The location on the square was VERY nice. Lots of shops, restaurants and street musicians. A lively atmosphere. The hotel itself is historic and very nicely decorated. The desk staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations on restaurants, etc. I would highly reccommend this property if staying in Florence. It is also a fairly easy 10 minute walk from the train station, so no need for a taxi if you like walking.
The hotel did not offer breakfast, which we would certainly have liked as it gets the day off to a quicker start. Other than that our stay was almost perfect.

Location is excellent in the pedestrian zone and within 10 -15 minutes of the important historical sites, museums and train station. Rooms were spacious and exceptionally quiet despite the busy location. Optional breakfast at nearby Le Menagere has both continental and full breakfast options.
The deluxe suite layout: as you enter the private foyer the door on the left leads to a large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower. The door on right leads to a large room with a king bed and a large sitting area including a sofa bed. Beyond is another door leading to a second smaller bedroom with its own attached bathroom with shower. This layout means the occupants of the second bedroom walk through the first bedroom to exit the suite. For the first bedroom, the bathroom is across the foyer.
The layout worked for our family but may not for others.

Location was excellent. Helpful staff. Simple but lovely and large rooms. We were able to open our window facing the city view and could hear a musician play great music. This was a highlight for us.

Staff is excellent, super friendly. Location is great, right in heart of Florence. Breakfast is okay.
Our room faced the street and the street noise goes until late in the night. Street is very touristy and there are many shops in both sides of the street. Bedrooms have the barely minimum - not charming or recently renovated.
