About this house rental
Nestled in Michigan, this lovely house for £512 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Looking for a home that offers the quality and luxury that provides the ultimate getaway? You have found it! **Please Note** OFF SEASON BOOKINGS - the two houses are rented separately from each other so another group may be staying in the second home. The game room is also not available during the off season due to no heat and insulation. Non Summer months the second home is not included in price. SUMMER BOOKINGS - Prices listed for summer rates include a second home. (May-August) Off-season pricing does not include a second home. Cleaning fee includes damage insurance! Enjoy a beach bonfire, drinks on the patio in the shade of a mature maple, or play basketball on the concrete drive out back. When your outdoor activities are done, come inside for an easy meal prepared in the efficient kitchen then eaten at the dining table with a full view of the water, freighters, and lake activity. Top the day off by watching the sky change as the sun goes down behind you. The large house offers sleeping for up to 12+ people comfortably situated in 5 bedrooms (2 king, 3 queen, 2 twin), one bedroom downstairs, 4 bedrooms upstairs. The second home has two bedrooms with 3 queen beds (and an extra twin you can put on the floor) The kitchen and bathrooms are state-of-the-art and feature the latest fixtures. The shower in the master bath is built for 2 and both baths are decorated with granite countertops and ceramic tile. Having visitors? There is parking for a motor home or RV, up to 40 feet long, at the top of the hill for added guests and available as part of your weekly or 3-day weekend. There is parking for about 10 cars. Pets are loved but not allowed in this home, keeping it as allergen-free as possible. I do have a second home on the property that can be added to your rental. This is a completely renovated two bedroom home (new furniture, new appliances, new kitchen, bathroom, paint... winter 2015) The home is very nice inside! There is an extra charge for this home - please call me for details as it depends on how many people are staying and what time of year. It is also available to rent by the week - please call me for details and pricing. After your stay I ask for a quick email letting me know if there is anything we can add to make your next stay more enjoyable. We also keep a variety of books and movies at the home. I have had a number of requests to have larger groups of single people stay for a long weekend or week. Please note - for reservations for the summer I am only accepting reservations that take both homes (June - July - Aug) the summer price is for both homes. You will not find two homes 30 yards apart that are nicer in the area!!! The lake is at a 30 year high. The water is much closer to the house then the picture I️ have posted. I️ will update when I️ can get up there and get a picture. I have added a beach house and a few kayaks not shown in pictures

Stunning the place was a little small, smaller than expected, but it was beautiful and clean. The bedrooms are all small, except for one big master bedroom. I did not mind that though. The sitting outside was amazing. The grill was messed up and only one of the two worked. The working grill only had one side that was functional. They were very rusty and it took some time to clean them. Yeah their house was small, but it was good for one family. overall I love the place I would go again.

Gorgeous home with incredible views both on the water and into the field across from the driveway, where deer gather at sunset around the apple trees. The home is well laid out, providing ample space and privacy for all guests. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked with all you need to cook meals at home. The friendly neighbors were a bonus! The local eateries did not disappoint and we highly recommend The Stone Lodge and the Port Sanilac Marina, where dinner comes with views of the big lake. The game room was an added bonus and we enjoyed playing old time video games as a family. An all-around five star experience!

My husband and I booked this property for New Years weekend with a large group of friends. It was the perfect space for us. Lots of room to hang out together and plenty of sleeping spaces. It’s right on the water and the view was amazing. The owner got back to us right away whenever we had questions.

Frank was great to work with! The house was just right for our group of 10. It is a beautiful spot, we enjoyed the hot tub, the kayaks, a trip to an apple orchard, and a nearby State park for a walk on the beach and in the woods. We hope to return next year!

This property was perfect for our large group of friends to stay near the wedding location. Very near town and all of the fun activities. We could spend the day exploring and return for a relaxing evening of game playing and even a hot tub!

We did our team retreat here as a college basketball team and it worked out great. Frank and his family were very accommodating and spot on the lake was just spectacular.

We had a great time at the house. It was our 10 year Girls Get Away. The house is beautiful and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed watching the freighters and the moon rise out of the water.

The house is just like it's described and clean. The views are amazing, right on the water. The home is well equipped, with plenty of space and ability to accommodate large groups. The host was very responsive. No complaints, we all enjoyed our stay and would go again.
The only drawback is that the beach is rocky. However, there was still room for the kids to play in the sand and there was a sandy area a little further out in the water.
This is true waterfront property where you can sit on the patio and look right at the water! The kids and adults loved it.

What I would want to know if I was renting this home? All bedrooms were spacious enough to be accommodating with a large master bedroom on the second floor. One bedroom was divided into two with a temporary wall.
The light switch to both was only on one side. There are no private bathrooms, but all are nice and modern. Two kitchens were helpful as the oven in the main house would not maintain temperature (we made cookies on a rainy day). The owner was sent a message, so hopefully, it is repaired soon. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the amenities - hot tubs, video game, black jack/poker table, kayaks, and hammock room. We wished the skee ball game was working, but it was not operational when we arrived. The basketball hoop supports were broken and it kept falling over, but our family made some temporary repairs and was able to play consistently. The sunrises were awesome and the nighttime campfires relaxing. The dining area accommodated us well too. The beach is very rocky,
so be sure to bring water shoes for the whole family. Kudos to the widow next door who let us enter the water from her sandy beach with a cement pad. Our multi generational family had a great vacation!

My siblings, cousins & children were in a pinch to find a house rental - because a previous booking fell through. Frank had great communication and was very accommodating of our situation. The home was unique & the views of the lake really made the experience more memorable. All ages enjoyed the hot-tub & we had fun playing the family games that were available. The most unexpected joy came from the arcade machine! The weather wasn't in our favor, but we made the best of the time spent together, surrounded by the sounds of water. Thanks for hosting!!

We had a great time staying at the house! The property manager was fantastic and very responsive to any/all questions we had! The hot tub was slightly tricky to manage since I had never done that before, but overall it was a great stay. We plan on returning for an annual trip! The house was stunning and very clean. There is a boutique down the street (near the grocery store) that we stopped at to get some Port Sanilac hoodies/tshirts on our way out!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a long Easter weekend getaway. The temps were a bit cold but we still managed to play on the beach when the sun was out. We would love to come back with a larger group in the summer months. The house has plenty of space for a big group, especially when the 2nd home is made available.

It was not very child proof. We had to put up a bunch a decorations out of reach from the babies. And it showed hamicks and we didn't see any.

I rented this house with my three boys and my mom. The house is gorgeous - plenty of space, super clean, and right on the water. We enjoyed the hot tub, collecting rocks on the beach, watching movies, and playing board games together. Since it was off season, the neighborhood is really quiet, but it was perfect for us!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Frank's property. The home has a beautiful view of Lake Huron. The house is stocked with all the necessities. The arcade game and the hot tubs were extremely popular with the kids. It was a weekend full of great memories! Frank made things very easy as well!

We can't say enough.
Frank was awesome with communication. We were granted an early check in when we asked. The place was well suited for our group and the hot tubs were used as well.
Loved the ample towels that this place provided as well as the ample rooms!
We had a small issue with the furnace the first night but it was rectified. I would bring a phone that can do a Hotspot as the wifi connection was not great.
I would suggest bringing your own pillows, just my own personal preference!
We will 100% be back.

We loved Frank's home! Excellent location and beautiful property! We all slept so well and had so much fun in the game room and in downtown Lexington! We will def be back and we can't wait! The owner is amazing and so kind! He was quick to respond and so kind the entire weekend! :)

We just got back from a week at Frank's lake house. We had family coming form 4 states, and all age ranges. And the end result was just perfect. The property is truly fantastic, with great sleeping spaces for everyone to retreat, but a main living space that was both cozy and capable of managing a crowd with comfort. A great flow between large accommodating kitchn to the lakeside view of the dining room and back around to the living room with games to be played. The only minor difficulty early on was fighting over who gets the amazing master bedroom! Frank was extremely responsive and thoughtful throughout the process, and the cleanliness and amenities were perfect. Our southern family called the retreat "Winter Beach week" and we will hopefully come visit again.

We really enjoyed our rentals. We have a big family and it accommodated our family with sleeping, playing games, cooking big meals, having bonfires and also watching the freighters out on lake huron. Our family has stayed at this house several times over the years for a couple's retreat! We always stay in November and we always have a wonderful time! Very spacious with plenty of room for us to watch football or play board games and then, of course, there is the hot tub! The owners are always very quick to get back to us with any questions we might have! I highly recommend this property! You will not regret it!
