This time, I was unsatisfied. The 2 previous times were great.

The room was clean, the mattress was comfortable, and the price was fine.

The room lay out was inconvenient where the tv was off to the side and not in front of the bed. The bed only came with 2 flat pillows. Previously, we were allowed to ask the front desk clerk for more pillows but we got refused this time. I got charged for parking twice and got refunded the improper amount. I last stayed here in September 2023 -> the elevator was being renovated. Now in January 2024, no progress has been made.

Perfect❤️ will definitely come back.

The location is nice and clean. Despite of construction going on while we were there and no elevators just the stairs, it is still worth it. It is affordable, accessible and clean rooms.

Everything is okay so far.

Helpful staff

Convenient for walking around San Francisco. Friendly, helpful receptionist. Nicely decorated bedroom and bathroom.

Lift wasn't working. (Being replaced) Breakfast was very limited. The hotel is situated right on the edge of the district with a big homeless/drug problem. I wouldn't have felt comfortable going out if I had been on my own.

Great stay, good value, some improvements but overall satisfied

Location was great, room was very clean, and staff was very nice and welcoming. I liked the design of the hotel in general.

Hot water was a bit long to come on the shower (a good 5min of cold/warm water before getting really hot water) Windows sound proofing could be way better (we got some noise from the street but we were very tired so it didn't bother us to sleep more than that)

Not great location and poor breakfast

Rooms were fine and clean.

The location is not in a good neighbourhood and I wouldn't like going out at night there or walking back to hotel despite being fairly central. Would stay in different location next time. Breakfast poor quality for the nightly cost and showers aren't great.

Good hotel. Unsafe area.

The staff were lovely and very accomodating. The room was small but very well decorated and the bathroom was lovely.

I cannot fault the hotel, facilities and service for the price. The area however is not great, with a high homeless population and we drove passed a murder scene on our last morning as we exited the building. if you have to stay in San Fran I would stay out of town in the hills or Saulito.

Comfortable and convenient place to stay for your vacation.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were nice. The TVs in both rooms were nice as well. Very close to a bus stop.

The continental breakfast wasn’t good. Not great selections nor was it ready at 6am as was stated. The coffee in the lobby was out of a machine that was absolutely gross. We ended up buying our breakfast and coffee from the coffee shop across the street. We also had a cockroach in our room one of the days which was pretty gross.

Terrible

The location wasn’t bad. It was away from the congregations of homeless people but close to the center city. Great coffee shop across the street. The street has ample street parking.

Ok first we arrived, me and my mom, and they gave us the smallest room I’ve ever seen… like only enough room for the bed. To make it worse the window faced into another persons room. The guests were very easy to hear and walking around in their underwear. When I told the person at the front desk she advised me to just close my curtains. Which is unacceptable so then she gave me a different room. This room was much bigger but again faced into a wall so there wasn’t any daylight in the room. There’s absolutely no closet space or even a dresser. Otherwise the room was pretty clean but I did see 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. I’d seen this in google reviews as well so I should’ve been wary. Ok so the breakfast is utter trash. The coffee is old, they give you white or wheat bread and these old filled containers of corn flakes or cheerios… not even fruit or granola bars… SO cheap!!! No complimentary water bottle… not even one. This IS not a 3 or even 2 star hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again. And the Wi-Fi stopped working for a day and half.

Cute, convenient spot

The gentleman on staff was excellent. Very knowledgeable, helpful, seemed to be right there if we needed anything or had a question. Wonderful service. The location was right by the venue where we were attending a show that evening. We walked there and also to dinner and breakfast. The room was cute and clean, and we enjoyed the vibe of the place. My boyfriend thought the breakfast looked good, but we had already planned to go out for breakfast.

There was no elevator. I could hear A LOT of street noise, almost like a window was open, but it wasn't.

Clean, not good for familes.

The location to public transport was good. It was clean

The room was way too small for a family with no sitting/lounge area at all. No room for suitcases. The neighbourhood is very unclean. In fact there was a homicide in the next street during our stay and gunshots and screaming the next night. The homeless and drug use right outside the door is very confronting, and a sad education for our children. We found it extremely noisy with other guests having no respect for people sleeping after 10pm, even at 3am.

I would never consider this hotel in the future.

The guy running the front desk moved my car sometime during the evening, left the car on, and killed the battery leaving us stranded at the hotel when we needed to leave the next morning. Instead of taking responsibility for his actions he said that we would be responsible for the fix and if that wasn't good enough maybe I should call the police. I feel he had the opportunity to do the right thing, but chose not to. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!

there is a moldy smell all over this hotel, the shower head and faucet in our bedroom were broken. the towels and linens were low quality

Close to the event we attended.

Small parking lot, I had to use a parking garage because the hotel’s parking lot was full.

A very nice hotel with great rates

The location was vary convenient to the location I needed to go. The people at the desk both on check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. Although the room was a bit small, it was more than satisfactory for my needs and it was clean and well designed

The front of the hotel is a little dumpy, the lobby was small and the breakfast was very marginal.

got more than we paid for but isn’t a luxury hotel

the rooms had interesting configurations for sleeping. the staff was friendly.

seems like it’s still newly under construction. lots of workers around. there were some cockroaches in the shower, and the walls were thin allowing us to hear lots of commotion in the hallways. get mostly safe but definitely saw some less savory folks coming and going which would give me pause to bring younger kids here.

Superb

room was clean. staff was nice and helpful. continental breakfast as written in description - yogurth, juices, some snacks, muffins, milk with cereals.

about parking you can struggle with finding spot but we were told that for sure we will have parking even it was in garage that had limited parking lots. but we parked a car everytime we came so good. location was not that safe i would say but not a big deal.

Friendly staff, value breakfast and facilities, but not great for families, despite the ‘family’ room.

The family room fitted a family of 5 well - but the middle bunk couldn’t be used because the rail was not high enough to keep a child from rolling off the bed.

The family room we had was by the parking lot, without windows. There were people coming all through the night and it was noisy - arguing and having big conversations - not great when you have kids and need to get up in the morning. Also, the neighbourhood was a bit scary to walk through with kids - homeless people everywhere and human excrement on the footpath.
