Welcome to The Wexie In the Rose Garden Central Palm Springs. The Wexie is an architectural Gem. Designed by Donald Wexler, it's the ultimate house that uses a Open-Concept. The perfect flow, high ceilings and contrasting lines make every area its own, with still a great connecting to the adjoining rooms. A central Atrium gives you natural air flow that cools down the whole house. This is Resort-Style living in total privacy, within the Prestigious Rose Garden, just of Baristo Rd. on Tiffany Circle N, Palm Springs, CA 92262. A small walk to the Center of Downtown, with it's Nightlife & Casino. The Rose Garden defined by modern sensibility's, mid-century architectural designs by renown architect Donald Wexler and enhanced by it's spectacular location in the center of Palm Springs, with stunning Mountains Views, the native beauty of it's gardens & surroundings are breathtaking. This is truly a wonderful House, from the Sunrise in the East, to the Sunset in the West. Here you can gaze, in total privacy, over the mountain range from your terrace with extra large private Garden & trickling water fountain. It's in the best part of the complex, with large walkways and mature trees. Unobstructed views and steps away from a saltwater pool /spa/ tennis & pickle courts. A combination of antiques and modern Italian furnishings will make you feel relaxed and comfortable, from bedrooms with new Serta Pillow-top beds & linens, to the newly /fully equipped stainless steel kitchen with a french-door refrigerator, gas-range with convention oven / microwave & dishwasher. All rooms have smart-TVs. Netflix / wi-fi , also a washer & dryer are at your disposal. When entering the hallway, you can take the corridor on the left which leads to the bed & bathrooms or go directly into the kitchen that offers a breakfast bar, also there is an entrance to the Atrium and living-room, with it's vaulted ceiling /fireplace /patio that leads to a large private garden & BBQ area. The dinning room is adjacent to the kitchen and living room. Off-course all suites have there own identity & large sitting area with ceiling-fan. From the White Suite, to the Atrium Suite with it's vaulted ceiling /direct access to the Atrium and the en-suite Italian Master, completely appointed with modern Italian furnishings and walking closet. In addition to this, you have direct access to a large attached garage with ample storage for bikes & sporting gear and plenty of street parking is available for your guest. Hope to see you soon.

The house which in reality is a condo is not what you consider to be a vacation home. In fact you stay in a Place where the owners just left for the time of your stay. We were told many times that it’s not a vacation home and we think this should be mentioned in the description. It made us feel very unwelcome . Every inch is full with some easily breaking decorations.which we had not been told about although we had rented it for a family with three kids. Every closet is full with their stuff. Even in the kitchen cabinets there are pots with papers saying ˋonly for decoration ´. We were 6 people with no place for our groceries, no empty drawers for clothes. For more than 2 weeks there were roof repairs starting 7am and waking us up with the noise. Every day we had to clean the terrace from that potentially unhealthy dust (the workers used gas masks) so that at last we didn’t use it any more and left the dust and the debris where it happened to fall down. There was toilet paper and soap for the first two days ,no shampoo or shower gels, and shower knobs were very old and hard to turn on and to choose the temperature. we had to buy sponges and cleaning supplies immediately after our arrival. There was just a small bucket for trash for six people. We were told to buy or own trash bin. The mattresses were very old and worn down and you had to pay attention not to fall out of the bed as the mattress was saggy. No Netflix login for rooms, no chromcast for master. Communication with owners problematic. We wanted to meet because of all the problems but they refused although they had originally offered to walk us through the house. During our stay they asked twice if something was broken, so we knew already that they were going to make problems. So we offered them to meet on our depart so that they could see that every thing was ok but they didn’t show up. In the end we were accused of stealing and breaking several things. We never before had any problems with any house owner. Be careful if you rent this condo especially if you have kids. I don’t recommend it at all. The only reason that we didn’t move out was that we had already paid for six weeks.

Perfect Combination of Elegance and Fun
We stayed here for nearly two months (May/June) and loved this house and neighborhood so much! The architecture and layout of the Wexie allow the house to stay nice and cool, even on the hottest days. All bedrooms are generously sized, especially the master bedroom with its walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. The high ceiling in the living room and circular sofa layout make for great family time.
Erick and Javier were excellent hosts--very helpful and easy to get in touch with. Because it is their home and not just a rental property, it was fully equipped, but still very flexible, allowing us to feel like it was very much our space.
The garage is a life-saver under the desert sun and we took regular advantage of the community's two pools. The back garden offers a beautiful bit of outdoor privacy and if we were home at the right time, running through the sprinklers was great fun.

Our family stayed here for 2.5 months during the summer. This vacation home exceeded all our expectations. I recommend staying here.
Interior design: We’re impressed with the interior design of the house. Everywhere we looked we saw stylish furniture and beautiful decorations. Even the ceiling fans were a dramatic statement. The house owners put love and attention into every detail. As we browsed local furniture and art stores downtown, we realized that the interior design was a reflection of Palm Springs. Perhaps we need to get out more, but it was the best interior design of a vacation home that we’ve seen.
Kitchen: The kitchen had all the basics and had lots of dishes and glasses for entertaining. Bring your own waffle maker.
Neighborhood: The whole Rose Garden neighborhood is quiet, clean and well maintained. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed evening strolls and sunsets.
Location: I believe the house is in a convenient location. It only takes two minutes to drive to the grocery store, five minutes to downtown, 18 minutes to the tram, 50 minutes to Joshua Tree. Downtown Palm Springs and the nearby Palm Dessert have many furniture stores and art galleries.
AC: We have to say, this is the hottest summer in our life with a record 54 days of 100 to 120 degrees. However, the AC in this house provided us an oasis and we felt comfortable.
Nature: Although this is a desert, there was so much wildlife to appreciate in the neighborhood: hummingbirds, Northern Mockingbirds, Dessert Cottontails, roadrunners, and more. The mocking birds had a nest outside one of the bedroom windows. We witnessed the eggs and the little chicks.

Experienced the essence of Palm Springs over the summer

Had a great experience with leasing with no hassles or issues. In fact the A/C went out on the weekend and owners had it fixed in 2 hours - WOW! I would definitely lease again from them and in fact next year is a possibility.

Very relaxing trip. The location of the Wexie is excellent! The pool was beautiful, the apartment plenty spacious for a family of 4, and the owners couldn’t have been more responsive and friendly!

Big, quiet, private, well equipped, great location
Private back yard, nice deck, it had everything we needed. The owners were very accommodating.
The yard is pretty unique for a condo. In a very good way. The location is just a moderate walk to downtown. They even offered us bicycles.
Clean and comfortable, it had a garage. Fun time.

Loved our stay!
This place was so nice and perfect for our family while we were getting our house renovated. The location is perfect and close to everything, the backyard was wonderful, and we had everything we needed in the house. Erick & Javier were so friendly and very responsive when we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Unable to go to Palm Springs
I cannot provide a current rating because unfortunately we had to cancel our trip to Palm Springs this year. We always drive down from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and were planning to leave here on March 23 to spend the month of April in Palm Springs. As that date loomed closer our government began to close many facilities and requested that people avoid travel due to the risks of the coronavirus. On March 21 our Federal Government closed the border between Canada and the U.S. so we were unable to travel to Palm Springs this year. We did enjoy staying at the Rose Garden last year and hope we can go again next year and stay in the same unit.

April at the Wexie
My husband and I just returned from Palm Springs where we spent the month of April enjoying the beautiful weather, golfing, socializing with family and friends and excellent accommodation. Our spacious villa home in The Rose Garden was lovely and met all our needs. It has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a large living room, dining room, kitchen and a private outdoor patio in the back with a large grassy lawn. It was perfect for us and for our daughter, son-in-law and grandson who joined us for one week. The back yard was great for playing games including a croquet set provided by the owners. There is even a garage which was much easier on our vehicle than being parked outside. The garage also had two bikes which we enjoyed riding both for exercise and for exploring some of the community around us. This unit is within walking distance of downtown Palm Springs and is close to all the major roads if you’re travelling by car. It is also close to grocery stores and restaurants. The owners are very pleasant to deal with and were quick to respond if we had a question about anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Palm Springs since April is usually a cold and snowy month in our part of Canada. This was our first time staying at the Wexie but we enjoyed it so much that we have already booked the month of April for the next two years. It’s perfect accommodation for us.

Perfect Home away from Home
We found this home perfect for us, two couples on a golf vacation for a month. Great location to golf courses and downtown. We all spent a lot of time at the pool which is close by and usually not crowded. We all enjoy cooking and found the cook ware and kitchen nicely organized and well equipped. It was a joy to bring our Minature Schnauzer, Sophie with us on our extended stay. We would love to book again.

Terrific spacious condo close to downtown Palm Spr
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Wexie at the Rose Garden property. The condo was spacious and nicely decorated. The unit was well maintained and very clean with comfortable beds in all three bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and even had plenty of plastic storage containers for leftovers. The owners were very pleasant, easy to deal with and quick to provide answers to any questions we had.
The location was terrific as we could walk into downtown Palm Springs plus there was a small strip mall within 5 minutes. It contained a grocery, pharmacy, ice cream shop, terrific chinese fast food restaurant and a great nail salon. We would happy to recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Fantastic! A great place to stay.
A welcoming experience for all of us. The owners met us when we arrived and gave us the tour of the property, They were always available to answer questions and if we had a problem handled it quickly. The rooms were well appointed with very comfortable beds. The pool was very near and never very crowded. Very easy to get to downtown Palm Springs. The kitchen was easy to cook in and we took full advantage of it. We enjoyed having a glass of wine each evening on the patio. Definitely a place to consider when staying in Palm Springs.

Spacious and well appointed condo close to everything in Palm Springs
The owners met us on the first day to show us the condo and were very responsive to any questions that we had during our 3 month stay. Their home was very comfortable, well decorated, clean, and well maintained. The neighborhood is friendly with shopping within walking distance. Love the Mountain View from the front and back yards. Highly recommend this vacation home.
