Located in Alaska, this attractive house for £249 per night is a great choice for your next break. Enjoy your vacation in this beautiful home situated on the banks of the Chena River! This very private 4 bedroom, 3 bath home sits on 1.5 acres, has a fully equipped kitchen, two living areas, two decks including one off the master bedroom, a heated two car garage, and plenty of room for one large family or several families or friends together. Relax with your coffee on the deck and take pleasure in the views of the river, wildlife, and the aurora. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, and one bedroom and one bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped including a coffee pot, electric tea kettle, toaster, and crockpot. Guests have access to an outdoor fire pit, indoor wood stove, and a 2 car heated garage. Our house is located right on the Chena River between Fairbanks and North Pole, AK. It is a 15 minute drive to North Pole and 15 minutes to downtown Fairbanks. The international airport is about 20 minutes

One suggestion- with temperatures getting warmer, it would be nice to have fans for all the bedrooms.

I loved staying here when we were visiting Fairbanks. The heated garage was what won me over when initially looking for a place to rent. The house is roomy & has everything you could need :)

The house is large and great for big groups. We appreciated the mudroom for getting into and out of the house with all of our snow gear. Also, the heated garage is amazing. It is an older home with some updates, which we appreciated. The only criticism about cleanliness was the lower kitchen cabinets needed to be wiped down. Quite a bit of grime/spills on them. Also, I did have to chase down property owners by contacting VRBO to get the check-in information.

This was our family’s first vacation to Alaska. The location of this spacious, comfortable home on the river was Perfect! We enjoyed the peace and quiet and of course the family time. We were able to explore near by and for us the location was ideal. The scenery was exquisite and the river created a mirror of gorgeous reflections. We were able to experience a classic thunder storm . Facilities were more than adequate for our needs, therefore allowing us to spend time at the house as well as explore. Overall fantastic family vacation. Thank you John and Wendy😊

Relax peacefully at this property
This is a great property with enough room to accommodate your large group. Very well stocked with everything that you will need for a comfortable stay. Close to Fairbanks and highways. I would ask the owners to add dark shades along with the blinds during summer and clarify that no bathing soap or shampoo is provided so that renters can be prepared. Everything else was just great and could not have asked for anything more. Will highly recommend this property. Thanks for sharing this great property with our group.

This location is in North Pole, AK
Myself, my brother and his wife and my sister and her husband.
The only downfall was we couldn't enjoy the back patio due to the insects being very hungry for our blood. Loved seeing the two horses come out everyday and drink in the river. We each were able to have our own private bath which is a plus on any vacations. The short 15 minute drive into Fairbank daily went well.

Very clean and spacious home. During our stay a winter storm moved in and we were without power for 23 hours. The property manager took good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and communication was excellent. We even had to extend our stay due to flights being canceled. We absolutely loved our stay here!

While you need a pretty high KP index to see the lights at the house, we were able to drive to Cleary Summit about 45 minutes away to get a great view. The house was totally equipped with everything we needed! Would highly recommend.

This is a wonderful, spacious home located on the Chena River. Lots of space. Need to restock supplies, no bath soap, no mixing or serving bowls, pots and pans need replacing. That said, would still recommend, owners were quick to respond and most helpful.
