We enjoyed the room but it was noisy! Upstairs, outside. And someone knocked on our door at midnight… seriously?! The bed was comfortable but wish it was a queen size bed and not just a double.

Room was dated and smelled of age. By far the highest priced motel 6 I’ve stayed at and definitely not worth the price. the only good part was the closeness to downtown.

The room was nice, adequate, and clean, but the pressure in the shower was extremely low. The Towel rack came off, and the refrigerator hummed all night until I realized where the noise was coming from and I unplugged it.

It needs a good cleaning!

Anna was very helpful at check in and fast

I thought this Motel 6 being in a prime location to downtown Palm Springs would be clean and safe. What we experienced was very concerning. It seems some guests live their full time, the room we were given was occupied by someone. The elevator did not work and the rooms were not clean. Thankfully the manager was accommodating by refunding our money for the two rooms we booked.

No hot water, no microwave air conditioner was busted. Rome was not clean.

Check in was unnecessarily difficult. Picture ID with name wasn't good enough. After going back to car to get Driver's License then they wanted ID for passenger as well.
The room had two beds but there was only inches between the beds and walls. Seriously NOT as advertised. And the mattress was like a futon with rocks.
No amenities in room at all, not even a box of Kleenex. The TV remote was missing the back holding the batteries in. Banging from somewhere throughout the night.
We lived through it and in fairness it did the basics barely.
Having said that, it was close to downtown which we wanted.

Pleasant and friendly staff but the place needs a MAJOR upgrade. Homeless people and drifters hanging around and camped out on the inner stairways and in the parking lot. Room doorway carpets filthy and worn out. One elevator out of service- the other looks and sounds like something in a scary movie. No shampoo or tissues in the rooms. BYO your own soap as well as what they provide is ridiculous. Sink drain stopper broken. No sheer curtain in the window so if you want any kind of privacy you need to close the curtain completely. The pool is nice but questionable looking people sitting out there drinking beer. Hot tub was under repair. The key room cards don’t always work. Very frustrating getting in even with new cards from the front desk. Thin walls makes it noisy. Not a great bed. Crazy shower experience in a very tiny narrow tub with an old clunky shower curtain. Very low shower head and very low toilet seat. No wonder this place is so cheap. Again, the staff working there were VERY nice and I think if Motel 6 gave them the resources they could turn that place around. Shame on Motel 6 “corporate”, not the office staff and housekeepers. They were all delightful and doing the best they could with what they have to deal with. Customers deserve better.

The gal at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. My kids and I had a horrible experience at another place and I got very little sleep the night before. She worked hard on getting us into a room as quickly as possible. The room was clean and comfy for our one night stay.

Good place close to town

Where to start? The Hot Pocket wrapper that we found on the floor next to my bed upon checkout (we didn't have any Hot Pockets)? The wet washcloth that was wrapped around the shower curtain when we checked in? The drain that overflowed any time the sink was run? I get that you get what you pay for...but this was a little bit much.

Loud. Dirty. Smelled terrible.

This used to be a hidden gem, at a bargain price. Now it is always sold out, and prices are ridiculous. Mattress was poor, room was very small and a bit dated, and we had to leave our curtains closed at all times for safety and privacy. Next time, I will pay a bit more to stay elsewhere. Just not worth it.

Always a great stay and great price! Custiner service A+!

The walls are paper thin, and it was very hard to sleep with all the noise. The drains in the bathtub and sink barely drained. The beds were hard and there were no extra blankets besides the thin one on the bed. Would have loved to put the air conditioner on to drown out the noise but it was too cold.

A bit more/too basic. Extremely cheap T.P., no kleenex, tiny bar soap only. No extra blanket. Nice hot water but no water pressure. Vending machines did not take cash.
It "read" better than it actually was.

Mostly met expectations. Rooms were fairly recently renovated and comfortable, including a table and nightstands, though not large. Outdoor passageways needed sweeping.

Last minute stay over. For a budget stay, it was updated, clean, and comfortable.

No Smoking ADA room. It was clean. It smelled musty and smoky. The electrical outlets are worn out and will not hold a plug. There are also too few of them. The sink bowl is broken, the bathroom exhaust has no cover, the handicap rails in the shower are rusty. Killing the smell was easy. It took a half can of Lysol up front and a spritz or two daily. This property is a very convenient and popular location. The staff is nice, pleasant and helpful. They also make good, hot coffee, available in the lobby. It’s simply overdue for remodel upgrades. The outside campus is neat and clean, the picture is accurate. 02/2024 Full disclosure: this was an extremely busy weekend with many tournaments and conferences and conventions. Every room was filled.

Room key cards stop working. Happened twice during my 4 day stay. Happened during previous stays at this and other Motel 6s. Never happens at more upscale hotels like Hampton. I have low expectations but bed was terribly uncomfortable and thermostat had no visible markings so didn't know which direction was heating or cooling. Bath towels are pretty small.

Staff are amazing, but the room needs more attention.

Made a one night visit with my girlfriend to Palm Springs but didn’t need 5-star accommodations since we would only be using a hotel room for less than 12 hours. So I settled on this Motel 6 and was pleasantly surprised. Good location and good condition overall. Nothing fancy but nothing to complain about either. Check in and out was simple and the room was what was needed for my short stay. I would ask for a comforter for the bed. I don’t like to use the heater and prefer to have warm blankets to stay warm when I sleep. Found one of the most amazing bagel places for breakfast called “Townies” walking distance from the hotel. Happy with my choice for a room.

Upper floor facing street quite noisy. Otherwise good for the price.

This is the first time I have stayed at this hotel. The office staff was very friendly and check-in and check-out was very efficient.
I had a Non-smoking room but when I opened the door I could smell that somone had smoked in the room.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and I would stay there again in the future.

Overall state was good only problem is that heater was not working so the room was very cold.
Would have given it a better rating for comfort and other things but it was just very cold

There was some sort of vibration coming from the first floor people on the third floor to noisy walking moving stuff just a lot of noise until 4 AM

It has a great out door presentation but inside the rooms they look nothing like they promote on the internet everything is very wasted very small the doors apparently don’t close correctly! I left behind my make up bag because right had to switch rooms cause they smelled like cigarettes and sadly we couldn’t go back into the rooms to check if my make up was there

Place was decent however finding out the area has changed significantly in the last cple yrs- lots of homeless.
Hot tub not wrkg. Pool was warm and clean. After the fact- found other hotels cheaper/same price with more to offer.

The initial room we checked into did not have a secure door lock, we were able to move to the adjacent room.
The rooms and property were filthy.

Great location, a little noisy in the morning. Hotel staff please don’t talk too much in the morning specially on the first floor.

The elevator was so trashed I felt like I was in law and order special victims unit. Once I opened the door to the room the smell of the cleaning products was beyond my liking. I turned around went to the office and cancelled. Would’ve been a penalty box of a room no thank you.
