Food excellent though pricey.
Plumbing needs attention to bring up to acceptable standard. Window frames need attention. If you arrive early staff not that welcoming.
Overpriced for the quality of the accommodation.

The people of Borgie Lodge were super (dog) friendly and made us feel comfortable. The food was excellent! The shower perfect. One night at Borgie Lodge was enough to recharge for out next day of the trip!
We are used to sleep in cold
conditions, so it took a while to get the room cool again 🙃

The location was perfect, right along the route I was taking. The room had a beautiful view onto the hillside and there was even a little swing chair outside for guests to enjoy. The room was bigger than expected and exceptionally clean, the bathroom looked to be brand new and was lovely.
The curtains in the room I was staying in did not fully close, it wasn't a huge issue as I hung up one of the dressing gowns available to fill the gap.

The rooms were stylish and clean and overall very comfortable. They had a bar area and lounge area both with roaring wood burning fires, the rooms were also heated ready for our arrival. The food was excellent one of the best burgers we’ve ever had, would come back to the area just to stay at the property again!
