Nestled in Michigan, this lovely house for £492 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Enjoy farmers markets, town festivals and the beach in the summer along with the gorgeous colors on display in the dense woods and rolling farmland in the fall. House Rules: This property is not available for weddings, parties or high school/college events. The minimum age to rent the property is 27. No exceptions. Secluded Riverfront Getaway: Large 5 bedroom, 3 bath contemporary home in a park-like setting, perfect for families or groups. At the end of a long, private tree-lined paved driveway, this riverfront property with tennis court and screened porch is located in the middle of 20 wooded acres, surrounded by large tracts of land on all sides. The 5700sf two-story home with 2-car garage has two large living areas plus an office, fireplace, three decks, beautiful views from four of the large bedrooms (one, with bathroom, on the ground floor), plus a finished basement with extra bedroom, huge comfortable den / game room with TV area and game tables, and a mudroom that opens to a covered patio, the lower back yard and fire pit area. The large recently updated kitchen with granite countertops, side-by-side refrigerator, two dishwashers, gas cooktop and double oven opens onto the family room and dining room. Updated bathrooms, stylish decor, comfortable furniture and beds, and high quality bed and bath linens complement the guest experience. Dish TV and wireless internet included. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please confirm the breed and that they are well trained. Summer Paradise: The screened porch includes a dining table for 8, plus a comfortable outdoor living area. The attached bluestone patio has an additional dining area and the gas grill. The sun deck is also furnished. The views from the private top floor screened deck off the master bedroom are amazing. Enjoy the fire pit and bird-watching in the back yard, horseshoes, corn hole, and bocce (all provided), and river views from the decks. Tennis rackets and balls provided for the private tennis court. Deer, turkeys and other wildlife roam the property. 1800 feet of river frontage. The designated trout stream also has steelhead and salmon running in the fall. WIthin a 20 minute drive from the house are beaches, golf, the charming towns of South Haven, Fennville and Saugatuck/Douglas, wineries, farmers markets and you-pick orchards, lakes with boat and kayak rentals, hike and bike trails, highly rated restaurants, art galleries and antique markets. Winter Wonderland: Enjoy the views of the river and snow on the pine and spruce trees in the winter. The living room has a large wood burning fireplace; firewood provided. The house has two furnaces and is quite cozy and warm in the winter. The nearby Kal-Haven trail is great for cross country skiing. A short drive away is the Bittersweet and Timber Ridge ski areas, where guests can downhill ski and snowboard; lessons, rentals and daily lift tickets available. Downtown South Haven has an open-air ice skating rink, open daily - skate rentals available, as well as coffee and hot chocolate next door! After booking is confirmed by Vrbo, we will execute a contract separately. This is a standard rental agreement that is required by my insurance company and shouldn't contain any surprises.

We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous house which is a perfect blend of rustic and modern in the middle of nature. Couldn't be a better time to visit to view the fall color of the woods surrounding the house. The amenities were top notch and the basement was perfect for some entertainment and games with friends.
The only one small negative was we ran out of warm water everyday even after few people took shower but we have no complains given how much we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Michelle is an awesome host and Michael even allowed us to check out late. Would definitely love to come back.

This was our second stay, and we had just as much fun this time as the first. The house is spacious with plenty of room to accommodate seven adults and six young children (the basement was an awesome play room for the kids). The kitchen was easy to use with plenty of dishes, utensils, cookware, and two dishwashers, plus an extra refrigerator in the basement which came in handy. We only had one issue, but Michelle was easy to reach and quick to handle the problem.

We were thrilled with this property! We had a nice quiet retreat but so close to some of our favorite places! We had 14 in our party and the two dishwashers were incredible!!!! We enjoyed the multiple living spaces, indoors and outdoors! The kitchen was very well equipped; best of any property we’ve rented. The beds were comfy, the linens were very nice quality and we had plenty of them! It was a great place to celebrate and make memories together! We would love to go back again!

I rented this house for my husband and his twin's 40th birthday. It is a huge house, great for gathering. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and the two dishwashers are nothing short of amazing. There is a creek/river that is so fun to explore around and a big yard to play in. I do wish there was more HVAC control as each bedroom was either very warm or cold. The house itself is truly in the middle of nowhere - which is what we wanted, bring your own food. All the different rooms and levels provided multiple cool nooks to hang out in. This is a great hosting house and the owner was awesome to work with. Would recommend!

This was the pefect home to host a weekend trip with 3 families. The house and property were beautiful and serene. Game room was great for the little ones. We made a few big meals and the kitchen had everything we could've wanted. Hope to come again next year.

Loved the place. Tons to do and extremely spacious. The only things for us was the older showers and water was cold when washing up. And the painting in one of the bathrooms on the first floor. Besides that most definitely coming back.

The property met all of the families needs. With different age ranges, everyone found something to do on the outside of the property as well as the inside! This is a great home for entertaining and celebrating with friends and family. There were 11 of us and it was just the right size. If there was an issue, the owner responded immediately. We are going to try and book again for next year.

This property is amazing! The outdoor setting is beautiful and tranquil. We spotted a couple of deer visitors. The indoor space was huge and had lots of activities to keep everyone busy. The kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated having extra of everything including: dish soap, dishwasher tabs, trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable get away. Michelle and Michael were very responsive during our stay.

To say we enjoyed our experience at the house would be an understatement. We came with a large group and the house was able to accommodate everyone nicely. The house was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen was stocked with any utensil or appliance you might need.
Additionally, the basement had many activities and games to keep everyone busy and the bonfire in the lush backyard was a great way to end the night.
Michelle and Mike were very responsive and helpful when a question arose. We would love to return to this home in the future and would highly recommend it to others.

The house was lovely, decorated in a more retro style, but with a very updated kitchen. Very clean and all the bedrooms were a nice size. The screened in porch was great for playing games late at night, though we did the firepit. The owner and property manager were very responsive and pleasant to interact with.

This house is awesome! The pool and ping pong tables kept the young adults busy after the “old” folks went to sleep. Spacious enough where we didn’t hear a thing upstairs while the kids hung out downstairs. Basketball and tennis, fire pit and a large yard where dogs could roam off leash. Modern kitchen with everything we needed. Great family memories were made visiting Holland, St Joe, Saugatuck and South Haven. Definitely recommend!

Great week together
We found the house to be exactly what we were looking for with a family of eight adults and six young children. Lots of space to spread out, or to gather together when we wanted. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had just about anything you’d want to prepare meals. The plates, glasses and silverware were nice quality and plentiful. Mike was easy to work with and we had a wonderful week!

We had a very enjoyable stay! The house was very clean and ready for us to "move in" for the week. The house was very roomy and accommodated 11 adults very well. Our young adult children LOVED the basement: pool table, ping pong table and poker table. We appreciated the roominess of the home and being able to spread out as needed but could easily come together and play board games, cards and work on our puzzle. We spent a lot of time outside - the grounds are very well kept. We loved the tennis court for pickleball playing and plenty of room to set up our corn hole boards and hammocks. The only "disappointment" was from our fishermen - the river was really more of a stream (in mid-summer) and didn't allow for any fishing. Our interaction with Mike was positive and we had no issues with the property or house. We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful June week
We had a wonderful vacation at this property with extended family. The best part was the back yard and views of the trees, and we spent many hours on the porch. The owner was very responsive. We spent time in both South Haven and Saugatuck which were easy drives. Overall a great week!

Overall nice place
Small things were bad but overall good. I am only writing negatives so all else was good. Some dishes dirty so had to wash everything just in case, Foosball table requires replacement or severe maintenance, musky smell upon entering. No BSD channel for watching local games...
