Spacious rooms, yummy breakfast, easy to find and easy parking. Bonus of an awesome host.
The bed was a little soft for me but others in my group lived that.

As soon as we got there it was obvious the hosts take pride in their bed and breakfast, the whole accommodation was clean and tidy. The hosts were incredibly generous and cheerful. It is a little bit out of town but if you don't mind a 25 minute walk (if you want a couple drinks with dinner), it is well worth it for the lovely stay, quiet surroundings and lovely views.
Nothing I can think of.

Quiet location about 1/2 mile from Kirkwall. Surrounded by pastures with cows grazing. Great views to the harbour.

Breakfast is excellent! We enjoyed fresh fruits and yogurt as well as scrambled eggs and smoked salmonš Very hospitable landlady and quiet location on the top of hill area with beautiful harbor view. Walkable distance to the city center (about 30 mins).
Only one thing if we have to mention, where a water drainage of the shower was a bit poor. Apart from that, all excellentš

An excellent a la carte breakfast served fresh every day: yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs four ways, smoked salmon, bacon, sausages, jam and marmelade, honey.
Very convenient location in the outskirts of Kirkwall, central to the Orkney Mainland.
Theresa has been a very attentive landlady, also supplying a breakfast to go when we were due out too early.
Quick and reliable WiFi, clean and confortable room.
no problems at all.

An excellent breakdfast to go, as we had to leave with the ferry earlier that the due breakfast time. Care for food intolerances.

Ardconnel was a wonderful place to stay on Kirkwall. Comfy beds, great breakfast, and a wonderful host who went above and beyond when our taxi stood us up and we nearly missed our ferry connection. It's a little bit of a walk outside the main part of town, but it's walkable if you've a mind to do so. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Ah, the Orkneys, what can you say! Lovely.

Host is friendly, most helpful and kind. She showed me round town as I did not hire a car. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Very clean.
The location is a bit out as buses not so frequent during Easter Sunday. This should not be an issue if you hire a car as it is only 5 minutes from town by car.

IāmProbably the best shower weāve had so far in all of Scotland. And a truly remarkable breakfast!
The bed was a wee bit short for a tall fellow like me, but that was my only issue.
