Don’t delay, this is one place you will want to stay! Set within the backdrop of a picturesque Northern Michigan forest this log cabin has all that you need and more for a vacation getaway. With five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and a large bonus bedroom above the garage (Summer only, no bath, no heat) you'll find the perfect comfortable space for all your friends and family. In the recreational and residential community of Michaywé you will find a variety of activities close at hand. The Lakes golf course, Michaywé Pines Golf Course, and access to the Michaywé Community pool and spa. With hiking trails, biking trails, and at the center of the Gaylord Golf Mecca you will never run out of things to do. If a private time away is what you are after, then this rustic log cabin in the woods has all you need. Even with a house full of family and friends you will be able to find time to rest, read, and relax. Please Note: •WiFi is not high speed. It's DSL. •Fire pits of all types are not permitted. •Fireworks of all types are not permitted. •Bonus Room above garage is only available from May - September. The only access to the bonus room is through the 2nd floor bedroom. •Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. This is the Homeowners Association Rule and cannot be abused. Main Floor: Bedroom #1: Suite with private bath, two queen beds. Bedroom #2: 2 queen beds with adjacent bath. Additional: Full Bath & Laundry, Kitchen, Dining, and Living area. Second floor: Bedroom #3 is a suite w/ 2 queen plus one twin and private bath. Loft area: 2 dormers w/ privacy curtains, one twin bed per dormer. Additional: Loft area sitting space and walkway deck to garage. Lower Level: Bedroom #4: 2 full beds Bedroom #5: 2 full beds and 1 twin. Additional: Family room w/ 3 futons, big screen tv, dining table, kitchenette, and games. Bathroom: Large with 2 pedestal sinks, tub with lots of towels and supplies. Garage Upper: 4 full beds in garage bonus room (no heat or bath). Summer only. Garage: 2 car garage with an extra refrigerator with plenty of room to hold all your coolers, clubs, and gear. Upgrades to the home are done by the owners regularly. Every detail of your stay is meticulously accounted for. Your time spent here is of the utmost importance and all that can be done to make it comfortable will. We hope to see you all soon!

I have organized a golf group of 16 men for a long time around the state at different resorts. This year we decided to select our own courses and stay off resort at this property, and it was perfect for our group. Could not have been happier. Beds enough for all 16 men to get their own bed and plenty of common area space to hangout and socialize after a day on the course. With a lot of great golf in the Gaylord area, this property is premier for large groups that want to stay together. Recommend for all golf groups, especially larger ones of 16-20 men.

Can't say enough about the property, the owner and our whole trip. Great experience and tons of room for our family reunion golf outing. Super quiet and relaxing with tons of places in the house to relax. Well equip house with all the amenities you would find in a high end hotel or your own house.

This property was beautiful and the abundance of sleeping accomodations was a delight to pick from. Plenty of bathrooms for 10 women. The home was decorated beautifully and well thought out. The expansive dining table allowed for hours of food, fun, conversation and games. The seaating area allowed us comfort and access to the kitchen. Our host, Melinda, was wonderful. Melinda met us at the house upon arrival and reviewed the house and answered any questions we had. It was great to sit and see the wildlife come in daily, in both the morning and evening. We gather as a family for trip each year and will definitely be going back to Michawaye. Thank you Melinda for a lovely stay and allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

Everything about this property was wonderful, from start to finish. The owner is really nice and over the top accommodating! The cabin is so beautiful and well maintained. It is the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in! So many personal touches made it extra special. It is just a 2 minute drive to the Michaywe’ pool which the kids loved spending time at. The layout of the cabin worked great for our group of 5 families with kids ranging 1 year to 8 years. Great space to be together and perfect set up for personal space when you need it. Highly recommend this rental!!!

We stay here for 4 nights through thanksgiving. It was my parents, siblings, there families and mine. The house was well stocked from cooking stuff to toiletries. Very clean. A beautiful home. Melinda was very attentive to what we may need and very responsive to out texts.

Excellent, clean property. Had 20 women. We all had a place to sleep. Plenty of room. Host had nice array of toiletries in each bathroom which was very welcome as I have rented some places which had no hand soap or extra toilet paper! Would rent again. Great area, 3 golf courses within 2 miles. Perfect getaway.

Melinda is helpful, thoughtful, gracious and a great communicator. Her house was perfect for our stay with a fantastic layout that was ideal for two elderly couples (two first-floor bedrooms), six other adults, and two kids (and room for many more). We were constantly impressed with the extent of incidentals that were available in every room, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. We had many meals (with a kitchen completely stocked with everything we needed for preparation), enjoyed our time on the back porch and playing corn hole, had several beautiful walks around the large development including the lake, and enjoyed swimming as well. It was a delightful weekend in a real log home!

I booked this property for my annual golf group weekend. We have stayed in many large rental properties and this was one of the cleanest we have had. The kitchen has everything you need, usually there are the basics, but this is a fully appointed kitchen. There are plenty of beds, we had 13 adult men and everyone had a bed and we were not crowded. We will be back the next time we come to the Gaylord area!

The property owner is very responsive and very interested in our having a wonderful stay. The place is decked out with all the supplies to make a comfortable stay.
