Size of family room was really fine, room was clean, beds comfortable. Nice people at reception. Great location because of close railway station and underground, shops and restaurants around. We were happy with this hotel and can recommend.
Our family room was in basement and we heard when trains or something were riding underground. We heard it even feel it. It stopped ride around midnight or +-1 a.m. it wasn't no problem for us, we were ok with it (three adult friends) but I am not sure if it would be ok for little kids for example. Not if they have weak sleeping...

Old but well cared for hotel super close to Paddington Station. Owner/manager & employees were welcoming, helpful, and polite. Carried our luggage up without having to ask.
Bathroom was very clean & appeared newly remodeled. Beds were very comfortable w/lovely bed linens.
Cute little park across the street
This hotel is not for the faint of heart. It was 67 steps up to our room. Steep. We stayed two nights, We were gone the entire second day because we knew we couldn’t do those stairs more than once.
After climbing those 67 steps the first night, we learned the water in the room was not potable (there was a sign in the bathroom. If the room doesn’t have drinking water, at the very least, you should provide bottled water in the room. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone overweight or with some meat on them. I’m 5’5” 135lbs & when I turned around in the shower, my rear turned the water lever to straight cold & I about died of shock! Very, very, very small shower.
