The staff were super friendly and helpful, from reception to the restaurant. They always went out of their way to accommodate my needs/requests, and made me feel very welcome.
The sunset river cruise organised by the lodge was amazing- highly recommend! (I preferred it to the cruise on the larger catamarans offered by other companies).
My only issues were the mosquitoes entering my tent so I had to spray every few hours and couldn’t stay comfortably in the tent after spraying. The reception staff noted that and I trust the management will look at closing any gaps on that tent to stop them entering. Also the tents are (of course) not soundproof so it does depend on your neighbours as to whether or not you get bothered by noise. I had to complain one night and the security guard kindly went to ask them to be quiet as it was after midnight.

Great team. A lot of wildlife in the premises or in the river right in front of the restaurant (elephants, hippos, crocs, birds, monkeys), good restaurant for lunch and dinner
Breakfast not fantastic at all. Not enough patrols in the lodge - we literrally stumbled upon elephants at night or day at (too) close distance.
