Good location
Noisy accommodation
Lack of towels on arrival - had to wait until 10 am the next morning before given extra!
Food in restaurant was very poor (obviously a lot of the food was bought in and then over-cooked) and very tasteless. So disappointing

COST AND THE LOCATION
Some soil marks around the base of the bed which were not cleaned off . Dust in the room around unit tops

Breakfast OK.. Yogurt with berries lovely.
Were told by staff that they would book a taxi for us in the morning rather than the night before. And so we couldn't get one. The young man who tried was very helpful and advised us about the bus which we managed to catch to the railway station.

Generally the acommodation was fine. It is a very convenient location for us for family visiting.
The breakfast was poor - it is unusual these days, especially as it is not cheap, to have only instant coffee available at breakfast. The pastries were dry and the orange juice seemed quite cheap. It has also proved impossible to communicate with Marstons to cancel our breakfast booking for our next stay.

Excellent location, good base for exploring East Lothian. The proximity of an EV charger was a major plus for us. We had a couple of minor issues, which were dealt with superbly by the helpful efficient staff.
Poor storage in the room, ie no wardrobe or drawers. The extractor in the bathroom is poor, might be better if it were activated by the light rather than the toilet flush!

Manager tried to do his best but service not up to scratch. Thought £185.00 was bit dear for room only especially when had to keep going back to reception to get accessories.
Room service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bland Travelodge room next to the A1. No real beer in pub, not even bottled. Menu was like going back to a 1970s Berni Inn, the highlight being rotisseried chicken. Probably came in a basket too.
Had a ploughmans lunch, pile of cheese, ham & white toast. No salad or garnish (save for a solitary pickled onion - be still my beating heart!). In short just a plater of cholesterol!
