than squeezing into a hotel room. Maria met us and was very helpful. Do make use of the buses to Pl Catalunya and the Tourist Bus (from Traverse de Dalt) as it's a lot closer than the Joanic metro stop (though that's v handy too). We found a good local restaurant, Soco, that opens earlier than most others, which was a good find for our last night. Thank you.

We loved the apartment and it was in a great location within walking distances to top attractions. Xavier was a wonderful host and he immediately communicated back when we had questions. He gave us helpful information on restaurants and things to do. He even arranged the taxi to take us to the airport on the day we were leaving. I definitely recommend this rental if you are visiting Barcelona.

Xavier’s apartment is a very comfortable and well designed space. I stayed a few days on my own and a few day with a friend. When my friend was there we had plenty of space but also privacy when we wanted it. I was very comfortable walking in the neighborhood, and it is easy to get to conveniences, public transportation, and key sights from the apartment. Xavier and Maria were welcoming, helpful and responsive. I would be happy to stay again if I return to Barcelona.

Thanks to this apartment our vacation was the most memorable and confort vacation I had in a long time. Location was close to pharmacies, supermarkets, and other amenities. Communication with owner and Vrbo app was excellent.

We had an excellent stay at Xavier’s place. The apartment was wonderfully furnished and both Xavier and his friend Maria were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the location—close to several Gaudi sites, in a neighborhood with many restaurants, etc., but also quieter than other area in Barcelona.

What a great apartment clean quiet roomy and a private court yard .

We really enjoyed our stay at Xavier’s apartment. He was out of town but we were met by a colleague who made sure we had everything we needed. First of the place is immaculate. Everything was super clean. The layout is great especially for 2 people who want their individual living spaces. Even though there is only one bedrooom, you can create 2 to 3 self contained spaces by way of a sliding door. I took the sofa and it was very comfortable. The kitchen is very adequate with a spacious fridge, small conduction stove and a microwave/oven hybrid. The bathroom has a shower which worked well. And some basic products are provided. The neighborhood is quiet so after traipsing around Barcelona all day you can come home and get a good nights sleep. There are also a number of restaurants in the area. You’re not in the thick of things here, but you’re not far from the main draws either. I just can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. We would rebook in a second. Thank you Xavier.

Appartement charmant et calme
Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre court séjour dans cet appartement cosy et idéalement situé pour visiter Barcelone.
Nous avons apprécié le charme et les splendeurs de cette ville : la Sagrada Familia et sa très belle architecture, la Casa Pedrera, le marché de la Boqueria, la magnifique Place de Reial.
Une mention particulière aux pâtisseries Formentor et Escriba.
Trois jours n'auront pas été suffisants pour nous permettre de découvrir toutes les beautés de cette ville.
Merci à Xénia de nous avoir accueillis et à Xavier de nous avoir rendu visite avant notre départ. Une certitude, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

El apartamento, el barrio, el vecindario, las opciones gastronómicas, los supermercados y la cercanía a diferentes transportes son sencillamente insuperables.
El apartamento es cómodo, funcional, bien decorado y equipado de manera excelente. Es destacable la iluminación natural que el apartamento posee y también la artificial, que es muy cuidada, de calidad y que contribuye a la decoración y a una ambientación de excelente gusto. Uno puede sentirse como en casa. Por la época fresca del año en que fuimos, no pudimos utilizar la hermosa terraza, que es un plus para destacar.
El barrio de Gràcia es uno de los más típicos y característicos de la hermosa Barcelona, se trata de una zona muy residencial y poco turística, pero a la vez bien conectada con todos los circuitos de interés.
El vecindario es muy tranquilo, lo que se traduce en una calidad de descanso óptima. Algo que los viajeros valoramos muchísimo.
Así como es tranquilo, también ofrece opciones gastronómicas de calidad y variedad sorprendentes; y también la cercanía con distintos supermercados que permiten que uno se abastezca de lo necesario.
Los transportes más recomendables son el metro y los autobuses, pero si está dentro de sus posibilidades y están acostumbrados a caminar, el emplazamiento del apartamento permite recorrer cualquier punto turístico a pie tranquilamente.
Sabemos que este apartamento será nuestra casa en Barcelona la próxima vez que visitemos esa hermosa ciudad. Pero todo esto no valdría de nada si no fuera por la atención del sr Xavier. Son para destacar su buena predisposición, su amabilidad y cortesía. No tenemos más que palabras de agradecimiento por el trato que nos dispensó y su ayuda en un momento difícil que nos tocó transitar.
Sin lugar a dudas recomendamos este apartamento y a su propietario y lo volveremos a elegir para una nueva estadía.

Idéal pour visiter Barcelone
Point de chute idéal pour visiter Barcelone, cet appartement est bien desservi par deux lignes de bus et est à 10 minutes d'une ligne de métro. Pour les vacanciers motorisés, il y a également un parking public à deux pas que Xavier loue à un prix très abordable. L'immeuble se situe dans un quartier calme avec des commerces de proximité.
L'appartement est très fonctionnel et confortable.
Comme mentionné dans les commentaires précédents, Xavier est un hôte chaleureux, de très bon conseil et soucieux de la qualité du séjour de ses locataires. Nous ne pouvons que recommander son habitation et le remercions encore pour son excellent accueil.

Excellente adresse à Barcelone !
Je recommande vivement cet appartement, tout neuf, charmant et placé dans un chouette quartier. Le centre et les principales curiosités de Barcelone sont très facilement accessibles. Nous avons plutôt opté pour les déplacements en métro : la station Joanic est en bas de la rue. Mention spéciale pour le propriétaire, Xavier, qui nous a accueilli avec passion et est très disponible à la moindre requête.
Dans l'appartement, aucun détail ne manque et nous avons notamment apprécié les guides mis à disposition. La terrasse est très agréable et est un must en soirée.

Hopla, un beau séjour à Barcelone. Un appartement très sympa, cosy. Bonne situation avec le parc Guel et Sagranda à pied. Bus et métro pas loin. Tous les commerces à proximité : boulangerie, pâtisserie, supermarché, pakistannais ouvert jusqu'à 22 h00, fruits. Des conseils à volonté de Xavier, toujours près à vous aider. Expérience gastronomique à Vinitus ( on prend quoi ? la carte est incompréhensible mais c'est bon !), restaurant tapas très prisé de Barcelone. Merci à bientôt.

Un appartement idéalement situé dans le quartier Gracia. Proche du centre historique, du parc Guell, de la sagrada familia,...
Un accueil très chaleureux de Xavier qui a pris le temps de nous recommander les visites à faire et les restaurants (nous avons testé le Tapeo et le VINITUS et nous les recommandons ausii !!).
L'appartement est très propre, fonctionnel (tout y est...) et le quartier est tranquille. Très bien pour 4 personnes.

Appartement joliment décoré, très bien placé dans Barcelone
Propriétaire sympathique et disponible qui est resté sur place pour nous donner quelques bons tuyaux et bonnes adresses. L'appartement est bien situé, bien équipé, proche du jardin Güell (à pied) et également proche du centre en bus ou métro. L'arrêt de bus est à 1mn à pied de la location.
Le moins apprécié dans Barcelone : les vendeurs à la sauvette sur les lieux touristiques et le long de la mer (par beau temps il y en a beaucoup trop) qui vous interpellent sans cesse.

Location idéale !
Nous avons passé un séjour d’une semaine plus que parfait dans l’appartement de Xavier qui est un hôte formidable.
Il a été d’une aide précieuse avant notre arrivée pour nous aiguiller sur les transports en commun à utiliser pour rejoindre la location depuis l’aéroport. A notre arrivée, il a passé plus d’une heure a nous donner des conseils sur les meilleurs restau/bars, parcs, places, attractions et monuments à ne pas louper. De plus, il y a des guides touristiques et des brochures des activités dispo en ville à disposition dans l’appartement ce qui est vraiment un plus appréciable.
La localisation de l’appartement est idéale : au cœur d’un vrai quartier espagnol et non dans une zone bondée de touristes ! Les transports en commun sont à quelques pas (métro, bus et bus de nuits).
Pour ce qui est de la location en elle-même, tout était parfait et décoré avec gout. La salle de bain au milieu des 2 chambres est très pratique et la cuisine très fonctionnelle. Il y tout le confort possible, et la terrasse est un plus non négligeable pour un apéro au calme après une longue journée de visites !
Nous n’avons trouvé aucun point négatif, et nous recommandons fortement cet appartement !!
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si jamais nous avons l’occasion de revenir dans la région.

A fabulous stay at Xavier's apartment in the wonderful neighbourhood of Gracia! For the first time in my vacation rental experience, this apartment was FULLY equipped and lacked nothing, especially the kitchen which was beautifully stocked with high end appliances and dinnerware. The unit was originally a commercial ceramics studio which means you benefit from high ceilings and a loft 'feel' all on the main floor of a regular apartment building. The open concept, as well as clever decorating by Xavier's wife is just perfect and made the compact space feel much larger (though if you were travelling as a larger group, it might feel a little tight).
The building itself is very quiet in spite of being just around the corner from some of Gracia's best and busiest streets and it was a perfect spot to return to at the end of long days. I know that some guests found the sound of the apartment garage door opening just below the bedrooms a negative, but strangely enough, the giant pluses of the space with its light, location and superb outfitting more than compensated.
Then we have the other major plus of the apartment which is Xavier, the owner, who went above and beyond normal host duties with orientation information, insider restaurant recommendations, and even showed up on the last day to ensure that the taxi he'd ordered had arrived!
